The American Standard Version (ASV) is a revision of the most famous English Bible: King James Version. ASV was released in 1901 and sometimes is called the "Standard Bible" because of its importance in seminaries.
The ASV was the basis of other famous revisions of the Bible such as the Amplified Bible, Revised Standard Version, New American Standard Bible, World English Bible and The Living Bible.

The Bible is a compilation of 66 books divided into two main parts: the Old and the New Testament. Each book contains chapters and verses. There are 23.145 verses in the Old Testament and 7957 verses in the New Testament.
The books are:
Old Testament:
- Books of the Law (or Pentateuch): Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy.
- Historical Books: Joshua, Judges, Ruth, First Samuel, Second Samuel, First Kings, Second Kings, First Chronicles, Second Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther.
- Poetry books (or The Writings): Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon.
- Books of the Prophets: Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, Malachi.
New Testament:
- The Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke, John.
- Act of the Apostles
- The Epistles:
Paul's Epistles: Romans, 1 Corinthians,2 Corinthians , Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians, 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon, Hebrews.
General Epistles: Hebrews, James, 1 Peter, 2 Peter, 1 John, 2 John, 3 John, Jude.

Audio stops when screen is closed..
I dont know its from my settings that the moment my screan goes off, the audio also stopped.. Pls fit it for better outstanding 5 stars. Thank you
Have learnt a lot from this app and it's helped me to understand the bible so much....the audio part is also very helpful
This app was inspired from above. It fulfills the scripture that says "faith comes by HEARING... the word of God" (Rom. 10:17) to the letter. And it does it soooooo well. There will always be a room for improvement. So, I am asking the developers to make it possible for us to pause the read, meditate on it, and continue. Even without that, I'm doling out a 5-star rating because it is not easy to have given this much to us free and ad-free.
It's a great app but I would love a few adjustments. Let the app have feature to put the chapter on repeat and to continue reading chapters till told to stop. And I'll love it to also play while I do other things with my phone too. It's a good app. Please make some adjustments to make it great. Thanks.
Very ok But if the app can play the audio in chapters. It will be nice and unique. I noticed that after listening to a particular chapter, i need to click on the next before it can resume playing again. Thank you in anticipation that this feedback will noted
can make more better, by adding image options, as for me loved it, very useful, when I don't feel like reading or bcoz of eye problem I don't read, this app really helped, with audio option & what more, works offline. wonderful. thank you so much for this app.
I enjoy listening to the Bible on this app. I can hear it real good and its understandable. If I needed to go back, I was able to replayed the whole chapter to make sure I knew what it said. I found the time webt by fast. I listened while I was eating. I listened to every word to make sure I understood. I read along with the paragraphs to really understand. I really haven't found anything bad about this app. Thank you so much as I want listening to the Bible to change my life this year.
You can't stop it when once it starts reading, except it comes to the end of the chapter, why? Again, the app can't read continuously from one chapter to the next(stops at the end of each chapter). That's bad! Pls, do something about it ASAP.
Very very good. All audio available offline. Just the audio reading stops at the end of each chapter. Could you please let it continue to the next and on
Generally, this is a good application with highlighting and speed control functions but once it starts reading, the audio can not be paused or rewound. That's a bit frustrating 😣
Good...yet to see more of it and then i may give full stars if it gives me what a desire.
I give it a four star because it is nearly perfect nice audio. But i would really love it if the audio doesn't start from the begining each time i psuse a passsge. Aside that it's a great App
Convenient for times of relaxation and inability to use the eyes due to poor eyesight.
If you give voice options. Then I would so happy with this. And also somtime doesn't stop when audio bible reading is going on. There is a another mod of female voice kindly fix that that's very soft for me. Tq so much for developing.
i have been looking for an app like this for a while now. thank God I found this. it's just that it will help me better if it is a continuous play from chapter to chapter because I love sleeping with the word of God playing and filling the atmosphere. this i have to manually play the next chapter. all the same thank you for your efforts God bless you
Very interesting app The only thing is that you have to restart the reading when you stopped it, nevertheless it remains very useful for all categories. Thank you to the team who conceived it.
I like the app because it is really offline audio but I hope it will automatically read the next chapter and also, if that happens there must be a TIMER on it to make it more convenient. Anyway, Thanks for making this app

Very easy to use and just let it play. I usually listenten to at least 1 or 2 chapters from the Old Testament and more of the new because it speaks more to me other than Psalms and Provebs. But I also used other Bibles to teach me more of the Old Testament of God's Word. Thank you for this app!! It helps me more than you know. Lisa Bless you for sharing tgis program.
A automated woman's voice, but you can adjust it's speed and tone. That being said the best automated woman's voice I have heard. Great offline version.
I loved the app because you can vary the speech rate of reading by the app! But when a chapter is read, you have to pick the next chapter before the reading could continue! Why not program it to be authomatic? Thanks.
