To make gesture recognition better,
- It is recommend to edit the gestures based on your priority.
- Select a feasible sensitivity of gesture on home(Go to AUG L Settings -> Home).
This app uses the Device Administrator permission - ONLY FOR LOCK SCREEN BY USING SWIPE/GESTURE ACTION.
Because of some Android policy update, it is not possible to retrieve the unread count of SMS and MISSED CALLS

I've used this for awhile now, and really like it. I like it for its simplicity, first of all. I don't make use of all the features, but I do really like the guest user feature. Very quickly you can switch to guest user, which can be set up to restrict access to certain apps. It's great if you need to share a phone with someone, or are concerned about someone being nosy. One thing, I wish you could manually arrange apps in the app drawer.
I've used so many launchers and finally fell in love 😍 with Microsoft, I had to use it on all my devices until I came across AUG launcher. AUG launcher houses everything that it promises in the description. The feature I love most is the gesture, but one down side of it is that one needs to minimize everytime to the homescreen to be able to use it. I would suggest that the Dev. create an editable floating icon that can be clicked anywhere to bring a pane for the gesture to be drawn. Thanks alot
App was good to start so purchased pro. Now twice my icons and widgets have just disappeared from the home page. Not sure what happened. First time happened after downloading an app and the second time just after I exited the playstore. Please fix this bug and I will give more stars. For now, guess I will use a different launcher. **UPDATE** Thanks dev for very quick response. Issue seems to come from Oct 13th update. Looking forward to next update. Up a star to 4 stars for very responsive dev. Any chance to add backup/restore home screen to settings? Might be a useful setting. Also editing icons? Thanks.
I really enjoy the launchers gesture driven concept as it helps with only opening apps consciously. However, I am experiencing buggy widget behaviour. After restarting it seems like there are duplicates of widgets layered on top of each other. It does not completely break the launcher, but it is quite annoying and I hope it gets fixed soon.
Good but some basic features appear to be missing such as infinite scrolling through all home screens. Also, widgets double up sometimes on top of each other and themes have to reapplied as they are not backwards compatible including older icon packs when using Android 12. Update: Had to uninstall due to all widgets doubling up on top of each other 2 or 3 times per day and everything on my home screens being thrown out of place. Gone back to Nova Launcher.
The gestures algorithm seriously needs to be rewritten. I know of gestures software that never fail (see 'easystroke' for gnu/linux for example.) My experience with AUG which I bought and use everyday is that sometimes I have to repeat a gesture three or four times for it to work. Diminishing the gesture sensitivity opens commands with totally different gestures. I believe in AUG and hope this gets fixed, it is the best launcher even yet.
This is the best and alternative launcher that has loads of useful features that other launchers don't offer. Unlike other launchers, the pro version cost far less. Only draw a gesture on the screen and you open an app. I do also like the swapping users mode and the icon's layout. The support it is fast and reliable.
Love this app! I recently got a tablet and realized that it does not rotate with screen. I didn't ever need it rotated on my phone, but a rotation feature for the home screen would be great, especially for use with a tablet!
My old launcher stopped working and I needed a new one. I found this which was very similar in features to what my old one did and definitely still seems supported so I tried it and I'm very happy with the fact I didn't have to relearn a whole bunch of stuff past setup and have something that looks entirely different.

I love that I can have a clean home screen but still have access to all of my apps with the unlimited custom gestures. The launcher is very accurate so I almost never use my side bar launcher anymore. Allows for a high level of customization without being hard on battery too! I would like to see custom colors using the color code and also centering of folder names when the folders are opened. Thanks!
Love!!!! This is the perfect app. Just enough customization without over doing it. Easy to use. Absolutely love the drawing gesture. Just perfect.
Update... had to come back and check this launcher out again, the gestures are working great now. If endless customizations(like Nova, lawnchair or total launcher) were an option I would probably say that this could definitely be one of the best launchers hands down... Old Post-Love the concept but after numerous gesture settings bringing up the wrong thing had to uninstall.
Been using this as my launcher for 2 years now and hasn't disappoint even once. Unique settings allows you to customize apps in a folder and assign it a unique gesture. Hiding apps to provide privacy with different modes helps in making it easy to access and hiding apps such as games where your siblings may want to spend your hard earned currency. Overall unique and amazing personal launcher.
The developer is very responsive. I tried for pro license but got payment issue .The developer was good enough to provide me a coupon for the same. Regarding launcher, concept is nice which I was looking for after z launcher from nokia. Few improvements if possible 1.If we can have the gesture list on top of pixel launcher kind of design, it would be great. Still we can customize like that .no doubt.

