Pretty accurate for free. Use in my tree stand. Set camera height to highest setting. Yargage will fluctuate, for example I set my target at 20 yards, the distance reading was fluctuating between 23 and 29 yards consistently, so I use the lowest distance measurement as it was accurate within 3 yards. Thanks
This app looks way cooler than it works. It works well at under 10 ft or about 3 yards. After that everything I point at it tells me is a million yards or a million feet away. It has no calibration or anything that I could find. Disappointing at best
This is a good app. For accurate results don't change the position of the camera after taking a shot for the distance, then slowly tilt the camera until it focuses on the top of the subject to get the height.
I validated measurement through distance meter and I found out the accuracy is almost perfect. Just measure the actual lens height from your feet up to the holding level or height pointing down to the base of the distance you want to measure.
If you read the manual it is very accurate, at 20 yards it was only off by 3" but you have to have your device set to the correct height in order to get the closet measurements... WORKS GREAT FOR FREE, THANKS...
Not a bad little app the range is pretty close to accurate,it is a little jumpy but manageable
It works decently enough. The people who left poor reviews probably did not set it up properly and were too lazy to read the manual.
I was lucky enough to have visual distance markers and set the camera height and distance to that. The camera height was set to give me the 60 yard marker distance and I kept that while at my 3D archery shoot. Worked well if you're very still
Not even close!! It showed 8 feet as 17 feet. I even had my phone mounted on a stable surface. Maybe it's the sensors on my phone??? I have an LG Stylos 5.
Just works. Easy to calibrate to almost perfect accuracy. works great wanna try it with a monocular and write another review.
Cool little app. As long as you set the height correctly it should give decent results.
A good app to use. It's not high tech equipment but if you need to find range then this app can get you in the ballpark.
not bad. it does not actually measure the distance that it's seeing - it actually works through the angle that you hold the phone
This app is a total joke. It does not give anywhere near accurate readings. Don't waste your time downloading. I ranged known yardages and this app was off by 20 yards or more.
Worked well enough when my rangefinder quit working. Not 100% accurate but it was close enough to what I needed.
Actually works if to use it like it tells you to use it. Very surprised at how close it works with my $200 range finder.
The app is terrible when your four feet from an object it tells you you're 45 or 50 ft away and it does not work as they say if you aim at the base it tells you an error
Bishop is toy f****** retarded I had a $5,000 range finder against a thousand-dollar range finder this app is completely trash I took a sample I had my sniper what he shot a bullet from 1500 yards in the rangefinder said it was a million miles I don't know about you but I don't think that's correct it's rangefinder is completely trash.
Well done! Didn't read anything but just tried a few different measurements with the app that I already knew and its pretty damn close. Great job!
Two stars for entertainment. Side by side with an inexpensive range finder, this app is waaay off. My grand kiddoz like it.
Gave it a 3 because of the laugh, checking a target distance and according to this app I'm the first person to hit a target at a billion meters away.
Very good App! Neat user interface very easy to use and accurate.
Unless I'm actually 37 feet tall I would doubt the accuracy of the app.
Didn't really work that well, tried it on some objects I knew the distance and it was really wrong.
it's good but struggles to lock on and jumps between distances.
for bow hunting great very accurate to about 50 yds compared it against 2 different range finders a bushnell an Leopold
seems to be decent. I wish it would stabilize with a solid number.
A little hard to get it working right, but once I knew how to work the app it was fine.
If the camera height would go higher than 8 ft it would be very useful.
Downloaded this despite the reviews bad idea. It literally shows that if I put my hand in front of the camera it's eight feet away & somehow my living room is a million feet across. I mean it has its moments where it could be accurate but overall it's grossly off of what the distance is it's measuring
