We have had this system for a year now. It's been hit and miss with operation. There have been times when it fails to adhere to the timer we set. Within the last day or two, it COMPLETELY cleared all of my shades. Now I have to go through and reprogram everything. Started to try that task, but it will not pair with my remote. Getting more disappointed with this app as time goes on.
Urgently needs a UX architect. It's obviously designed by and for a software developer, not for users. Terribly complex handling, lacking useful and easy to implement features like quick access on phone home screen without having to open the app first, then navigating to scenes and selecting a scene. No way to simply group devices with combined up/down buttons, eg. all on the same side of the room. No way to use seasonslly changing sun position to move the right blinds down only when needed. etc
App is horrible. Fought most of the day to get the hub connected to my router, then started setting up devices per room. Set scenes and set timers for the scenes. Get an error "offline" and can't control my shades. Hub is flashing once every 5 seconds indicating it's connected to the cloud server.
Device Offline All The TIME!! This is worse than remote. Remote has no problem opening or closing the shades. However the hub has a distance way shorter than remote. I have two shades side by side and one would work, the other would say offline. You need to fix this, we pay a lot of money for the shade and remote!!
Poor quality battery, poor app. Have to keep charging the blinds even if we don't automate or use it at all. It seems battery keeps draining. Some blinds have to be charged more frequently than others even tough they all have same automation and same size of blinds. Charing plug of the blinds is flimsy plastic that u have to be careful not to break. App is useless. Take long time to load and lately the app pops up permission setting which leads to app now being useless.
IFTTT and this app was working well past 4 months. Then i have deleted all scenes and recreated new scenes as modifications. BUT still use OLD scenes on IFTTT which is not exists anymore. Deleted IFTTT account / reconfigured automated pulse and still no luck. DON'T know why IFTTT using all scenes data.
the main point is that the blinds operate according to a certain time. the clock in this app and/or the hub do not reset when there is any interruption of power. pretty annoying to have blinds operating in the early hours of the morning.
Worked for a while, hence the 2 stars. Timer function stopped working 3 weeks ago for our blinds/shades. Tried to set new timers, erase old....no good. Now have to use remote
I have 14 shades on my porch which open and close at set times to reduce heat from the sun and does the trick when it works. Often get "THIS DEVICE IS OFFLINE." It gives option of retry or cancel but so far retry doesn't fix it. (**UPDATE** It does eventually come back online. However, if offline when timer sets scene offline shades are excluded.) HELP. "Customer Support?" What customer support? I hope developer or Rollease occasionally read reviews. So far no responses from emails to Rollease.
UPDATE: app now appears working three stars for being functional if a bit clunky. Some IFTTT support while you are at it would be wonderful.
Can't even do the initial setup! What garbage! Really angry that I need to return the hub and find a new way to control my motorized blinds.
Setting up blinds is a nightmare, the app is slow to respond. I wish I had purchased another system!!!!
Probably the worst app I've ever installed.. Doesn't work, user interface and instructions are awful. For the $10k I paid for these blinds I hoped for better.
Constantly loses connection. App is slow to load rooms. Really needs an update.
new update of 12/29 does not work. app keeps crashing and i can't use it at all.
Set blinds to open at 8am and blinds open at 8pm. All settings are 12 hours off. When setting custom positions the percentage must be entered twice. This app is garbage.
Crashes, very slow. Save yourself immense frustration and link it with IFTTT
Ok when it works. Latest update will not work at all. Tried uninstalling. Still does not work.

12/28/2018 update constantly crashes on opening -- 1/9/2019 update now works. thank you
if would help of there was notification to the user when the service cannot connect to the hub

The devices disappear from the app randomly forcing you to reset it up.
Just installed, can't add a room, rendering it useless!
Doesn't really work that well. What a disappointment ! I would not recommend buying this hub.

Regret the Purchase In retrospect, I wish I had read the reviews of this product and the associated app - they work terribly. The app is buggy, challenging to use to program the device, and was clearly an afterthought by the company. It also lacks some pretty basic features that modern 'smart home' apps have, such as sunrise and sunset timers. The device itself is also very bad. It can only be setup on a 2.4GHz wireless network. The timers I managed to setup work inconsistently. Do not buy!
