AUKEY Home

Great when it works but it doesn't always work. every few weeks the"timer" just stops working. the schedule is still there saying the plug should turn on at 7:00 pm but it just doesn't turn on. I usually have to pull the plug out of the wall and plug it back in again. easy enough of I'm home but when I use these to turn on the lights when I'm away they're unreliable. I now but only wemo smart devices

This is really a poorly designed app. (1) Why not be able to set on & off times in the same screen? (2) Can't select a new network without starting over from scratch. (3) Loses scheduling of on/off times.

Filed complaint with company because I have had to delete and redownload this app numerous times. The screen that shows what devices are controlled partially loads and won't refresh. Otherwise it works as advertised.

If I could give this app a half star review I woild. This app is poorly designed and doesn't work half of the time. Not sure if it's just the device I have but the app will turn off my lamp randomly all throughout the day and will disconnected whenever I enter the app No updates for my phone, the app, or the device are available and my wifi strength is strong.

Can't connect to lamp LT-T7. Not via the easy way or the other method. Wifi is 2.4 and got the correct blinking state as stated on the app. Yet nothing. Successfully connected twice but kept getting disconnected (device not connected to WiFi).

Works ok. like others mentioned there are a few advanced features that are lacking. My biggest complaint is that the smart plug only works on 2.4 ghz wifi. You may have to modify your wifi settings and lose some wifi optimization.

It used to work with Google assistant now it doesn't anymore and there's no way to reconnect to Google home as it seems something is broken ok Aukey's end. Every other app is able to be linked and all my smart devices from other brands work just fine.

Like the device, but sometimes need to remove and add device in the app if timers are not working correctly. However, this does not happen too often. Also did not adjust for daylight savings time.

No longer integrates with Google Home. Purchased two sphere lights for my kids rooms after moving away from Amazon Echo to Google home. They worked brilliantly until we moved and I had to set my home automation gear back up. Aukey Home will no no longer integrates into the Google home ecosystem. Of the 14 different works with google integrations I have, this is the only one. The issue is definitely on Aukey's side.

App no longer links to Google Home, which is why I bought the lights in the first place. I guess it's only a minor inconvenience since I can still operate the lights through the app, but still...

EDIT, 12/31/2020: Yay! Back to simple, clean, works. I love my Aukey smart outlets. I've tried big names ☹️ This is much better. Suddenly simple, clean, works ➡️ clunky, confusing, doesn't work. Worst update ever.

Can't find aukey app when doing add device through Google home. The scene programing options are impossible to predict what the hell they are going to do. If I could get my money back I would. Complete garbage.

Last update horrible. Touch sensitivity is awful. The app is just worse thsn the previous release. Plus my smartplugs seem to go offline & require cold restart MUCH MORE than before.

Can't pick on/off times for devices, only sunset and sun rise times. I tried to work around this by picking Hawaii sunset time, only to find city options are all in Chinese.

If you bought the Smart Plug, go with Smart Life. First versions, instructed to get this app. New versions ask for Smart Life App. With Smart Life you get IFTTT, but everything else is basically the same.

Can't add Smart led device to my router which support both 2.4gz and 5gz mode. No way to get device MAC address to manually add it to router device list.

No longer works with Google home tried to unlink and relink however it won't relink to servers. Terrible what has happened since they got kicked off amazon

Used to control gene lidar cleaning robot. Mapping is not saved and thus control not applicable. Room subdivision quite uneffective. Fully useless.

It's not integrating with Google home, it keeps saying "could not reach Aukey home" and I tried everything

It used to work with Google now it doesn't. No update from devs in over a year

Couldn't get Alexa to find this App...but the Aukey plug works in the Smart Life App that i already had installed for other plugs and lights!

Doesn't work with Google assistant anymore. No updates since 1/2021

Stopped working with Google Home. Useless product to me now. Will be using another brand from now on.

The ability to set group timers would be great.

No longer works with Google home, developers won't respond.
