Audi A3 e-tron connect
Using a smartphone app and the A3 e-tron platform (etron.audiusa.com), data on the vehicle status can be called up on aspects such as the current level of charge, the electric range remaining and the vehicle location. Information on recent trips, such as the average electricity consumption, is also always readily accessible.
Starting the charging process and the climate control by smartphone app, either straight away or using the customisable departure time scheduler, makes sure the vehicle is fully charged and optimally pre-air conditioned for the time the driver wishes to set off – summer and winter alike.
The pre-air conditioning optimises the electric range because the energy needed to cool or heat the interior comes from the power socket, not from your vehicle battery.
Important information: For US customers please make sure that language is set to English (United States) in order to access vehicles from US market.

Completely useless. Data are updated every few hours. No lock unlock doors. It's not even updated for Android 9 or 10
i hope the new etron app works better than this. it doesnt really get any real time uodates. at least i was able tonuse it to program my car charging times.
Worst app I have ever downloaded just plain does not work - at all - ever
Had an issue and looked for support on their site, got a fast and friendly response and everything works. If you get an error or redirect, check the button below your code to make sure you have the correct region selected. I was in EU version and never new it. Works great again. Warm up schedules and charging schedule is great. Wish there was a reminder to renew it, it expires every 7 days or so.
The app rarely works. Registration failed b/c someone didn't know how to setup the SMS msg format. Charging timer didn't work so my car didn't charge. Majority of the time it cannot connect to my car. Or it says status update is good but it's still an hour plus ago info. Update: now it won't let me log in anymore.
Unexpected features on the A3, like this app. I love that I can turn on the AC in a hot day or the heat in a cold day. Also lovely to find the car in that big parking lot that I forgot the number/letter. The statistics are also fun, but of very little for the majority of people, I'd guess. Still, amazing feature of the car.
Installed latest version and still unable to remote set timers. This is getting more like skipware every time they release a "new" version. Begin to wonder if they employ Brian Rix in the software team.
This app is a disgrace to the Audi brand. Never seems able to connect to my A3. Let's say I want to set my heat or air conditioning timer. It must connect at that time. The app doesn't even save the new settings. And the app rarely connects. Never in my driveway or garage. The only reason why I haven't removed this app is hope that an update is coming to make it worthwhile.
App has become complely useless since the latest upgrade. Can no longer use any of the remote timers. Spend significant money on car and expect basic things like this to work as described...
As many others said, it doesn't update often so it defeats its purpose. Too bad Audi !

A poorly built and designed app.
Latest update has taken away the ability to set timers and remotely activate charging and aircon. The app's only use now is to view car's status. Some of the stats are of limited use, for example the miles/kWh. This is useful for purely electric driving but not for hybrid. For example, achieving 22 miles/kWh would be remarkable if not also using half a tank of petrol! Therefore a mpg stat would also be useful, as in the car's own on-board computer.
After the car is done charging the status never updates. Since last update now timers don't work at all.
Today Audi dealer had my A3 e-tron all day and managed to get it to talk to the portal via my computer. Apparently it had to be driven EXACTLY one mile then reset. It took 8 resets (disconnecting the car battery) before it worked. Audi technology eh?? Now I try using the etron app - surprise surprise, can't connect (incorrect id or pin). Waiting for a call from Audi. ....
Constantly PIN is wrong.. constantly
Compared to my other car app... This app will need plenty more work...Data is not accurate... Once all the bugs are fixed may i suggest add the lock door and close window feature just in case owners forget to lock and close up the windows especially when it suddenly rains... Come on Audi, you are better than this !!!
App says I need to register online but when I fill in my details the Web page just says "an error has occurred" with no indication of what the issue might be. No use at all.
An error has occurred. That's it. No way to use.
Says "Session Expired"... Then boots you out.
This new version updated itself only to display a splash screen. All functionality gone. Looks like yet another complaint call to Audi UK. If it was down to a server problem, there must be an issue with the architecture to impact so many users. Either that or poor QA.
App splash screen bug now fixed, but communication with car is still very temperamental. Frequently says last update was many hours ago and instructions to car (e.g. setting air con) fail to get through.
It's a bit better than the last time when the all didn't start up. But still it doesn't work well. After the update I can't use the start airco/heater function anymore. Right now the app is a nice gimmick.
Just got an E-tron a few days ago and was excited to use this app when I finally received my pin. I was able to log in fine then of all things I CANNOT view my car. Called Audi several times and finally they said they need to get in touch with Verizon regarding this. Very big disappointment
Worse than useless again. Has gone back to not being able to access system, usually first thing in morning when trying to turn heating on.
Doesn't always connect fully but more often than not really useful for turning on the heating /AC or checking how long left to change. Happy customer
No idea if it works at all because can't register my vehicle because VIN isn't recognised. Audi support no help after nearly 3 weeks. Updated today. Now app gets no further than front splash screen. Hopeless
After this morning's update the app simply shows a splash screen after PIN input. How can a company with Audi's reputation for quality get this app so badly wrong?!?
App is slow but works. Needs updating for new Android features. Biometric unlock instead of pin would be nice. Just overall faster interface would be nice.
