I havent used this app for a number of months and today i finally decided to see if i had some remaining rewards. Last update from their post was from April 25 and every time you click on something else (rewards, for example) the app crashes. I've already tried to uninstall and reinstall it and nothing has changed.
Horrible app. Received email notification stating I received a free pretzel for making a purchase. This reward isn't visible in the app nor is there a single hyperlink in the email. Will take myself to Taco Bell, where they know how to make a REAL pretzel.
The app doesn't work anymore. I can open the app fine but if I try to see my rewards or click on anything else, the screen goes back to the picture of the stack of pretzels with lemonade and the Auntie Anne's logo. It will stay on that screen and not change causing me to force close it. Over and over and over. We just want to order pretzels. We HAVE to use the app as the "scanner doesn't work" at the store closest to us.
This is not very well designed. Standard products are not available, drink choices are limited to large. Outdated promotions from last year are still on the app. Customer service doesn't help, they just say the promotion is expired. And on top of that there is a charge to order on the app even if you are picking the order up yourself.
Great idea, love the reward system and special offers, however, doing orders by app are difficult, and often times you have to just back out, and start all over. You can mark a store as a "Favorite", but this oddly in no way saves the option, so you still have to do a search for it when you want to make an order, or view offers. The app on phones needs work, and sadly, on tablets it needs more work. The issues seem like they would be simple to fix, and I look forward to an update.
Very unintuitive app, doesn't make for a good experience. Additionally, their rewards system is horrible. You can only use one coupon per purchase, which forces the user to send through 5 different purchases if they want to use their coupons, which just creates a bad time for the poor people working in the store. Additionally, redeeming any coupon leaves you with a measly 20 minutes to use it, when it could easily be something like an hour to provide ample time for use without issue.
App is really bad. I'm really good with tech, but this all is horrible. You need to scroll all the way down just to see the single pretzels. You also need to know when to apply the coupon. I mistakenly clicked redeemed and I didn't realized it had a 2 min timer. Horrible layout. Need to be redesigned. Look at wendy's and burger king app and copy their setup.
What you get on emails for a free pretzel, or BOGO, or a free dip, well, I can't find them in my app even when it's within the limited time period. It just doesn't show in the app at all! We should be able to download and print it on hardcopy in case app doesn't work or if store has terrible wifi reception. Please bring back the old version of paper printout! APP is useless if it doesn't show any promos when I get them in emails but it says to open in app to get it!
Shittiest Convoluted Food App. Impossible to figure out how to edit any order, menu is an absolute mess where it's all on one page, and worst of all, impossible to use any coupon. Tried to use BOGO coupon from T-Mobile reward, and at first, it wouldnt even show up in my rewards, until restarting multiple times. Couldn't use it in checkout like youre supposed to, tried "redeem" in the menu. Started counting down from 1 minute to use in person despite being app only! Now lost my UNUSED coupon!!!
I really like it, Auntie Anne's is one of my favorite places. I really love the almond pretzel with cream cheese, it's an excellent combination. very good service and quality.
When I redeem a reward, it gives a qr code instead of a coupon code, and the Auntie Anne's that I went to said it is supposed to give a coupon code, not a qr code. Tried to back out, but app is frozen. And I have to restart the app, but the reward is then gone. The app functions and seems intuitive, but does it function well? Given others' reviews and mine...not well, but could be worse, I suppose.
This app is not working I am very frustrated. I spend a lot of money at auntie Annie and usually accumulate rewards fast.
I NEVER get to order through the app. Every time I try, it's just a dark blue (short) like that races back and forth at the top of the screen🤦🏻♀️ I could be standing infront of the store and it still never loads. Kinda inconvenient
I go out of my way to get a pretzel and the coupon codes always give me some issue. Made a mistake and redeemed by pressing redeem instead of in the check out and there was no way to fix after I pressed redeem. If there is only one correct way of redeeming a coupon, why would they give you an option for an incorrect way that can't be taken back. The pretzels are not worth the headache.
It crashes within seconds of opening. Clearing cache solves nothing.
Hard to navigate, when you do get to the menu it loads slowly, and doesn't have the full menu on one screen or even two. So you must keep moving between screens or go back to beginning just add a drink to an order. On plus the side, good product pictures.
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Installed 6 times to try and get it to work. When it opens it just freezes on the Auntie Anne's splash screen and all you can do is close it. Time to hire seasoned programmers guys, this is the first App that hasn't worked on my phone. Embarrassing!!!
Horrible. There is no customer service through the app for delivery. I can't even review an order to say I'm missing items. Sometimes orders aren't recoded yet still delivered, charged to you're account, and picked up by a driver. Uninstalling and never using again. Also, rewards aren't applicable.
Put an order in to redeem a reward and then got "The ordering system was not able to transmit an order (#) scheduled for today. There was an issue communicating the order to the in-store system." Well I didn't see it until I got there since I don't check phone while driving, and I was like okay no biggie I'll just order it in person since I'm here anyways. But it won't let you redeem another reward until 4 hours have passed. Sigh.
Crashing and freezing is a big issue with this app plus the fact that you can't find an actual Stand in your area that is open. None of the walmarts are open as I went to 3 the other day and all were closed and this was when they were supposed to be open to redeem a reward but forget it a pretzel is not worth my time for this app.
Downloaded the app and everytime I try to scan the barcode it keeps saying error & won't scan, there's no information on the receipt to enter if it doesn't work, so no way to get credit for your purchases. Even tried deleting the app & redownloaded to have the same problem, not only that the 100 points I had banked we're now gone. Email was sent to customer care & I have yet to hear a response... Not worth your time or space on your phone