I tried diligently to love this app (even bought Pro version) but having come from Nokia's Z Launcher, I missed the incredible prediction of apps used by day/time. And the inaccuracy of gestures is so frustrating compared to Z's amazing scribble. Add/improve these and I'll come back to attempt another retirement of Z.
I have given 5 star before but now I don't because screen flickers and lags 2-3 times to show the password screen when I open the locked apps and sometimes it enters into the app without entering the password. I have this problem from recent updates. app gets stuck sometimes, I liked its smoothness before now I don't, I am gonna uninstall it
every single feature is great. but there is space for development. for eg double tap lock can be added.😉 custom icon packs etc . and have to mention that the developer team had put in some real effort. GREAT WORK GUYS
This is an excellent and fantastic launcher. One that actually works. No niggles or anything wrong with it and has lots of features. Since I used this launcher I didn't need to change again. This launcher beats all the others.
The launcher is smart, cute gestures and over all very light and fast. But I request the developer to make the app label text size somewhat bigger... Then it would have capability for 5 🌟rating After using for hours when I restarted the phone it constantly crashed, and cant open the app. Please fix it up
So far its super. But i cant decide what order I want the apps in a folder to be. I add all the apps in to a folder and they are not in the order i put them in. so i tried to move the apps in the folder but then the apps is removed form the folder and it goes back to the main screen. Am i doing something wrong or dosent it just work to have order in a folder?
Nice, but no fonts styles, no news feed, no weather forecast, notification does not indicate on my Facebook, message, lite Facebook. My news apps that shows notifications on my previous launcher doesn't show on this one. Please, fix them. Thanks.
amazing, found what i was looking for, i was looking for gesture base launcher like Z introduced by nokia, but same was discontinued. thanx to bring the concept back and the amazing thing its add free, please keep it that way and brings update. till time havnt found any bug or any issue. thanx u dev.
Great launcher, really enjoying the gestures feature. Ever since updating to android 12 the launcher has been acting up, folders reset by removing apps from it back to the drawer and custom added gestures keep getting removed when having more than 8 after a while
Aug launcher of which im currently using has extraordinary performance with multiple functions as l've "quoted" with app lock,gestures,all drawers,wig,as well as app resize and eventually if u can endeavor and fix news feed on home screen just like xos launcher u will definitely be the best.
I love this launcher on my note 8. I purchased the pro version. However, there's a bug that keeps mysteriously removing my widgets and apps from the home screen. Once this bug is fixed it'll be worth 5 stars.
To the user: Get this app and buy the pro unlock too! This is the best launcher on the play store! To the Author: Great clone of Nokia's Z-Launcher. Z-launcher no longer in production. It was the best launcher ever. AUG Launcher is equal to z-Launcher and also has more more more features. I hope for the finger drawing input to be more accurate in future release. I would pay double money for pro key if it was better finger drawing of letter recognition. Yes, it is Worth the current PRO key price. I recommend other people to buy the pro key now. Can ML help your app recognize and be FASTER finger drawing of letters (AKA Graffiti)? I look forward to your dedication on the next release of this app. Thank you.
I started using this launcher because my favour launcher (Z-Launcher) has not been maintained for several years now. AUG Launcher is almost the launcher I am looking for. It is easy to use. I love the gestures, and the fact you can customise them is great. There is a few things I would like to see, if it could do those I would give it 5 stars and I would buy the pro version: 1. In contacts mode I would like to be able to open the contact's record, instead of ringing them straight away. I have several contacts with multiple phone numbers, and would also like to be able to SMS them from there. I would be more than happy to see a configuration option that allows me to switch between 'call contact' and 'open contact record' 2. Large icons/fonts, especially in the search results, because I really cannot see the contacts in the search, the apps kind of work because they all have different icons. 3. Search function to search for last names as well as first names (or second words in app names) Next to that there here is a list of nice to have features: 4. Mixed mode (contacts and apps), and the ability to configure App mode, Contact mode, or Mixed mode as default. 5. Configurable search result grid size (ideally I'd like it to be as big as possible, the whole screen would work for me) 6. Multistroke gestures (this is something that Z-Launcher does, and I miss it) (This essentially means that anything drawn in the screen within half a second of the last gesture is considered part of the gesture.) Overall I think you have created a fantastic product, well deserving the 4 stars.
