YOU CAN UNINSTALL THIS APP BY GOING INTO SETTINGS -> LOCATION & SECURITY -> SELECT DEVICE ADMINISTRATORS -> DELETE DEVREC PERMISSION!!
It uses the proximity sensor and the magnetic field sensor (i.e. if you have a magnet in your phone case, then with the magnetic field sensor the phone is able to better determine if it's in the case) to lock/unlock the phone.
You can also mute incoming calls when phone is turned upside down.
Please note, that the sensors in your phone may be very inaccurate (for me, the proximity sensor is good if I put the phone into my pocket, but if I put it into my phone case, the proximity sensor just reports bad data sometimes, so I had to use the magnet sensor there.)
A good calibration should also help a lot.

Nice app, the best I've found so far. Would like it better if it had an option to autostart. Also the haptic feedback needs an alternative, since some tablets do not support vibration. Some kind of a sound for lock/unlock will be cool. Another thing that will be really helpful is the ability to set the magnetic threshold for all the 3 axis, not the sum, since if I use a tablet case with a magnet on the cover, I'll keep the cover either over the display, or on the back of the tablet. This way I'll have very noticeable difference in the values for one of the axis, but the sum will be almost the same. I'd be happy to buy this app if it gets paid once these things are fixed. Thanks!
Didn't do what it said on my s5 and now won't let me uninstall the app. Even tho it says it is. Hmmmm
Awesome app Does what it says, perfect for My Samsung galaxy mini... but needs to be turned off in landscape view for writing something with 2 hands
sort of works, but in pocket I find the phone keeps switching to active and then locked as the phone moves so I guess that's down to the IR detecting proximity changes. Also, this app does not uninstall, either via market or apps manager
how i can unninstall this app .when i press unninstall . he writes me that " uninstall not successful".please help.
Almost perfect, apps deactivate by itself needs to reactivate and does not start upon reboot, slight delay to turn on.

LG optimus f6. The app won't uninstall....I've gone and deactivated it but it still says that I still need to deactivate it....I'm running out of space on my phone and this stupid app uninstall

Does not work on galaxy note. Sensor threshold hard to slide, why not set by sensor detected value?

There should be an option to disable proximity screen off when phone is in landscape mode (writing with two hands).
HTC Sensation XE. Usually after roughly 5 locks it seems to just stop working, I have to open the app, stop the service and then run it again, which is becoming tedious. A fix would be very nice, even if it became a cheap paid app
