The app premise is good. Here's a few tips on making the experience better. Photos: Potentially take multiple photos of the auctioned item. Defintely add a item of known size (e.g. meter stick)in the auctioned picture. Gives a better idea of the time size. Descriptions: the descriptions as they are are very minimalistic. Details like materials of construction, model number, condition of item (on a 5 star scale), new or used details is useful in determining how high your bid will go.
The app is good. A setback I've encountered is after winning a bid, I struggled to get the payment reference to complete the transaction. This should be quite simple to add on each product on bid. I have searched and searched - zero. Frustrating.
**CAUTION, MUST READ!** Starting bids have all of a sudden disappeared for CPT auctions when someone has started a bid, Starting bids are set to 50% during month-end (rather sly & cunning) & isn't worth the price with 25% added on-top of the final bid. When searching for a specific item, it's IMPOSSIBLE to find which auction it's from as it doesn't show you which auction the item you searched for is in. The app isn't great to use, nor the WEBSITE.
The app works well, but the search option seems to be missing a filter in the code. It mixes past and upcoming auctions under the upcoming tab. It also seems that it sometimes sorts on lot numbers and not auction dates.
Good app for online auctions. However when combined with live auction you have 0% chance of any bid going through. You are effectively excluded from all live auctions, despite having paid exactly the same amount of registration, and spending the same time in supporting Aucor. There are very good models to include online bidders like the "Bid or Buy" app, but somehow Aucor has not been able to include this in their model. Sad!
I had registered to bid on the loose assets auction here in Port Elizabeth and it said I must wait for my confirmation email and I am still waiting for the verification email. We tried phoning and phoning, but no one answered. All the items I wanted to bid on didn't even get sold they had just ended. This is also not the first time I have had an issue with this auction house
Whats these of having auctions with no items? All (3) of thr sictions in CT have ZERO lots, 1 of which starts tom and the other in 2 days!? Also, add a settings option so i dont have scroll thru 101 auctions that arent in my province! This is BASIC user interface sht, come on👎
You need to include a sort by most active items to see what is hot property. As well sort by largest or smallest bids. The app struggles to load more than 800 items when you are scrolling down.
Auction app is a disappointment, not allowing us to bid until the end the app gives an error from 30 minutes before the Auction ends ,this is wrong
Cape Town is the worst out of all the areas for example they have an auction for tomorrow then today they still haven't updated whats going to be on the auction then you must still pay R2500 for registration not knowing what will be on the auction and 90% of the stuff that go on auction sells for normal price in the shop and the stuff on auction are opened used and most times damaged
When bidding for a car the system keeps increasing the bid and out biding me and the car ends up unsold and is the on auction the next week with a higher opening bid price.. if there's a reserve price it should be stated , I feel this is very unfair
The app is perfectly fine, my problem is the people. No answer on emails, whatsapp messages and just ignoring people. There should be a complaint email adress as well as managers contact details added to all the information sheets.
Great app, but customer service is absolutely horrible. Requested invoice on item I won 4 days ago and still haven't received it while policy is that payments should be made within 3 days after auction finishes - Ridiculous...
The app is good and easy to use, but the service is the worst. Always have to send angry emails to get your goods or your deposit back, even those emails get ignored.
Excellent app, followed the rules, and was registered within a day. Bidding for an item was easy, provided that I has a good data signal on my phone.
Good app however i made a mistake on an item when bidding. I chose max bid of i high amount and theres no way of changing my option back down.. Thats sickening for me ita like im forced to take the item even with the price being high... Not happy right now.
What is the point if you register days in advance of an auction and get no response on your registration by the time the auction ends? Then you need need to register for the next auction all over again with no response!
Dissapointing, my registration has been pending from beginning till end of auction. A "contact us" option should be included to facilitate registration.
Wish more auctioneers had app like this. Simplified and organised. If you set a bid you need to stand by it, don't be a n00b.
App hangs constantly at any time of the day. When placing a bid, app is very slow

Very bad, the app was useful, and everything but when it comes to my order it was very bad, there items missing on my order it's not what was promised
Good experiences all round. Always get good service at the CPT branch. The app works good...but prefer live auctions.
I have been buy stuff from Aucor JHB. They sell alot of broken and nor working stuff and refuse to take them back. I lost alot of money. I recommend Aucor Durban, they have excellent service and products are new and good. Please beware of Aucor JHB.

Redundancy... If the auction is online then there should be more pics so u know wot ur buying. Lotsa faulty items
Servers need an upgrade, it doesn't seem like it can handle the volumes. Application need Improvement when browsing items. Very bad experience using this app as it's super slow on any network, and you have to refresh the list which makes you start again from the top. At the last few minutes you cannot get all your bids in as well
