The Book of Revelation was written by the Apostle John between 95 and 96 A.D while he was in exile on the Isle of Patmos. This is the last chapter of the New Testament and the last book in the Bible.
The Apostle John wrote the Book of Revelation when an angel appeared before him bringing revelation from Jesus Christ which God gave to show the people of the age and the age to come the events that would take place.
The vision that the Apostle John received are apocalyptic, prophetic, and symbolic and figurative about what would soon take place.
