Perfect execution! The UI is user friendly an easy to navigate. The sign up is a breeze. Bidding is not hard to figure out, you just have to read each auctions rules, which explains shipping and costs. I've won several auctions and everything was shipped to me in a timely manner. Hands down the best auction app there is. Well done and thank you creator's!!!
I'm a buyer of a wide variety of oddities. This is the app if you like me or love the simple auctioning atmosphere. So many different auctioneers to bid on art, jewlery, furniture, antique's, collector items, coins etc I can go on and on. But I won't I have a item to win..
Why can't I find "favorites" on your app? It seems you can only do that on the website, but the website account isn't synced with the app? Not only is their website really poorly constructed, but the app is no better. And for people new to the site, neither the website nor the app has explicit instructions, it's difficult to find things... 👎🏼
Its 2022 now and this app is still terrible. Cannot save an item to my account. No heart icon visible like in web version. Trying to add to calender works but when view in calendar it cant link back to the site or app. So no way to know which auction house or lot it came from. Same for sharing item... link is no good Link to give feedback in app also doesnt bring up anything. Dont know what else is wrong but those issues above are enough for me to uninstall and just use the web version
Either make the app so you can swipe to the next picture and zoom in or bring back the old mobile site. I like the look and feel of the app but it's a pain to click on the arrow to change pictures. Zoom feature is an absolute must. I can zoom in to see enough detail to determine if I'm going to attend the auction or not.
No favorites? U can't access auctions I've favorited on the browser? Either I'm blind or this idea of leaving it out are dumb....
Easy to use. The best resource for information on area auctions.
Terrible. Won't load. Won't create a login. The whole layout is so unhelpful and basic looking. It has no it caught up to this century. At one point, the new Space Jam movie preview came on T. V. And between that and how old this app felt, I thought I was back in the 90's. I started to close out of Netscape Explorer in case someone was trying to call. Didn't want to tie up the party line. All jokes aside. Couldn't get the app to do anything really.
Worked great for awhile, but now will not load any listings. When I search for nearby auctions, it returns "no listings found". If I go to the website, there are several. Uninstalling the app. No point.
Not a good app at all. No way to find my "Favorite Photos" while at an auction. Only shows online auctions, not in person auctions. No calendar function. I uninstalled the app and just use the web version, Not easy on a phone but it's better than this app.
This app was a very good app until about 2 weeks ago they either did a update or something but now when you try to log in it logs you in for about 2 seconds and then logs you out and says cannot load user profile. They need to fix the app something definitely not right with it have to use the website instead of the mobile app. Liked being able to bid from the phone can no longer do that please fix this app. Will give this at 5 stars once they get it fixed
This auction app is great. you can put in a zip code and find an auction to choose from. It has all kinds of ranges of auctions and some of them can be reasonable. I love auction apps. If you like them give it a try you wont be dissappointted.
very unhappy. used it once, and has not let me log back in since. kicks me off the page and says "unable to load user profile". Download at your own risk. i do not trust this app! it now has all of my bank information, and i have no way of entering it and deleting it.
Not very user friendly, map is inaccurate and only shows a few sales. No sorting option. It's almost as bad as their new website.
App is not monitored. If you search for an in person auction it still gives you online auctions. Auctioneer's are putting auctions as in person, then you look at the auction on the app and it will state online only. Why have the feature to select what kind of auction you are looking for when an auctioneer can put in whatever they want? Extremely frustrating.
The app sucks so bad and the website has so many annoying ads that pop up EVERYTIME you try to look at pics. Owners got too big for their britches, no customer service and put out an inferior service because they dominate the market and can be greedy and get away with it. Some of us remember when you didn't even exist.
Go back to the old way..gives only online auction. Want to see ALL auctions, live and online. Pop up advertising is a nuisance. Put in zip code for 50 miles and get hundreds of online auctions from all over the country.. Have used auction zip for 7 years. This is the worst by far!! Please go back to old way.
Why do you have to enter a keyword to look at online auctions?????? At most a distance from your zip like the in-person option. And for that matter why separate???? Want old version back!!!!
PLEASE highlight in yellow my searched keywords when they appear in the auction description! It was my favorite part about the mobile auctionzip website, and now I can't seem to access the site and the app doesn't highlight anything :(
Please show current auctions, not future auctions before current ones after search criteria button has been submitted. PLEASE create or categorize 3 buttons to select auctions. 1) online only 2) online & in person auctions 3) in person only auctions. Almost everyone I talk to who uses this app to find & attend auctions, says what I am writing in my review to you.
Easy to navigate. The bidding process is straightforward and you'll find something to buy. There literally is a auction for everyone's interests.
Uninstalled this app. It always went to auctions I wasn't the least bit interested in, even when I did a search from the app. Also would not go to auctions that were emailed to me.
won a bid never received the item... contacted the seller and auctionzip but the communication is very poor!!!!!!! watch out!!!!!! I was lucky I didn't get into expensive stuff
Lack prompt CS considering timeliness of auctions. No reply to vm msg, no one answering calls. No visibility to competing bids during or after auction making shill bidding too easy, which I suspect. No point in requiring bidder ID when its not seen. Will avoid any online bidding.
Need work on mobile functionality. Not much better than the mobile website. Cannot swipe to change pictures. Cannot zoom. Pretty useless app.
Online Bidding Is A Mess!!!!! My High bid $10 final bid $10 I win right? Wrong! Said someone bid on another platform! Wouldnt let me bid because it said I was the highest bidder. Auctionzip said maybe I should of prebid higher next time!!!! Really bid against myself you say!? Both Auctionzip and Auction House pointed fingers at each other and said cant help! 8 years bidding online never ever has this happened! Lost a customer
I have delt with a number of honest sellers,but shipping needs to be addressed for combined shipping. Great site so far, I have recommended this site to a number of people to.
Great app for local and distant auctions for live or online. A must have for all the professional buyers. Updated with all surrounding event details and easy to navigate through. I highly Recommend this app to all novice.
Good app but they have to fix the online auction or in person auction deal...says in person then it always ends up being online! If its online put it on the online section if its in person make sure the auction IS IN PERSON
Good to see auctions in your area, but lacking in the most basic of features. I can't understand the following decisions made in regards to the app interface. 1. Hyperlinks aren't enabled. I cannot click auctioneers links listed in auction description. 2. Number one wouldn't be so bad, but you cannot copy and paste a hyperlink into a browser. 3. No zooming of your screen to enlarge pictures and no clicking on pictures to get a larger view. You're stuck with postage stamp sized picture.
