Auto Speaker
If you are using any type of headset, it will turn the speaker off, regardless of the proximity sensor and use the headset.
Whenever you are in a call, a new "control" button appears (default location is on the top left of the screen).Pressing this button enables (Green icon) or disables (Red icon) the service for the current call.Alternatively you can use notification on the status bar instead of the control button.Please note that when disabling the service it will turn off the speaker.
Furthermore, the speaker button of the dialer may not indicate the current status of the speaker (on\off), nevertheless the status is changed.
IMPORTANT:Some devices may need to be calibrated for the app to work correctly.See 'Calibration' option in settings if needed.
Features:
- Set default service status.
- Disable the service when phone is set to silent or vibrate (optional).
- On each call, you can change the service status for that specific call (It does not change your dialer). Using it will turn the speaker on if service is enabled, and off if service is disabled.
- Set the speaker status when call starts.
- When changing to speaker, set the volume to maximum (configurable).
- Keep the screen on when speaker and/or headset is in used (optional).
- Control for speaker on\off delay (separate delay for on and off).
- Select between using control button or notification on status bar.
- Custom location of the control button.
- Custom transparency of control button.
Default setting is to turn off the speaker quickly when putting it near the ear, but a longer delay to turn it off.This way if you just move the phone for a second from the ear it will not turn it on.

Occasionally Android closes the app so it isn't active when I receive a call (but that's a fundamental Android design flaw); otherwise, app works GREAT, is simple with a smartly designed user-interface, and is easy to configure. I'm surprised this feature doesn't exist as a standard Android feature. My only wish is that the app could be configured to not activate if a Bluetooth device (specifically, headphones) was attached.
When it works its brilliant. But for some reason on my Note9 running Android Pie the service will not start automatically on a call - the notification will show up but it will not start unless manually toggled. It happens after the device has been idle for a while. I suspect the app needs some form of additional permissions so that it is not disabled by the automatic battery optimisations or something like that.
The app works on your normal phone not connected to anything scenario. It doesn't work for me tho. I'm connected to simple bluetooth reciever in my car for music. The app doesn't turn on speaker on your phone while you connected to any Bluetooth even if you set managing calls to off in the Bluetooth settings. I tried to fiddle with settings in the app but nothing seems work. Its a hard pass for me.
Did not work. Kept getting sone kind if error 100 nessage ecery time I tried to use it or set settings. Gave up on it. Uninstalling, just turned out to be a 100% useless application. Don't waste your time with it.
This was a Great App. It did exactly what it said it would do. It AUTOMATICALLY turned on, your Hands-Free Speaker, when you had an incoming call. It simply stopped working after an Android Update. This function should really be part of the Standard Android OS. ANDROID has to STOP CAUSING Good App Developers like this, Hardship & Repeated Fixes by their OS Updates. The developer has not been active on it since Nov.6.2018. Hopefully someone might make this app functional again. It is much missed.
My salutations to the gentlemen. By this I can tell you that the auto speaker application they have prepared is very good but the auto speaker app is not working on Android Leven. That is why I am developing this ato speaker app that works at the Android level. The Google Play Store has not yet had an update. I ask them to prepare and update the next version. On my part they are thanked by Kagi who developed an app called Auto Speaker., Edit box, ಪರಿವರ್ತನೆಗೊಂಡ ಪಠ್ಯ.
Excellent for the purpose...! I use the app due to my phone speaker is faulty and the very place of the touch pad where the loud speaker button sits (on phone call) doesn't work at all... Really helpful... Working excellently... Thanks....(proximity sensor switches to normal speaker hence interrupts the audio....)
Fabulous. Works great. Don't have to touch speaker button, already on. Call when DRIVING without having to press speaker manually. Speaker when Ringing. Can turn off when I want to. Can still press the normal extra loud button if you want to after call connects. Customisation in advanced. I'm using Samsung ph.
Works exceptionally except for when after disconnecting a Bluetooth device it doesn't properly revert. The icon goes red instead of green on phone calls. The only way to revert back to normal operation is to: [Reset bluetooth status] by clicking the 3 dots in the top right hand corner of the app.
