I love this app!! I've enjoyed using it while walking about. although I scared the hell out of myself, I listened to perduaded very early in the morning heading to work (4.30am) I have to walk through a dimly lit alley way with only a skip one end and a homeless man on the other, right as the 'zombies' found the man I heard a bang by the skip. Nope I've heard enough of these things by now and I just ran, no turning around just sprinted away. but I love it! We need more stories loaded on!!
So, upon starting the app you're greeted with instant stories. However, as you get into the 20+ stories, you're always having to tap to download the next one. Every once in a while it might say there's no internet/cellular data but it should. Overall, would recommend it minus the flaws listed above.
Very Good stories! I really enjoy this app and look forward to my bedtime story. The only thing is I wish most were a bit longer. 10-20 minutes is good. The 2-5 minutes are so short. It's not that bad though. Great app, I'd recommend getting it!! =) Update: Still loving this app! Love, love, love voice narrator. The best audio book voice I've heard bar none. PLEASE add more stories!!!
This used to be my favorite audio app on the play store because it was completely free and all the creepypastas were free, all you had to do was download them. You can pay a 'one time fee' and have the premium version which isn't expensive, but having it all free is what made this app special. It doesn't even have all the stories!! It had over 100, now there's only 50, maybe. I guess greed got the best of you. I know you have to make money but C' mon man
Absolutely love this app I've used it for a long time, unlikely to stop. However there is a small bug that I really hope gets fixed soon: the Controll section that shows up on the notifications tab always appears even if the app isn't open which can be mildly annoying. Once again I love this app keep it up!!
I haven't explored the app at all really .. I installed it and started listening for a few hours and was entertaining enough to keep me from my own thoughts for a while which was priceless and worth 5 stars for that reason alone - So this isn't a totally useless review, the app continues to work while ur screen is off, also while checking or sending messages etc.
This app is A.M.A.Z.I.G.!!!!!! I LOVE IT!! I HIGHLY recommend this to all readers/listeners. I love reading stories, and for some odd reason I thought this app would give me stories to read. But then once I opened it I could see that I didn't get to read, they read it for me. I was really not liking that (sense most narrators kinda sounded like a robot and only made the stories sound bad) but the narrator they have for these stories ACTUALLY makes it sound even better!! I recommend %100!!
I absolutely love this app instead of me having to read every detail, I like it because it feels like I'm being told a story by an actual person. Although the Darkman story even though it was good, I don't like the part where it's the same guy using his voice as two people, it should have been an actual woman or girl. By the way do something about these stupid ads or I'm removing the app! >:(
It's very well done. One story was not read by the same guy and he wasn't very good. The house of rules was really effective for freaking me out..(mostly due to the fact that my phone kept freezing and pausing at the parts about punishment.) Hopefully that doesnt happen continuously. Some stories you can tell are first time writers..some have a nack for it..but over all..good selection
pretty good stories, i enjoy being able to play them in the background. downside is that the app crashes a lot and when i open it back up, i have to go digging to find the last stoty i was listening to, then guess approximately how far in the story was.
everything is fantastic about this app! only one issue that drives me crazy is the fact that if you're not using WiFi downloading any story seems impossible 😠example; the Ronald McDonald HOUSE story keeps downloading half way and tells me to re-download it again. then if I'm using WiFi it's fine.
they need to load more stories. Ive heard all of these several times after having the app for less than 2 weeks. also some of the stories repeat. The laughing added after happy puppet sydrom and from that point on is hella annoying. I use this app as a visually impaired person and found it wonderful until i realized just how short of a time it takes to go through all of these
It's really good. A few adds here and there, but works perfectly offline! The accents are really good, especially the first person to voice the stories. Overall, I enjoyed this and I don't think it'll be deleted any time soon
The app itself is good. sometimes the download feature doesn't work. The most annoying thing I've found is the app keeps popping up in my push notifications even when I haven't used it in several days. force stopping the app doesn't help either.
Yes. This is a amazing app just wish some of them weren't premium because I miss them being available and I have recommended this app to my friends and the really enjoy falling asleep to them they said they cant sleep without them and they are glad they are all good stories like the bath game and ETC. But I really hope that you can please put more of the premium ones to be available and also the one story "a knock on the window" I think its messed up bc it used to be long now its stops at 3min
great voice acting and tons of stories, best app I've found for listening to creepy stories so hopefully they keep updating because I can't find free ones that actually have audio Edit: got to the end, over 130 stories ranging from 1 min long all the way up to 20, average was probably 5-10 min long, for FREE.
These stories are great and the storyteller is fantastic. My only criticism is the writing isn't brilliant. I've heard phrases such as "a pair of two eyes stared back at me" (a pair is two!!), and the tenses aren't always consistent. I'm not by any means an English scholar, but even I can tell that they haven't been properly proof read
Some really good stories. The narrators are great but definitely need a female added to their crew especially when the story is told from a female pov. One other complaint, I paid for the lifetime premium service and though it did unlock all the premium stories, it is lacking in new content. Not one in the past few weeks. I don't mind paying but want to get my moneys worth too. 7.99 is a lot for something I can get on the internet basically for free. So step up and lets scare me anew.
