AuroraBound - Pattern Puzzles

I like the puzzles. It's rare to find puzzles that are really hard. But the game us designed around hints and here's my beef: the hints are designed so that the first several are useless. Each one sets one piece of the puzzle but the first few hints always set a piece on the edge that doesn't matter at all so they dont help solve the puzzle at all. Its annoying.

Pattern matching puzzles. The pieces are square and can either be picked up and placed in the diagram, or simply rotated. You have to match patterns and colors on each side of the pieces. Deceptively simple, but the later puzzles can be quite difficult. Lots of fun and unless you need hints, it costs nothing. I can play this for hours without getting bored. Awesome game.

This is a really fun game where you have to recognize patterns, match, rotate and visualize. I deeply appreciate the aesthetics and geometry of the puzzles and the way each world unlocks more visually complex patterns. The only downside and a minor one at that is that it feels like placing a tile over another one that's already placed there by you bugs up the ui a little bit. Other than that i highly recommend this game!

Nice colour/pattern-matching puzzle game. Simple mechanics but not easy! Hints are quite hard to collect, but it rewards patience. Ads are optional - watch if you want more hints. Downside: puzzle pieces sometimes shift when you are trying to move other pieces, also the colours can be hard to make out n a small mobile. But it is not impossible. I am enjoying it - have reached world 30 so far.

It is fun, but there is no explanation on how things work, like if I don't use the hints do they build up, or just go away, and can I back up if the puzzle moves to the next one before I solve it. Revision: i found the lightbulb, my phone has a curve, I just couldn't see it and it does go faster then I realize I solved the puzzle. All in all it is fun.i really enjoy it.

Very enjoyable and relaxing. No time limits, attractive colour schemes. The ads are ok, short ones pop up between puzzles and you can watch a longer ad to earn more hints, which seems fair. Using the hints is a bit of a lottery though. You ask for a hint and often it just swaps a piece you already have in place with one which is effectively the same - that doesn't help! It's worth watching the longer ads to build up plenty of hints because a lot of them will be wasted.

Excellent ...relaxing...exciting. I like that I can consintrate and do the puzzle at hand. The puzzles are nice to do as well. Love the colors.. I can get lost in time and just relax and know that the puzzle will come together. All together the game is a lot of fun. I truly stay focused and finish the puzzle no matter how long it takes.. some puzzles get harder than others but that's the challenge.

Overall this puzzle game feels a lot more easy on the eye than other puzzlers that have over-the-top effects and sounds. There's no need for that sort of thing here. This game is more subdued and definitely appeals to those looking for a calmer puzzle game that will keep you busy for a long time. The sounds are suitably low key too. Can't fault it really Cheers!

A unique concept - colors, shapes, movement - all controlled by the user, and NOT TIMED! ! ! (a good thing) UPDATE: The puzzles get harder as you progress thru the Worlds. So much so that using a hint or 2 is unavoidable. Hence the problem--hints cost money, lots of money. Unless there is another way to earn hints, I'm thru with this game.

Enjoyable game but if you reset a level after you've used hints it resets every square, so you effectively waste the hints you've already used and have to use more to get to the same position. This is really annoying on bigger puzzles. Sometimes the hints also 'correctly' rotate a square that is actually the same pattern on all four quadrants so it is wasted as it doesn't make any difference! Some puzzles also have more than one solution which as a completist I don't like.

This is a beautiful game with a smooth gameplay. It's definitely challenging and addictive. My only complaint is the random tile swapping that sometimes happens when you go to grab another tile. If this function had an "off" option in the settings, I would give the 5th star in a heartbeat

The controls can be absolutely annoying (you move a piece, then try to move another and it changes them, because FU) and while some levels can be nice and challenging, others don't really have much of a pattern to begin with and are a guessing fest. Also restarting a level removes any used hints, which another FU, especially given their price and how little you can get by viewing ads. Not worth it.

