Great app. Some bits could do with a bit of work. You should add instructions or a tutorial for new users to get to know the interface. Also the word wrapping in some of the settings has failed resulting in broken words. Plus pulling up the bottom panel causes a lot of lag. Maybe make it so you tap on the two lines and it automatically extends to the middle of the screen. As I say, it's a great app.
Good app as far as it goes. I am building tuned struck instruments. Tuning is a 'B'. Unfortunately the apparent 12Hz bins do not provide sufficient resolution. According to the description in the Pro offering, it only extends the resolution down to 3Hz. No technical description, so no way to tell if you have implemented decimation in the Pro version. Sticking with Spectroid for now.
I like it but it would be extremely helpful if you could run analysis on both the audio file going to the speakers and what the microphone is picking up at the same time. On the computer you can switch back and forth but on andriod it can only seem to do microphone.
Excellent spectrum analyzer! The visualizations are well designed, showing a lot of information while remaining easy on the eyes. A+
Overall a great quick simple app for analyzing audio. Should get more attention. I love how it handles the frequency peaks and it does it way better than Spectroid.
I would really like to see a pink noise calibration or something similar so I can be sure what my phone mic is picking up. Other than that, really great app so far! Also looks like it hasn't been updated in almost 2 years...
The app is really fun but I'm giving it three stars because I'm disappointed about not being able to record sound when I use my screen recorder. The app will not allow screen recorders to record the audio along with the visual.
I got this app to tune my 3D printer FEP. It was perfect right out the gate. It gave me the frequency values right there on the sound curve without needing to do any setup. You might consider publicizing this app on 3D printer communities if you haven't already.
Finally I found a spectrum analyzer just for my needs. Performance and accuracy for analog audio R&D, still convenience and ergonomics for live audio. Thank You very much.
Excellent visualization and averaging options. One of the few free RTAs with octave averaging. This was a must for adjusting my speakers. Thank you!
Installed this for tuning my Subwoofer volume. Worked well. And good for generally understanding and analyzing the spectrum of your audio setup and different songs
Something is very wrong I plugged in a mic but no sound so you lied about that. I've clicked on every sample rate and nothing I turned up the volume on my phone and still no sound, so if there's supposed to be sound then I do I accomplish that because I'm getting nothing so I'll I'm doing is just saying what my phone is doing, I see the spikes just no sound so how do I get it
good, possibly great at one time. i contemplated purchase, then noticed it has been over 4 years since last update. ABANDONED apps should be free.
I could not make this thing work no matter how i adjusted the settings or what i did, so im going on a hunch that to get the working version you have to buy it, so then why bother with this waste of time unless there is something im doing wrong
Looks decent, but my phone (OnePlus7T) went really hot on the screen when I used this app for a while (something between 4-7minutes).
Great quality for a free app. Thank you so much for not adding adware to it!! Your appreciated!
Would be really helpful if there were an explanation of what I'm looking at. What's the red line? What's the green line, for example.
Helped me find the source of a high pitched whine in my house I couldn't locate by ear. Thank you!
Excellent tool for audio. Thank you for creating this.
Used it to tune the FEP on my Anycubic Photon 3d printer! Worked great!
My favourite spectrum app. Simple and to the point.
Great visualization for ambient mic on your phone.
It's pretty good. So good, I decided to get the pro versions.
Extremely fast and very efficient.
would be even better if there was a 'zero' button that let's you make the noise floor not part of the visulization
Good app, use it for fun in various situations. Feature request: calibration. My phone is detecting a significant and constant "internal noise" even in the quitest places. Would it be possible for a user to "record" the average of that noise and subtract it from the curve (and subsequently spectrum)? I don't think that would be a difficult feature to implement, but it would make the results so much cleaner.
