Audio Game: Wizard's Choice

Overall a good game, but could better. Voice acting is good, but should have had a younger person's voice, based on the characters. Unlike the text version, you can't use luck to improve your chances. I noticed one error in the voice response to one of my choices, and the final totals seem to be bugged, assigning me to a lower category than my score indicated.

I never even knew audio games existed! I was looking for an interactive fiction game and the audio version is an added bonus. A well-written Tale with much humor and just enough quirks in the story line to keep it very interesting, intriguing and especially enjoyable! Off to find more by this author and, I hope, in audio format too.

So not through it yet but there isn't the same achievement unlocks as in the text based app. Also the voice choice doesn't work all the time but it is a very good feature. And there is only Wizards choice 1 and 2 available at the moment. I hope more will be available soon.

It is a pretty darn good version of your flagship game. The voice actor (I forget your name sir, please forgive me) quickly dropped his over enunciation and slow pace and became very "Roy Dotrice" like. Impressive. A shame it was too time intensive. Maybe at a later date it could be "reanimated". If you like this, and like to read, try -D&D Style Choice Game- Really has the old school TSR choose your own adventure magic.

Perfectly entertaining. One minor flaw, tho. It seems the volume changes a wee bit. I found myself raising the volume after every choice or new scene but never lowering. Fix that and I will give 5 stars and a ticker tape parade!!

I've loved the Wizard's Choice series when I read them for the first time a year or so ago and couldn't have asked for a more amazing voiced version! I loved the narrator, and the controls. Seriously, well done for promising great things, and delivering.

Had no errors with Mana or voice input. Very fun to re-live this story in audio form, the voice acting was on point. The only suggestion I could add would be to add some more contrasting colours for the buttons to make the choices stand out a bit more from the background

Audio games are rare. I've been pretty ill lately, and lying in bed is boring, but I feel too weak to play video games or even watch movies. So I just turn off the lights, relax and play this hilarious and fun adventure. It is somewhat short though, so I hope they keep making sequels.

Ok I love these games and it was an awesome audio version but the audio kept turning itself up and down. And I feel a bit insulted they are charging 3$ for the next one even though I purchased the full package on the original for 30$ which is pricey for any app regardless of everything within the game...

This game is wonderful, the sound effects of the voices the background noises really immersive you into the game. The fact that I'm legally blind and that the game is designed so that I can still play this game it's absolutely wonderful I have definitely purchased Wizards Choice 2 and if there were other games like this I can definitely see me purchasing more of them

I LOVE this story and even more as an audio book! It's very well read, great voices, funny and great fun too. Perfect if you are in the gym and want to be entertained while working out. I really hope they do all this series and the others like this. Well recommended. Bravo to the Voice Artist too!

Fun and engaging, careful which choices you make. Only thing missing is a soundtrack in the background and some sound effects to make it more immersive. Overall 10/10 will recommend!

A great way to play such a type of game! Always loved choose your own adventure type games, and doing it with audio works marvelously! The actor is great too. A few bugs remain, but what a neat idea, would love more of this type of game

I admit it, I am a read-peat offender! This game is so fun and functions in all ways like a dream! I can only hope and dream that there will be another and another to complete this story series as I have read it, and it remains one of my favorite of all the Delight series CYOA books. I would also be interested in the Zombie series as an audio adventure! 😍😎

It was really fun. Replayed many times to see all the outcomes of the variety of choices. Well written and the voice actor was entertaining. Please, make more of these. My family and I loved it!

Awesome choose your own adventure! All the games by DelightGames are excellent, but this audio version plays in the background (or with the screen off) and lets you respond via verbal commands. I can play while multi-tasking (like web or social media surfing) or play it in bed with the lights out (to wind down) or even play handsfree (while painting my warhammer minis). Saweet!

Absolutely the most awesome thing ever in history! The narrator did an extraordinary job in all aspects, that dude is a freakin' hero. --- My only complaint is that I can't find the donate button! Lol.

This is such a cute little game, it's very engaging, but the Mic could be more sensitive as it misses some words, and moving pictures from your choices would be nice, but otherwise it's great.

I can't get the audio selection to work. I want to respond by talking because I am in the tub. But it doesn't beep and doesn't hear me. I double check to make sure that everything is enabled. It just doesn't work on my Chromebook.

Good voice acting and an engaging story. This game is lots of fun to play during a long car ride. Could maybe use a 1.5x speed option. I hope more of this company's games get the audio treatment.

I have read "Wizards Choice" in the past & really liked it but this audio version was sooo much more convenient. This was my first audio & I absolutely love it! I truelly hope u guys continue with this!! Great voice acting btw...

Best game to play during the long commute. I wish there were more like this one! If you love audiobooks and you like interactive fiction this is the game for you! Please make some more!

I played through this a few years ago and it was fun. It doesn't always recognize the voice input properly (may not be configured for non American accents).

Great story, greatly told. The voice control doesn't always work, but you can control it via screen just fine.
