My alert notifications never work. I have missed auroras because of this. When I look at social media fustrating to see posts of aurora when I could have been there.
Continually finding that this app's alert function will not work with me, checked app settings and phone settings and they were fine. Edited 21/2/21 - Yet again no alert while all settings were fine, missed a strong display because of this last night - uninstalling
Great up, hope that I'll pay enough attention to catch the aurora sometime soon
Apparently this app IS NOT CREATED TO FORECAST THE AURORA EVENT. Bit strange as the description clearly says otherwise. Anyway it doesn't work so don't bother downloading it if you expect it to warn you in time to see the Northern Lights, cos it doesn't. Pointless app.
Good App but notification useless as it doesn't notify until you have been into the App then it is too late.
Does what it's supposed to do. Managed to get really good photos at loch Lomond because of this app.
Works fine for me, pings when there's activity & I use it to plan my aurora photography...
Seemed to drain the life from my battery, even when not in use
The app is quite good but it would be better if you give a future prediction also
In answer to the developers reply to my last review as you stated you published yellow at 21.48 the aurora was over by then as it happened around 45/60 min earlier thats a fact as i wat hed it live on cameras, so your app was indeed very slow

I can define the alert level I want to notified at. The SWPC forecast is a particularly good way to work out the chance of seeing an aurora too.
Just hope this allows me to see one now!
Nice app but after a recent update it seems to be crashing at least once per hour. Got fed up with Android telling me it's stopped and uninstalled it

Perfect. Indicates when Aurora Borealis likely with excellent activity intensity and advance notification functionality.