Amazing Fantastic Perfect Unbeatable....This app is so simple yet fixes the phone speakerphone so YOU choose when the phonecall comes out of the phones loud speaker or not. For me,it is perfect as I set it up to put my phone calls through the loud speaker when the phone call needs to be heard by my friends or partners.
Works as described, also on Pie. As a detail, the call app's own indicator for speaker mode, does not change, which is slightly confusing, but of no functional importance, and could be the caller app's fault not detecting the change.
It works almost all the time. After connecting/ disconnecting the Bluetooth headset, sometimes I have to reset Bluetooth status to work. This is pretty annoying. Other than this it's OK.
Installed the speakerphone app to replace another, which used too much battery power. Is only half the size (936 kb) and works very well, no problems. Even though it's a free app, I donated-to me it's worth every penny. Well done!
This app was great until I got my new S21+ running Android 11. Worked like a charm on my old Note 9, but I guess it just doesn't work with the newer OS. If you have an older phone, I highly recommend this app, but on a newer phone, I guess I'll have to find a different solution.
This app was phenomenal until 2 days ago. I installed the One UI 3 update on my phone and now it doesn't work, even when using the toggle button. I'm so sad as I have used this across multiple phones for years with no problem.
It was good while it worked,but it no longer activates the speaker mode on incoming call. App runs and is visible, but doesn't change speaker setting.
This app does not work on my Moto g power. Disappointed because it does not have Auto speaker built in like my previous phones. The last phone I had that didn't have an auto speaker built-in was about 2 years ago and I installed this app then and it worked and that is the only reason why I did not give a 1 star. Not sure how this app works and what is should do but am looking for an app that automatically enables speaker when a number is dialled... and possibly give options to automatically switch back to normal mode when the call is picked....
Set this up for my father's phone as he's legally blind. Unfortunately, it would seem that it doesn't work for this model. Gave 3 stars because I know it works as I have tried it on my LG-V20 running Android 8.0.0, so it seems to be an incompatibility issue, possibly work the OS (Android 10). Would love it if it could be fixed.
It's a no-go on Pixel 4a5g with Android 11. It worked well on my Moto X4 with Android 10. Hate the poor documentation and experimenting with apps that are claimed to be compatible. Now on to find a similar app that might work. Wish me luck...
i have 4 phones and it works perfectly on 3 of them. THL W8 beyond working fine Motorola Nexus 6 working fine Samsung J7 works fine OP6T McLaren edition not working i consider this app as a highly recommended because i found it very useful on other phones rated 5 stars. NOTE: app needs update to work on 6T. pls update it
This app was essential previously, but then stopped working on new versions of Android. On a whim, just tried it on my Note 10 running Android 10 and it works perfectly! Thank you!
Loud speaker turns off if the proximity sensor gets triggered..I don't want that to happen as the idea of using this app for me is so I can keep the phone in my pocket and still talk on it and continue working with my hands. Have I missed something in the options ?
Doesn't work on Android Pie :( Used to work on android 10 with my s8, and i loved it. Hope it'll get updated, but the last one was in 2018, so i assume it's been abandoned.
LOVELY, when I get a car call, I don't have to fiddle with the speaker button, also goes into normal mode when I hold it up to my ear. This app can save lives by having less distracted drivers
Very useful for my specific purpose, but it plays the notification sound over my ringtone when I get a call. I'd like to be able to disable that.
worked very well with my old phone, S7. now i upgraded to S21+, it doesn't work anymore. i hope it will get updated soon. i love this app so much and hate for it to be useless.
Trying to use this for hard of hearing, not for hands free use. Proximity sensor completely incapacitates it for this use. I've tried calibrating the proximity sensor and enabling the fix for not initializing at the start of a call, neither helps. The only thing that helps is turning the phone to face away from me, but I don't want to do that. There needs to be an option to disregard the proximity sensor and simply start the call with speaker on.
