With AutoContacts you can get lots of info on your contacts.
Start by using the Tasker action "Plugin->AutoContacts" and writing a name in the "Name or Nickname" field. Then you can use any of the AutoContacts variables to call, email, sms, or anything else you want to do with the info. You could navigate to a contact's home address, or open his website on a browser. You could even create a notification when his birthday is near. It's up to you what you do with your contact's info!
These are some of the variables you get when you query your contacts:
%acname
- Contact Name%acnickname
- Contact Nickname%acnumber
- Contact Phone Number%acnumbertype
- Contact Phone Number Type (Work, Home, etc)%acemail
- Contact Email Address%acemailtype
- Contact Email Address Type (Home Work, etc)%acaddress

- Contact Birthday, Anniversary or other%aceventtype
- Type of the event in %acevent
Total time spans can be useful to find out the total number. For instance, you could write "Anniversary was 542 days ago"%acdayssinceevent
- Total Number of days since the event first happened%acmonthssinceevent
- Total Number of months since the event first happened%acyearssinceevent
- Total Number of years since the event first happened
Cummulative time spans can be useful if you want to write stuff like "Birthday happened 12 years, 2 months and 15 days ago".%acdayssinceeventc

This app is a very helpful plugin for Tasker. It makes it possible to search up any contact with their name or nickname and recieve info from the contact which you can use in other tasks.
the free version doesn't work for me, it keeps saying "only 20 contacts to interact with" and I only have 16.. and when I refresh contacts it says 16.
Couldn't install on a OnePlus 6 running Android Pie Oxygen Open Beta 10. Still getting an error from Play Store.
I set up an AutoContacts task, specified a phone number and just wanted the address (%acaddress) of a contact. It works as expected on my device with Android 5.0. But on 4.3 and 5.1.1, none of the %acxxxxx variables was populated! The script always gave an error about Email.
Love all these apps but this doesn't work at all. Gets stuck when running the task and eventually times out.
This is probably your best app, and was worth paying for. Does what I needed it to, which was query my contacts via my voice input, so I can call them or send them a text message by my voice. Thank you for this one!
Birthdays in Tasker give a mistake for 1 month - the contact has a birthday in June but all variables shows that the birthday is in May. Although the birthday list in the app shows a correct month.
After a few days of no response, it suddenly works. I have no idea what I did, but now I'm happy! ^^ Now I can send messages to anyone by voice :D
Doesn't appear to be working, never recognizes contact even with exact name
In lollipop doesn't work
Can someone please tell me what this can do that I can't already with my contacts app? I can call people by their name and nickname. I don't understand what the use is of this as a separate app to Google Now?
The acphone variable places %20 throughout phone numbers
After lollipop update it was not working, but works now. I had to reselect some of the admin settings after the update.
Its a window lickers app
I have two contact profile like gmail and cooperate email contact. Soto contracts picking only 300 contacts out of total 1100 .
I love this, but I found it to match partial contacts to be annoying. There should be an option to require exact match. Also, the option to choose "nickname only" would be nice.
Great app!! Great developer!! Love all the Auto Plugins for Tasker they really help make possibilities endless.
Good plugin concept, I'm not entirely using it to its potential.
Does what it says
Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Most of the time it's just faster for me to do it manually. Sometimes it will call a number while I'm already in a call. Not ready to give up yet because this is something that has awesome potential.
Excellent app with unlimited possibilities. The only limiting factor is your imagination. The devoloper is eager to offer support (good support too). Almost no learning curve, in no time at all you'll think you're a software engineer!
The app worked for a bit but all of a sudden started having issues. I use AutoRemote to send a command to my phone from a tablet. I then try to use AutoContacts to dial the number based on contact name. It worked fine for a few days. Now I can still see the autoremote command arriving to my phone. But, if my phone is locked, the number is not dialled and nothing happens. If the phone is unliocked, it takes 5-10 mins for AutoContacts to realize that a number needs to be dialed :( Great idea, but needs a fix.