Update: Now in world 6X, ads popping up all the time, no ability to pay to disable ads. Worse, I bought a hint pack and I still have ads!! Just awful. Great game, progressively more difficult puzzles. Loses one star due to one infuriating gameplay mechanic: automated tile swap. Can't disable it. Intrusive, wrong 99.99% of the time, interrupts flow, just ghastly.

Amazing! I play very few games but when I found this one I was really impressed. No ads popping up all the time. Easy to understand. If you love puzzles or matching or any type of solving game then this is the game for you. Completely worth installing and it's fast with no kind of bugs. Thanks to those who mae it! Really fun in the beginning, but the levels suddenly get really hard around world 10. It would be nice if there was a page to give you strategies for solving the puzzles. A menu would also be nice, so you could go between worlds and solve levels again

Froze up. One of the tiles is frozen and will not move. Not even when I try to use a hint. Update: Was told to reset the puzzle. Yea, this works but you have to give up the hints you used and start over. Not really a fix to the glitch in your system.

I would give 5 stars, because it's a lovely game, but the hints are so rare! I use them only when really stuck, and need to be able to tap on the square I want placed, not just some random one. Otherwise they are really not much help. Apart from that ( but it is a biggie for me ) the game is delightful.

Amazing game, so much fun especially for people who like puzzles and like to recognize patterns in some of the levels, the only issue is with the hints, I can only watch 1 advert at a time to collect a hint and you need hints in some of the levels, so it's taken me months just to complete 1 level

AuroraBound is an excellent game that challenges the brain while also relaxing it. I feel like I can get too lost in a game and that's not the case with this. For me, that is really nice. I don't feel the pressure to finish the level right then. I can come back to it when feeling stressed or anytime at all. It is a really great game.

Entertaining. Addictive. Logic and using process of elimination are the skills required to play Aurora. Some puzzles are easy and some are very hard to solve. I like that you can gain extra hints by watching ads though I try not to use them.

honestly excellent. I'd be willing to pay for this game. the ads are non intrusive and the gameplay is engaging with a good difficulty curve.

I love this game 5⭐ You are getting 3 stars ONLY because I bought over 100 hints, then about 2 days later, I restarted my phone, and I opened the app to play and it was reset as well, despite googleplay connection.. I had to start from world one again, and those hints I bought were gone. I love this puzzle, I still have yet to find another puzzle game like this, and I'm obsessed lol.. but man, I really wish I didn't have to start all over and lose those hints. (You guy have any other games?)

A nice and relaxing game for time killing. I like how zen the game is. The colors can be rather flat, especially if the colors clash, sometimes I need to stop because the colors make my eyes sore. Perhaps an option to choose a color scheme that's less painful can be considered for future updates

Great .apk. Idea 4 a new one: make blocks with a slight 3D surface and use transparency on them. The result could be a nice stained glass puzzle. Or even, u could use Celt patterns, some of them show great designs. Apart from it, nice work. Tyvm :)

Having played this game for a while, I felt compelled to write a review. The game is very well balanced and the difficulty increases over time but not to level where it becomes frustrating. I play this when I just need a little mental stimulus. I enjoy playing it and it's my go to game. It's really well put together. Thank you!

Stunning patterns. Relaxing yet challenging. Minimal ads. Love it! One star down due to: ---> beyond annoying auto swap of tiles I NEVER want to swap ---> Nothing in settings to turn said silly swapping off ---> No access to view patterns completed

Good game, but some levels are incredibly random, and have multiple solutions, especially in the later levels. It would benefit from a hint reward system.

Fun and addictive. A little small for fat fingers and older eyes. What really bugs me are the hints. Due to the complicated nature of the games you have to use some hints. Have to buy hints at an absorbent rate. But what really gets me is the limits on when I can use the hints even after reset I couldn't use the hints. If I'm paying that much for hints I ought to be able to use them when I want. Now I'm locked out of using hints at my present level and can't advance. Can you unlock the hints?
