Audiobook Player for Spotify
You will finally be able to listen to audio books on Spotify without having to worry about losing your play position.

INFO: At the moment we are experiencing some problems with the Spotify playback. I'm currently testing a new version that manages playback via the Spotify app which would mean less data volume(if album is downloaded) and no trouble with network outages.
The test version is now available in the public beta channel. Everybody can join the beta test via the play store.
I hope to release the new version on the 29th january for everybody.

This app will let you search for audio books and then listen to them. Even if you will listen to music in Spotify your progress on your audio book will not be lost. Just come back to this app and continue where you left of.
I'm myself and avid listener to audio books and was surprised to see that no one has developed an app like this before. Being a developer I started this project which is still in beta but has served me already many months to keep the progress on my audio books.
- Connect the app to your Spotify premium account
- Search for audio books in the Spotify catalog
- Listen to the audio books, your position will be continuously saved

Does not remember correct position. Also shows an annoying notification which doesn't disappear at all...

Is there a way to change speed of the audio?
I keep getting an error message saying "can't initialise Spotify web player" have forced close and reinstalled but still getting the same error message. I'd really like to use this app is there's a fix available. I'm on Android. 25/6/19 edit: thanks for this suggestion! I updated chrome and the player is working great now! thank you!
