Automaton Locker-Smarter lock

The app does close the screen when cover the proximity sensor. The app doesn't open the screen when uncover proximity. The app doesn't respect the. "Smart Lock" Android function. I have to give unlock code. No use,as all also till now. Uninstalled right away Even 2 stars is to much. It just doesn't seem to work properly on my phone Nokia 4.2 Android'10

Issues on Mi Note Pro 10: sometimes fliplock works other times not (I was interested in and tried flip-lock only). Autostart for app enabled, energy control "No limits" was set too, all the "other permissions" were allowed.

I have been using this approved cor about a year now. I have found it to be a grate tool for a hotspot. Or a feathered meet book on 4glts applications. Very happy with it.

Very Good system and adjustments but cumbersome to adjust all setting and even then it does not work all the time

The app stops after about 2 or 3 weeks

I need a locker that locks when the flip cover has been closed for more than 5s (to prevent it locking if I briefly have my hand over it while playing a game) then unlocks instantly when the cover is opened. This app looks nice for what it is but it looks like I need to find another or use Tasker.

This app works great with my Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra. I tried numerous proximity sensor screen on/off apps but they all fell short for various reasons. This one simply does what it's supposed to.... without being overly complicated. Kudos to the devs.

There should be setting for -ve magnetic field , i.e. it only locks when magnetic field is more 10 where I needed it to be less than 10, in normal conditions it shows 40+ field, that I will use set unlock threshold. So just add a scaling protocol. Best is to provide a scaling range (min and max threshold each for locking and unlock) . Updated: can you please release an update with above features.

After trying several other apps, so far this free app works best for my device Nexus 5 . But it still has some issues that must be addressed. Sometimes it has to be restarted because for no apparent reason it would just stop working. Other than that I would have rated it 5 ★.

Was very buggy on my device, a Huawei P10 plus. While it worked as intended it was decent and why I still give it 3/5. Unfortunately was too annoying when the app failed to resume operation after the sensor turned the screen off. Uninstalled.

The best app of its kind in playstore. Tried the rest but these similar apps always has some bugs. This one works flawlessly on my phone. You won't even notice that it's activated after sometime. My only advise is not to play with its default settings. I chose other sensors but it cause my screen to timeout almost immediately. Couldn't access the app again to undo my changes. Had to manually remove battery to force a reboot to undo my changes. Be warned! Otherwise the best for me. Thks developer.

Calibrating the magnet sensor especially for the lock value is pretty hard. Actualy impossible, as the cover is laying on the device at the point you want the app to lock the phone. Some kind of wizzard who does the calibration automatically (vibrate when calibration for locking is done) would be nice. Further I can' access the Padfine Station's light sensor through the app. It only reads the primary light sensor which is of course covered up as the phone is resting in the back of the station.

I have 10" tablet and magnetic flip cover which has magnets at the back side and at the lower front of the flip cover (Landscape position) and the sensor itself is near the top left of the phone, so the magnetic sensor doesn't seem to get values from them.. so for that reason i have taped a very small magnet on the flip cover in a way that when i close the flip cover it comes closer to sensor and hence sensor value goes very high (more than 1200, as measured by this app itself) and when opened value gets lesser .....BUT The problem its that after some time of usage the functionality gets reversed i.e it shows more value when it should show less, hence malfunction (opposite functionality)....i doubt it is caused by the inbuilt magnets inside the flip cover....so is there anyway to overcome this? So that it only takes value from the magnet which i have taped (hint: always consider higher value, as the inbuilt magnet will always have less value), i don't know if i m talking is rubbish,,,but if you could do something about it, gonna be really awesome for tablet users,,, Galaxy note 10.1 n8000 Omni rom kitkat 4.4.2

This app works almost perfectly on my Sony Z Ultra Kitkat 4.4.4 stock. Using less battery is what I hope for upcoming updates. You might have to go through lots of trials and errors to get best setting for your devices. "Save/Restore Settings" is what this app missing so far, as I've spent a lot of times to find my best setting and don't want to lose it if reinstalling the app is required.

Uninstalled but my regular lockscreen no longer locks even after reboot. Menu had no clarity in words or even logic. Could not even tell what settings were set. Tutorials not tutorials.

Not really of any use. Irritates at time. My phone was unlock and was using it and everytime my hard passes near the proximity sensor, it locks.

I set the Lock/Unlock to Proximity sensor, and no matter what I do the apps in Ignore App List doesn't seem to have an effect. Same with Night Mode - as if these two functions are being ignored being set. Please fix! Samsung Galaxy S3 SGH-I747M on JellyBean 4.3 Stock.

Really love this app, makes my phone feel alive. Just wakes up when I need it or goes off with a sweep of my hand.

I'm using go locker for my lock screen and sometime when I try to unlock the screen just blackout by itself. I only love the vibrate function of this app when the phone lock by itself.

It doesn't work when I clean the ram of my mobile. Kindly add a function to auto start after cleaning the ram. Otherwise it's working awesomely!

Configuration is not so easy. I had good results on nexus 4 and 5 but doesn't work well on nexus 7 where I had to configure it for using the light sensor instead of proximity.

Hey can you come up with something like s view window option As I am using s view cover (china made single window s view same like note3) but have to use with a "smart view cover" app which is not battery friendly.

Over all it's a very delicate app, detailed and efficient, but it's not staying in for me, even without any autokill function on, and on charge, I'm sorry

It used to work reasonably well when I was running Kitkat. I upgraded to Lollipop and it is unlocking screen by proximity sensor maybe one out of ten times. I have the AT&T Galaxy S4.

Simply the best, after install-uninstall similar app. Just need more option to auto start after rebooting.
