Audi MMI connect enables you to expand your local Media sources with a number of online Music-providers.
Once you are connected to your vehicle’s MMI Wi-Fi Network you can enjoy the following Audi connect services: • Webradio• Napster (for using Napster via Audi connect you need the Napster App and have a subscription at www.napster .com)
To use the Audi connect services please subscribe at myAudi (www.myaudi.com). The offered functions depend in part on interfaces to 3rd party suppliers. Thus the functionality and availability might vary from country to country. We recommend a broadband data connection with a corresponding data flat-rate, Costs might occur according to the contract with your local mobile network operator. Insufficient bandwidth of the data transfer might influence your user experience negatively. Please consider the bandwidth restrictions specific to your mobile network operator.

This new app no longer has DLNA functionality, which means that the MMI in the car is no longer able to stream music from the phone using just this app. You'll just get a "not connected" message on the MMI. Instead, you'll need to install a DLNA server on the phone too...and suddenly you'll be back up and running. Crazy that Audi doesn't even mention this removal.
Those Audi connect features just dont work. The only thing I managed to get working is the WiFi Media player. It can't even save the parking position. It always stores the position where I started my journey. And setting all the up is just a waste of time. Very sad that Audi building cars that can brake automatically but can't get an app programmed. I tried this on an 2015 A8 and 2018 A3 with Audi connect and none worked.
Very unstable. Keeps on running in the background and pops up very often as consuming memory- tried this in 3 android phones and noticed the same behaviour. Send destination to car feature always shows "successfully sent" and then throws an error "some problem occured". These are basic sanity use cases to be fixed even before an app is released on the playstore.
This app finally works with locking and unlocking my car (the previous app did not work) but now it keeps popping up as a app running in my background and a message in German (yes German!) appears with the app. I dont speak or read German and I have tried everything to turn it to English with no success. I probably wont use the app as much as the developers are expecting users to use it.
I use the app 3 years waiting before developers fix the only feature I need from this app is to send a destination address to the car. Never worked and looks like will never work. Can't understand why I've paid 4k for advanced navigation option which never works. I hope you will not make the same mistake, never buy audi MMI option
An useless app, lack of basic features and full of bugs. The user interface is not intuitive. I hope that Audi will improve and make the app useful for their customers.
App shell now. Just tells me to open the new myAudi app. Problem is that the new app loses a few features like Internet Radio and does not work well when sending addresses to it. I will uninstall this and revert to older version.
The new app which replaces this is terrible. Why would you replace the MMI app which was flawless and worked perfectly fine, and make people's lives more difficult for no apparent reason? Don't you have a test facility so you could find out yourself how terrible the new app is before your rollout it on play store? You are forcing us to use the new pathetic app which takes ages to update and keeps showing the wrong info and units. Why on earth you did this to us? The old app was perfect and had a simple layout which simply worked. Can you give us the Audi MMI app back and remove the new app from the Play store?
Would be minus rating if permitted. Took a perfectly reasonable but not great app and made it worse than useless. Just apart from anything else it constantly defaults to km.. Audi pull your finger out!
Horrible. Paying 50k on the car, and you get this nonsense. Always server error, cannot start the auxiliary AC, it drains the phone battery, sending address to the MMI is not working properly. Seriously, if I pay this much on a car, I would expect some quality check here..
It's now constantly crashing. I'm unable to upload destinations to my car. One good thing out of this, it makes the decision to not pay $30 monthly for Audi connect (my 6 Mos trial sub ends in a few days).
I would not have written to the developer just now if I read the reviews. App is terrible. Drains battery. Sometimes sends address to navigation and other times doesn't.
Was fine. Now superceded by an app that's not compatible with my device, so I have completely lost the functionality. Thanks Audi.
I have not been able to get this or Audi Connect to work properly since I bought the car. Audi Connect in my old Q5 worked so much better. This is useless.
This app was never great but at least it worked. Now it forces you to the new MyAudi app, which doesn't work with cars of my vintage... ... 2015! I asked the tech guy at my dealership about it the other day. Really Audi?
Sounds like this app used to be good...... The new myAudi app is utter garbage, I know from experience. Audi are clueless, so if tech integration is important to you, don't buy an Audi. Not being able to import POI's to your own vehicle is beyond a joke.
All the functionality destroyed with the latest update. Audio files streaming from the phone memory removed. Got to downgrade
Completely disappointed. Have waited a few months for some fixes to come out and nothing has changed. Want to use the app w my new RS3 but this app has not been functional yet! Fix it already!!
All this now is, is a link to an app that I can't download. This is very poor Audi. Surely you should publish the new app before redirecting to an app I can't download.
This is a textbook case of how brand image can be stained when board room decision makers do not understand what end users expect from a luxury car manufacturer ! Just because some one at VW group heard of another car maker coming up with an APP a purchase order worth 7 euros was released to a garage based developer. And behold this app was born. Makes me regret my car purchase. For the same price I should have gone to your German friend who does understand mobile connectivity :(
If this app has now been replaced, please remove it so people dont pointlessly install it only to be presented with a screen telling you to install the myAudi app instead. Annoying....
Audi has failed to provide a workable navigation interface. Really a bad app!!!!
Seriously! After installing this app, you are redirected to install the myaudi app. This one is no longer in use..
This app is literally useless. It looks fancy with its cool looking features but it rarely works when I need it. It's constantly turning on by itself and sending data in the background(as it claims) and draining the phone battery. I've been driving Audi for 8 years and really like it but I've had it with this non- functional app and deleting it now :-(
