It's perhaps unfair to compare this to the gold standard that was pocket weather, but after being somewhat forced to switch to this I find it very underwhelming. It's not particularly easy to navigate, and I usually take a few attempts to find what I need. The lack of historical observations in the temp chart is disappointing. My suburb in Ballarat defaults to the weather description for Melbourne's, which is unhelpful. With no updates for over a year I think I need to look elsewhere for weather

The best of the rest, I guess. Needs a lot of work to be a true replacement for Pocket Weather, non-exhaustive list, in no particular order: Auto-updating widget; composite graphs (display multiple data sets on single plot); scroll to history on main graph (currently relegated to separate section under hamburger); output of current value(s) when scrolling graph; reordering of tiles; radar display in main view, etc.

It would be great if the current temperature didn't override the predicted and feels like temperature and I could get rid of the annoying graph at the top. If there is a way of changing this, I would like to know. Would then give it 5 stars. Pocket Weather it's not, but would come close if I could fix these things.

Like the redesign aesthetic, bold line on graph. But missing the second graph of upcoming rain data, found this combo very useful. Rain radar makes more sense than button, but very slow to render, if app performance is compromised by having radar on screen then not good. Scrubbing time line on radar shows current time and allows you to pause! Great addition. Would love to have a combo graph view of temp, feels like and rain, not just single data view.

I'm coming from pocket weather so had very high standards to meet. The app is fine, however I am noticing that the widgets are not refreshing and even when pressing the refresh button, it doesn't refresh with updated weather information as per the actual app. Really need this sorted, or the widget is a waste of space and basically useless.

Very solid app. - best replacement for Pocket Weather I can find - fast and concise, with BOM weather data. Needs font scaling though, especially for the widgets - would rather the widget day icons were much smaller and leave more space for the forecast text... The ability to have you 'default' radar on the main page would also be great. Purchased the ad-free, just to support the dev(s). Fix those minor gripes and it's an easy 5 stars.

I like the new version! A bit of love scared some old bugs (national radar with only satellite data, erroneous wind direction forecast). The new embedded radar view is particularly great, love the notification with current temperature. Forecast conditions legend does not seem to match the order in the diagram but pretty minor. Nice work

Edit: deleted the widget and put it back on homescreen. Seems to be accurate again, for now. Old: LOVE the app. Looks good, has all the info I want. Easy to read. The widget however rarely has the right information (it's been 13°C for the past few weeks in QLD apparently?), frequently says please wait, and on a family members phone just straight up became a blank/black bar. Rest of the app top notch tho.

A good overall replacement for Pocket Weather Australia. Needs a better graph display though. Being able to see temperature graphed against feels like temperature would be great 👍 Edit: no more satellite image viewer. Such a shame as it was the only one I used :(. Also text is blacked out when selecting a graph option using dark mode.

Generally a good app, however what is an issue for me is that there doesn't seem to be an easy way to see a simple prediction for the amount of rain for the current day in the same way as for the rest of the days of the week. There is the measure of rain since 9am, and the graph showing rain chance by the hour, but what I would also like is the way that BOM shows an 80% chance of 2 to 6 mm of rain for any one day including today. The same way that your app does already show this for the days ahead.

Have had this app for a few years and it's great. The only issue I keep having is that I turn notifications on so whatever else I'm doing on my phone I can just pull down top of screen to see current temp but the notification constantly disappears. I have to open the app and turn notifications off & on again to get it show up. If this didn't happen I'd give this app 5 stars. (Or maybe 4.5 if I could as I really wish there was a widget that showed the whole week's forecast at a glance)

This app has been great so far - a good alternative to pocket weather. The only thing I've found missing so far is first and last light, that's something I look at a lot to see how much daylight is left! Otherwise neat layout and worth paying to support the development and remove the ads.

Great app. There few shortcomings however. The detailed weather forecast shows time in 6 hourly chunks. Would be nice to have a slider to see conditions at a particular point in time. Current UV index on the widget or even app screen wouldn't hurt but not as essential. Otherwise great app. Thanks!

My new favourite weather app for Australia! Immediately paid to remove the (unobtrusive) ads just to support the development. Clean UI, nice widgets, customisable notifications and best of all accurate BoM-sourced weather. Would appreciate the ability to overlay multiple graphs (ie temp and rainfall) in the Detailed Forecast, the current time in the Detailed Forecast and also be able to zoom in on the Detailed Forecast to see hour by hour timestamps than just the 3 displayed.

I almost thought that I'd found the best replacement for Pocket Weather (I'm even happy with the widget everyone's complaining about) ....but the temperature notification keeps disappearing at random! Bummer. If this is fixed, or if there's some indication that this app will be further developed, I'll gladly part with my $2. Hope they do - promising app.

Definitely the best weather app I've used. Have tried others but keep coming back to this one over multiple handsets. Good layout and all the info is easy to find.

The notification temperature is always a random temperate, if you click it and open the app the app states a different temperature, often off by 5-7 degrees. On top of that the weather in the app is also often wrong, currently it's reporting a temperature of 26°, but according to the graph of temperature over time it should be 22°, it isn't supposed to be 26° until around 8am tomorrow morning.

Best replacement I have found for Pocket Weather so far, the weather is accurate using BOM data. My only issue is that unlike Pocket Weather, the current UV level is not at all accurate and always way off when compared to the Sun Smart app. Unfortunately I now have to keep both apps instead of an accurate all in one weather app.

I have used your app for years now as I've found it to be very accurate, and this is the best update I have seen with it yet, based on the fact that I can read it so much better with the new theme, and everything is so much clearer. The information provided within the forecasts is very helpful, and I've not experienced any issues with the app in the entire time I've been using it. Thankyou
