Pretty ok. Getting the Pro version isn't hard but it doesn't offer much more. Using the app on Android and I've seen people can import videos and make audios off of that. Kinda pressed that the feature isn't for Android. It just seems unfair, especially since some can't afford an iPhone. That's why I'm giving the app 2 stars and not 3 or 4. I will update if the feature gets added to Android.
Great app! It's a super handy tool for transcribing. It's really easy to loop individual sections, which is 90% of what I need it to do. It looks like a lot of people are complaining because this doesn't work with videos, and I guess that would be a nice feature, but audio only is totally fine with me. You could easily just export the audio from the video and import it into AudioStretch.
Actually a really insanely well produced app. But... The restrictions to the user's ability to save your files without paying is really rather resticting. At first I saw the pitch and speed limit and was completely fine with it because it's finely crafted.(I also was concidering paying for the use of unlimited pitch/speed) But it won't let me save files for free, the app within the 15 minutes of using it went from "high hopes" to "Oh..." I'll pay for pitch. Not saving files. Please change way
I heard many great things about this app, but I was disappointed when I found out that stretching the videos only works for Iphones/Apple devices and I can only use a very small selection of audio files to play audio with. It would be smart if you go ahead and look into the Android version of this app and fix it. You could increase the number of downloads and increase 5-star reviews by doing this.
I've had this app for a while now, but didn't know its usefulness until today when l got to understand the meaning of one semi-tone. A good to use for getting the 12 semi-tones of a sound or group of sounds and great adjustment features. Only he or she that know, knows.
I love the app. But I would like to be able to export a video. Like the I phones can do. Can you please add that And been using AudioLab. So I can make my videos become Audio. Just so I can edit with it. Witch is annoying. If you can't export a video. Can you at least add so we can export the audio sound from a video?
This is perfect for me. I was struggling for days to pick out all the notes when transcribing a guitar solo. This was so intuitive to use that I had the answers I needed within a few seconds.
If the scale or tempo was applied to the same parts as we select in this application, then it would have worked exactly like tuning. I would like to suggest to the bandlab team that these settings should be applied only on the selection parts, and the option of formant shift should be provided
Update: sadly the app doesn't seem to be actively updated or improved, and coming on 2 years without new releases. Almost perfect. Clean and to the point. 2 waveforms - priceless. Only wish was it was a bit easier on the eye with more themes and offered a loop start delay. Thanks developers!
I wish there was a small demo or a 30 day try out for the full use of the app. Instead it gives very little use of the tools in it and tells you to pay $10 dollars just to add extra pitch and speed. Plus it doesn't export my projects to my device's files. I totally regret buying it and I want my money back.
With all my respect and my opinion about this app is sure not only use for Audio/Music editing or etc, it just also hilarious able to play with the audio on live!(Like edit pitch, speed without need to stop the audio) I've been having lot of fun laughing playing audio back and forward and really got me laughing! Really hope we have access to play videos soon which is the feature that I can't really wait for it to be in it and play with it aswell!
I really wanted to play around with this and sadly found out video support is exclusive to apple ofc. I really feels like the developers don't appear to even care about porting video to Android. The last time this was updated was 2019 and people have been asking for video support for months. Don't waste your time with something that doesn't seem to care for Android users.
Too complicated to add videos from YouTube to audio stretch and it would get a better rating if it works and I don't really know the controls and it did seem worthless and a waste of time Just to know downloading the App for nothing just and If you guys update it. I'm still not going to Download it because it's a waste of time.
I love Audio Stretch. It's working OK. I think it needs a TalkBack screen reader improvements. I am the visually impaired community.
I honestly love this app because it makes it sooo easy to convert videos into audio, just go to your gallery and "share" your video and it'll say multiple apps to share to and it should say "AudioStretch".
This is gonna change my life. So I am starting out at transcribing And after installing this I transcribed a song within 10-20mins (chords) The song was realtivily easy but this app helped me transcirbe the somg really precisely. And I am really thankful to the makers. One suggestion from me would be adding equlizer in order to somwhat separate the mix. cause sometimes things get lost in the mix and then slowness doesn't work. Cheers to the makres and Goodluck.
I was looking forward to import actual videos into this app, but then I learn it's only possible to import audio files, unlike the IOS version of the app, which apparently supports videos. It is okay to use but it just isn't the same...
The app is phenomenal and really funny, but I really want to be able to import the videos when I import the audio. Please update this to where Android users can upload videos as well and the app will be a lot better for the general audience that uses this app on android devices.
i mean, you can stretch audio. and thats about it. though most of the time it wont let you import any audio files, and the fact that you cant import videos on android is definitely frustrating. has a lot of potential though
This is straight an honest review i would of gave this app 10☆s if it was possible.. but just on the soul fact that you only have a 3 min audio time frame is ridiculous!! I mean i can understand the cant change the pitch past 3 unless u upgrade. I mean wants to make money from their work.. but can't go pass 3 min of audio time?? That's just greedynes and bad salesmanship.. if the audio time frame is ever changed. Ill give a 5☆ and praise the app. But until then uninstalled just on principle..
This is by far the Best Audio making app i've ever downloaded!!!! I aways had trouble finding apps that help getting me audio that i can use for making videos by having were when you click "share" on a video with audio and edit than download it for your needs 😊😊😊.
This is a fantastic app.... If you are on iphone. A simple warning that 80% of all features are iphone only would have been nice. A lot of people here want the video import or at least SOME of the settings but even those are iphone only. The settings menu shows options that aren't there when you open their respective tab. (As a reply to the dev comment, once features from iphone are brought over this is easily a five star app)
This is really well designed and I'm glad it's a thing. But the lack of functionality on Android makes it near unusable. Great design, just needs to be improved. Give us the apple features and it's an instant 5 stars
I don't understand what's going on with the Google Play Store and why my reviews are being reset, but this app is really great and, oddly enough, not very common in the audio industry (at least in my experience with plugins & DAW's, apart from Adobe Audition & other video softwares)
I'm only giving this a 3 star for now, due to that I am on moto phone (moto e5 play) and I cannot seem to get to import actual video(s) and it's/their audio. When you get the chance to settle this thing and fix it, I'll give full 5 or 4 star. If you can't fix this problem due to the performance, its perfectly okay! Thank you. -13rax, AKA: Anessa Brewer.
From practicing to transcribing, sussing out original or other music it's... Well, like everything else from bandLab, it goes beyond expectations. Other similar apps with functionalities like AudioStretch are littered with ads. Zero ads!
It's a really good app. I think it's really cool, don't get me wrong. The only thing is, is that I see so many people on TikTok using the video import, and when I opened the app, I couldn't find it anywhere. If it's possible is it possible to navigate me to it, or if it's not added yet, please add it? Thanks.
This app does the job if you're a music transcriber. I use it to figure out what chords/notes are being used thanks to the handy piano visualizer on the top; However, there are some features that are essential for a mobile app that are missing. My gripe is with the size of the piano visualizer. Because it's showing all 88 keys, it's really small. I can't tap on the piano that well due to my screen size (or maybe my big fingers.) I just want you to be able to resize the piano in any way. I was thinking you could have the ability to swap the audio visualizer with the piano one. Other than that this app works flawlessly and I look forward to seeing future updates.
