Audio Bible Niv Free

This app is an essential part of my almost everyday! I am very thankful for it being an available resource to me and others. When listening to the different chapters through the different books in the bible, as you scroll along the app, it holds your place until your return to that book so you keep your place easier. I recommend this app to anyone trying to grow in their faith and chase after Christ through the word of God!!

This app is great. The audio portion is clear. Different voices are used when appropriate. There is no over dramatization with music and dramatic vocals. It's easy to navigate and move to the portions that you're interested in or rewind to hear them again. The app gives you a visual bible to read along with the audio. I often turn this app on when going to bed so that I can fall asleep to it.

I'm a simple person. I wanted to start listening to the word on tape and when I looked up this app it seems straightforward until I downloaded it and was flooded with ads. and also, if you grab a Bible and open up the first page you'll find the first book followed 2, 3 etc. It should be that simple when you're looking up an audible as well. but the first book on Audible was Chronicles. I realize things aren't free but I'm not going to share audible time with commercials or fragmentation of books

I think you can learn a lot from the King James app. I like everything about it except the language. The NIV speaks my language and I am able to understand better, but when I want to find a particular scripture that I don't remember the book or verse, you give us NOTHING.. This app needs a type of Correspondence so we can easily find a particular verse.

I like this App a lot! I really do. BUT... I signed up to receive a daily bible verse and instead I have been receiving Tons of notifications on my phone about Random other things, not at all related to the bible. I have Really tried to figure out how to cancel this or turn it off, but I Cannot find that option anywhere. Can someone please help me? I do not want to continue getting advertisements basically in notifications all day long.

Audio quality is fine. Biggest problem is that it stops if anything happens on my phone, text, email, any operation causes the app to stop playing. I have to manually re-starl it,and it starts over at the beginning of the chapter every time. Not very helpful.

Hearing the bible being read, as I am reading it, adds to the stories and dimensions of the bible. It brings the pages to life. Hearing the words Jesus spoke to his apostles, before he was crucified, makes the bible seem more alive, with feeling and emotions. If anyone has a difficult time staying focusd, while reading The Word...I recommend using this app as well.

It is easy for me to remind myself of the verses I memorized since my childhood. Because NIV is the version of my memory verses ever since. This audio Bible helps me so much to continue hearing the Word even while doing other things. Congrats to the guys who are on the audio. Voices are great. Thank you so much. Blessings to all of you.

Thank you for this app! I wish I could close it and then pick up where I left off later. Can I put the old testament index in a list as in the Bible instead of alphabetically? Can it move to next book when one is finished when you're listening? Thanks again!

All of Exodus is messed up. Previously I noted a chapter w/garbled audio. As you go on, the chapter displayed does not match the audio. Also I find as I go along (just happened in Numbers 15 for example) a chapter will be incomplete- stopping short and jumping to the next chapter.

A function that would let you put the bible in biblical order would nice but it's still an amazing app. The different voices, though a tad silly, are more helpful then would think. It makes keeping up with whom is speaking in the passage a lot easier for a new reader.

Constant ad pop ups from this app when it's not even open. I will be watching YouTube or listening to music and it will pause what I am doing to show me an ad that's not even Bible related. After about the 10th time my audio book stoped for a Disney ad from this app, I have decided to uninstall.

Your bible app is a mainstay for me when I haven't time to read the Bible. I'm an audio learner and play these when I'm driving or on a walk. I press "repeat song" to hear it again and ground God's Words in my heart. Very grateful for this free app! When I worship (sing songs of praise to God in a private place), it is such a sweet time and thanks to your app, more of His word comes back to me in guidance and instruction for the next step.

Voices are nice. Proverbs was read way too fast for my taste. For basic listening, I like the way it proceeds from book to book. I could not figure out how to look up one specific Scripture, only by chapters. That might be my fault.

I wish the Bible reading would go to the next chapter without stopping, but it stops at end of each chapter & you have to go back & start the next chapter to continue listening. It's very inconvenient to do this all the time. I hope they will correct this problem other wise I like it.

Excellent app! The speakers read through the passages clearly and at just the right speed, I feel. I also like the fact that there's a main voice actor narrating and then others take over when quotes are included in that scripture portion.

I love the fact that there is music and other voices. The expression of the narrator is excellent, the names of the people just roll off of his tongue with such eloquence. Thank you so much.we are elderly and have a hard time reading. Such a blessing!

I love this app.... I wish you would have all the Biblical chapters in order (in the old testament), like you do in the New Testament. Also, When you come to the end of all the chapters, that they would continue to the next book. It use to do that,but now it doesn't, PLEASE bring it back!!! Lastly... I like how the old testament, plays music, and the different character voices... that represent each different person in the Bible...Like..When GOD speaks, Someone talks, if it is a woman speaking a woman speaks, etc... It is not the narrator all through out .The whole Bible should be like this...(Not just the Old Testament) It makes the Audio Bible, more enjoyable, and interesting. Thank You, Julie 😊

the audi books are no in chronologic order. I can not select a book to read it and go straight to it. I will be good to have a feature that allow you to high light and take notes

Very usefully. It is always good to hear the word of the Lord. The reading is very clear and in a speed good enough to allow some meditation, but not enough to get impacient.
