this is perfect as a tool, but the interface isn't too intuitive. maybe a short tutorial? I didn't know I could change the frequencies available until I had a dig around the settings, and even then i had to go into both things to change the settings for it. it's fine for someone like me, but if a kid on a college course dl'd this they'd get bored in a second. "sft" was very simple, and that's why it worked. stick with the 32 band eq, don't reduce it as standard.
Could someone explain what equalization mode is and how to get it to work, because all it does for me is molest my ears with ridiculously loud buzzing, and regardless of what I do it plays the exact same noise for each frequency. I've even tried different headsets. Also, I dont really find ghe other mode entirely useful as simply recognizing frequencies isnt helpful in the music world, while I do know some frequency to note conversions, the note names would be much more valuable to identify.
Simple but extremely useful training tool for learning to recognise by ear the frequency of boosts and cuts. Good customisation settings, and I like that you can use any audio file. Obviously it's only aimed at those who will find this useful such as those learning to mix audio!
The feedback training was almost exactly what I was looking for and it works great. One piece of feedback would be to ensure that a new frequency is chosen everytime/no repeats, it makes my statistics higher than they should be
So far it's doing what I expected which is allowing me to pick which frequencies to train to and allowing me to train. It also does extra and allows you to use songs to show the differences between frequencies. That's very useful.
Does what it says. 5 octaves from 500Hz. I was looking for an app that could do 1/3 octave bands on a bigger scale. But nonetheless good for a quick, easy exercise.
Dude. The ad totally covers the play button, leaving it just about two pixels that's unfair play. Also, the sound isn't always playing. Sometimes it does and sometimes it is just playing roulette.
So far so good! I'm learning audio mastering and the drills certainly help me identify these frequencies. I haven't tried some of the other features, but if my opinion changes, I'll update it here.
I like the and app and the way it works, but the recorded tones are not pure and show distortion - perhaps through poor compression or aliasing. I have noticed that something it doesn't play a tone yet thinks it has.
This seems to be a practical application for learning to distinguish among frequencies listeners can hear in the auditory spectrum. I greatly appreciate the effort behind the app but hesitate to rate it any higher until I've spent some real time with it. Unfortunately, the app has asked me to rate it immediately and to give it five stars. IMO, this only encourages poor and uninformative reviews. Slow down and earn a good report!
Awesome app. Use it repetitively to train you frequency sensitivity. Will definitely help you memorizethe frequencies so you can then make eq decisions with your ears rather than with your eyes. Ailerons, just awesome.
there are apps you pay for that are far worse, this is the best I've found. all the others you end up listening to the same loops a million times, but this one you can load any sound file. I'm addicted.
Sound just stopped working. I even uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck. The few minutes I got to use this it seemed okay but there's only 2 simple exercises and it would get boring very fast.
A great app. Does what it's supposed to. My only complaint is that it gets too repetitive with a few frequencies and ignores others may times. Fix that and it will be 5 stars.
I think It's best for beginners....almost perfect and on point trainings...must download the app specially the beginners...just need to improve your display and try to add some dark theme please... thanks!!
Good interface and intent for exercises, feedback training working well for me, not sure I understand how to use eq or maybe the sample sound isn't working.
From the first few exercises, it seems to train quite well and the patterns for recall help to train the ear as advertised. Pretty useful app. Quite fun too!
Intuitive but unreliable from moment to moment. Sometimes the feedback trainer plays the sound and sometimes its just silent. I run this Android app on an LG G7 phone. Chrome is my browser.
Honestly this little app is perfect for keeping your ears sharp. I jump into it multiple times a day to stay fresh.
I really enjoy the feedback training where you identify frequencies within the frequency spectrum. I am confused though on how the Equalization section works. Why is there a distorted sound and then the frequency? I appreciate you help.
Pretty straightforward and a good place to start when trying to train your ears to recognize different frequencies.
Great app only thing I could want is to have the frequencies laid out horizontally in an eq band arrangement instead of the square buttons.
Really great app. Especially the part where you can import your own music and run the training.
started making improvement after just a few games so obviously it helps. started out getting 2 out of 20 on the first game and now on game three I'm getting almost 8. I've just started so it seems good
Excellent app. A flawless masterpiece on playstore. One of a kind, compared to other audio apps. Devs please don't change anything
This app seems to be pretty good and I would recommend it to people who would like to train their ears to help spot different frequencies.
Took me a while to figure out how to do it as at first i was using a song but i think that was to set the eq up then the beeps actually train your ear. Congrats on the child!
Helpful. However the tone often doesn't play over Bluetooth on my Moto G6 plus, forcing me to quit and reload the app. 5 stars if fixed.
Hello dear developers. Very nice app here. I like it. It is a good training. I had used EarPlugins 'Tune' for a while and it greatly helped for my EQing and overall mixing abilities. Now I can do it on my phone too. :) I have two improvement requests. It might be hard to do but the ability to apply the EQing to the Android sound output would be really great. That way I could train while listening to new stuffs on the web. I would also really appreciate a chromatic frequencies mode (based on 440Hz). Cheers!
