Auto Skip Ads Pro

Honestly one of the best apps around, but still needs some work. It works good, muting and skipping YouTube ads automatically. However, it often keeps your video muted for upwards of 5~7 seconds after the ad is skipped. Forcing you to manually turn your volume up and scroll back the video, sometimes defeating the purpose. The app also inexplicably stops working as it's supposed to from time to time. If you watch as much YouTube as I do, this is a MUST HAVE, but be wary of it's short comings.

When it works it's great. It mutes ads and then skips as soon as it's able and that's great, but it only works if YT is in full screen. If you minimize the video like me, to look for the next video or open another app it doesn't mute or skip the ads until you return to YouTube. Even the phone's drop down menu disrupts the apps function. If you don't use PiP when watching YT then this app is perfect for you.

Best ad skipper app available. Install and open, select auto skip ads, hide it from your app drawer and forget about it. This is perfect. You can even select turn off sound during ads if you'd rather not hear the 5 seconds of the ad before it is auto skipped, then sound comes back on when the video starts. Great for leaving a YouTube playlist going while you're busy, saves you having to return to your phone to skip those long ads. Nice work! Simple and effective.

This app is great, i love that it mutes ads before they can be skipped. Without it i have the words 'get your free audio book now' and 'only with trading 212' burned into my brain. But, unfortunately, the app only works for a while and then stops. It works for a few days, mabye a week, and then no matter how many times you turn on the auto skip feature in the app, it automatically turns off assoon as u leave the app screen, and this can only be fixed by reinstalling. I hope this is fixed soon!!

Well it's really only good for four second ads (which surprisingly are very few), anything more than that and you may as well hear the whole add, you end up missing the first 4 or 5 seconds of the vid and have to go back. I wonder if there is a way so that it could really tell when the ad had finished regardless of the duration.

Pretty simple, but effective app. Mutes audio when it senses an ad and unmutes when it's over. Also skips the ad when possible. It uses some sort of optical recognition to tell when an ad is playing, so it's not perfect (i.e. miniplayer at bottom of screen in YouTube app, and the floating video player on some phones when YouTube is minimized). Honestly I'd like to see ads eliminated entirely, but I don't know if that's possible without remaking the YouTube app or using a web browser.

Have you ever got pissed off when u drive and listening music from youtube via your car infotainment system and either you wait for the stupido ads to end or you try to hit the little skip button on the screen ....while you drive... risky and dangerous... but this app saves all the stress and time . again..Great job!!

Wow this actually does work, but to make it clear it only works if the ad is skipable. So you wanna take a shower but your Playlist is on YouTube if its like a skipable ad then it will auto skip but if its 15 seconds long it won't. But thats why its good if you are in a shower so you don't have to get your phone wet just because you needed to skip a long ad. I find this pretty useful.

*IT'S FREE* Does exactly what I wanted it to! Skips more than 5 second ads after 5 seconds, ensuring both ads are skipped. Silences ads when they play so I'm not bothered by an obnoxiously loud ad. Auto plays the next video when the video I am watching is over since we know Youtube's built in autoplay feature is trash and doesn't work at all! Very pleased.

A lot of potential with this app. Usually works as expected, but a few noteable problems. 1. The app doesn't appear to work when the video is fullscreen or if the ad has a secondary pop up to the right of the screen (using tablet version of YT) 2. The app will randomly stop skipping the ads, but continue to cycle mute off and on 3. Doesn't skip if the video is minimized 4. Does not work if you are using a playlist and have the playlist list open

It works! A previous app I tried wouldn't even open. This app works flawlessly. Does not block the ads but skips them just like you would manually. This is fair to Youtube content creators. Because this app works so well, I purchased the premium version. The developer deserves our support. That's how much I appreciate this app. Try the free version. Used to be good, but a lot of the time now it just don't work. Might not skip, has problems with sound if you set it to mute for ads, might not unmute, things like that. Just not reliable.

Requires a lot of access, far not always skips adds. This is what I see from first hours use testing it with different ways of watching. And this is given you can manually skip adds when you turn off The Internet just before yellow line. Hopefully I will find a certain way of watching, where this app does work

This app is a good solution to add in the YouTube app. While is doesn't remove the ads it will mute them all and autoskip the skippable ones. So far it's the best solution I've found aside from using Firefox to view YouTube with the YouTube adblocker add-on installed.

It doesn't work. I tried holding down the 2 volume buttons on as it said to skip the ads but all it does is turn off the auto skipping feature. Hold it again and it turns it back on but never skips any ads.

All of a sudden, the long, rambling, stupid ads YouTube puts before videos have not only proliferated, but I can't get "skip ad" to work anymore. They're also locking up YouTube. I decided to try this, and it did absolutely nothing.

I love the app so much it works almost every time. there are some that it doesn't but that doesn't bother me. What's most sad though is that it doesn't skip youtube music ads which REALLY, really disappoints me but whatever still love it.

Sometimes it cust off the sound of the first few seconds of video after the ad skips, but overall it's a great app. Does what it says. Autoskips ads.

Not bad at all. I do wish that it would skip YouTube ads instantly though instead of just waiting a few seconds to skip, but beggars can't be choosers. Overall, still a good app nonetheless.

Really good apps. But for long time using it switching it off automatically. And can't switch on, it keep switching off.. I need to clear data and cache to make it working properly again

Worked for an hour and then stopped working entirely even while switched on. What exactly is the point of an adblocker that according to the "will this skip all ads" paragraph in the manual, doesn't skip all ads? That's useless.

First, Didn't know this app. After, well now I can watch YouTube on my bed without moving, ads skip themselves. Also you can see how much time you watch youtube, How many skippable ads you encounter and (I found this cool thing) you can spin the circle around. Thanks! (I watch YouTube everyday. And has no impact on battery.)

I use it on my phone and tablet and it works great! Very reliable. Only problem I have is any scrolling done while muted unmutes the ad and it plays all the way through.

You were right. It works great on the phone. I know it is not an app problem, but it would be great if that would allow skipping ads when controlling the smart TV YouTube with the phone

Phenomenal Best app i have ever downloaded! I was using a browser that blocked all ads, but this one takes the cake. My only complaint is it does not work while the "mini player" is open.

The app is great to automatically skip unwanted ads but their is one problem since if you minimize the video while playing the ad. It cannot auto skip it so you have to maximize the video to be able to auto skip it.
