Auction Sniper

I've been using auction sniper for YEARS! I love it! No bidding wars! Bad for the seller ... good for me! LOL. It helps me stay on budget too. I decide the absolute most I want to pay for an item & I set my snipe for that budgeted amount. If I loose ... no big deal. Another will always pop up. If it's a one of a kind item that won't pop up again on eBay ... I stay on budget. No emotional bidding. Auction sniper has been a huge tool for me. I did like it better when it was .25 cents, but ok.

Excellent tool, allowing you to use "fire and forget" bidding. You can bid on individual items or collect similar items into bidding groups where AS will bid on each in turn until it wins (in which case it stops) or runs out of items. Bidding rules easy to understand. You identify what you want, set a sensible limit and leave AS to jump in with three seconds to go and do your bidding. Excellent tool - I commend it to you :-)

The app is faultless except they should give some warning if they are updating or whatever they do which makes the service unavailable for a period of time. Ie. Friday evening 31st jan 2020. (Central Aust time). I thought something was wrong with my computer and phone. I uninstalled the app, reinstalled the app etc. An email would have saved me wasting time.

nowhere does it say that this is a premium service. I only found out several minutes before the end of auction that the credits need to be bought! What's wrong with being honest and transparent at the outset without need to trap the user. Follow up: To the developer credit I was promptly informed that there were three free snipes available in my email as an insentive. I must have missed it and the app clearly requested me to pay. Its OK but bit convoluted.

I've used auctionsniper for many years and it's great but the current state of the android app is chronic, it takes ages to update the watch list, if it will even do it at all, and it's the same with some other lists. This makes it incredibly labourious to use and is very annoying. Please auctionsniper sort this out!

Edit ~ app specific review at bottom!... deducting x1 star. Firstly, I LOVE Auction Sniper - there's no way i'dv won most of the auctions that I have without this awesome service. The process is simple & refined* with fees that are very reasonable (mere pennies on most things). Tip; always use the "second shot" bid increase option!... this feature has saved me from my own stinginess many times - whoever came up with that idea deserves a promotion. * Now regarding the mobile app: I'm glad to have it.... but it needs work. I understand there's only so much that'll fit on a 5" smartphone screen, but the versatility factor is VASTLY lacking compared to having an Auction Sniper tab open next to an eBay tab on a laptop or tablet. I still recommend downloading the app, because it's a quick & easy way to win auctions... especially in conjunction with the eBay app. Hopefully tweaks will be implemented to improve the app... but as is in "no frills" form it gets the job done.

This app works great! Every time I see something I really want it's so much easier to be 'invisible' on eBay until the last few seconds or so. It's helped me win a lot of auctions this way! Very happy with the service for such a low fee.

Awesome app! Works flawlessly. I've won about 98% of the auctions I used Auction Sniper to bid on. The only reason I list those few auctions is because my bit wasn't high enough, but that was only because I want willing to pay any more for the item(s), it wasn't the fault of the app itself. So, you could say that the auction "WIN" success rate for me with this app, when I bid high enough, is a very clean 100% !! A PERFECT RECORD!

If you're not using this app, you are at a huge disadvantage. Even just a casual shopper looking for items here and there still needs this app. Without it, you're either losing auctions you could have won or throwing money away.

Powerful Auction Tool! I have used this app for years and saved a bundle on my purchases. It let's me bid in the background so I don't generate competition for the item. Basically I put in the max I would pay, and right before the auction ends, Auction Sniper puts my bid in at the next increment and I win!

If you want to win an item, don't use Auction Sniper. I had set my bid on an item days before the end of an auction I should have won. After the auction received an email from Auction Sniper that I lost, but showed my bid higher than the winning bid which even accounted for the necessary bid increment, but I still lost! Sniper said they would have technical investigate what went wrong but I never heard back. Tried Auction Sniper again and my bid never even showed up on the list of bidders.

I've used this for many years. It wasn't even an app back then but just a website. Still saved me a good amount of money IMHO. I'm really surprised that they didn't get greedy and jack the fees up. Kudos to you, auction sniper.

Love the app, but im having problems that are ruining it. I originally logged in with one account, but I now have a new account so i logged out of the old and signed into th new one. But whenever I open the app it has automatically logged in to my old account! Despite the fact that I logged out of it AND logged into a new one! So frustrating and makes using the app a real hassle.

App is not working to load my watched items. Website is slightly better but still very very slow. And very glitchy. Great concept and fair pricing. Hope they can fix the app and website.

So far so good, won the items I wanted and the app makes this so easy, I don't need to sit watching the auction when I can be busy with family or working out (eating chocolate and crisps who am I kidding). Great app and easy to use! I would fully recommend this app to regular ebay users.

Discovered this website many years ago and have been using it ever since. When they finally came up with a nap, was definitely happy. The definite go to sniping tool if you want to win auctions.

I've been a customer of Auction Sniper for 15-years, and much as I appreciate the functionality and I still use it, it really does look like a 15-year old app. Feels tired, slow, dated and homemade. Has aged like a cute puppy now fifteen and arthritic.

Little skeptical about putting my bank info on a random app for eBay. But its actually legit and pretty useful. Didnt know that this was allowed on eBay and within the first few hours of downloading I already won my first auction! Thanks so much!

I've used Auction Sniper for many years and LOVE it! It's so easy! It watches all my bids, making sure I don't lose, according to the limits I set.

Can not see shipping costs. Snipe it, then go to pay and see the shipping is 3x the price of your winning bid! Yow, and ouch. Gotta pay!

Doesn't seem to have all the features of the website yet - no snipe folders, no bid groups. It is however a bit less tedious at importing items from your eBay watch list.

The only way i bid on eBay! I select my max bid and walk away, but here's the advantage. If i change my mind i can cancel the snipe without an issue, can't do that if i placed a bid on eBay.

Excellent app, easy to use and utterly reliable. Simply set your max price and avoid bidding wars by sniping at the last second before competitors have a chance to react.

Did not even bid on an auction that went for way less than I put in as my max bid. Naturally, I didn't win. I'm very p!$$ed.

My new found addiction. I set the max price im willing to pay for an item and auction sniper takes care of the rest. Love it!

Cannot log in after signing up to open an account. Impossible to link account to Ebay. Gave up. Uninstalled because of too many problems trying to get an account.

Love it, can win bids even when I am busy doing other things. App works reliably and is easy to navigate.
