Unable to connect to dashcam. App is seriously bugged, the phone connects to the dashcam's wifi just fine but when attempting to connect the camera to the app, the app only says: "Not connected right Wi-Fi". "Check the Wi-Fi name:Aukey-XX" Aukey please fix this. I paid extra for the wifi version of the dash cam, it needs to have some kind of functionality. I'll update the review as able assuming a fix is rolled out. Google Pixel 3a XL, latest OS updates installed. App permissions granted.
Terrible app. Won't connect to Wi-Fi on my Galaxy Note 10. Keep getting the error message that it's the wrong Wi-Fi. Lots of people are having this problem. Let's get this fixed Aukey! The app hasn't been updated in a year. I think it's time.
Just like everyone else, it says the connection was successful then says connected to the wrong wifi. Waste of money to get the wifi enabled dash cam.
Purpose of this app is unknown. Though it mentions to be compatible with all Aukey Dash cams, it doesn't connect to my DR-02D.
I'm connected to the dashcam wifi but the app always says I'm not connected to the right wifi. Does this app work for anyone?
Same problem, tells me that it's not the right wifi on my Samsung Galaxy S10 plus, but it connects right away on my wife's iPhone 11
Does not fully allow connection, even with mobile data turned off.

Does not work with ALL Aukey dashcams as not all have wifi. Misleading.

TROUBLE? READ ME! As others have pointed out you need to grant permissions for this app, you may also need to disable mobile data while connected to the dash cam Wi-Fi. Once this was done I was able to use the app successfully, not very convenient but it works, the other option is popping the memory card out and putting it in your computer.
