Autorun Manager
Autorun Manager (formerly Autorun Killer) is an ultimate tool that lets you disable all the autostarting apps you don't need. Unfortunately this app is misunderstood many times so please read help carefully and/or mail the developer if you have questions.
There are many applications that automatically start when you turn on your device; many of these you don't use or need, they just consume your valuable resources. This app sports a basic mode for the regular users and an advanced mode for power users with rooted devices.
Autorun Manager in basic mode lets you manage applications that start up when you boot your device. Applications are terminated right after they start, but if the application is programmed to restart itself this can fail. Please note that some applications are written so that they cannot be stopped because of the android system design. These kind of applications are marked as 'self-restarter' and are better to be left enabled.
In advanced mode you gain control over all the system-wide events and enable-disable application starts. This is the ultimate solution to control what you want to be started, but you also can break apps, so this feature is only for experienced users with rooted devices.

Very good app, does exactly what is should. You can easily disable any receiver for any app. Great way to stop Spotify from breaking due to the sd card being mounted after boot on my device. Make sure you have root and busybox tho!
Looks good app to purchase. But confused as it is not listing all apps. Some installed apps are not in the list, which I need disable. 'You need pro......' prompt was quite embarrassing.
Confusing and unclear. I want two apps to start automatically, but this app lists all of the apps to start automatically... I don't understand. Not intuitive.
Difficult to use. Way too many full page ads that you can't escape from.
Autorun Manager never opened even once! after I downloaded it there was only a black screen when I tied to open it.
Pro / advanced mode doesnt work anymore, crashes during receivers scan. Android 5.0 on Galaxy Note 3

Doesn't work on modern/not root devices but they clearly say this when the application start, because of that they deserve 5 starts.
Free version almost useless, 10 receivers max. So I could just use it on 2 apps!!
prob ok for other apps but aliexpress app isn't found so I can't stop it from autorunning

On 99% of the apps this works perfect, some apps just re-enable themselves I Google apps which are just very intrusive. Great support from developer as well. Downloaded another receiver app which shows apps this does not and other receivers. Developer needs to update app to catch these apps and other receivers.
No updates in ages. No support for the app. I bought the pro version and I still get errors telling me to upgrade to pro :(

Does not work anymore: does not alter receivers. Pro has ads. In short, worthless adware junk.
Used to be good. Now can't really test if it's working unless I buy the pro key. As it stands it doesn't do a thing as apps are still running even when disabled. Good luck moving onto something else

Okay now... This app's info clearly states the device needing to be ROOTED! If your device is NOT ROOTED then you will not be able to benefit from most of it's "power..." However, this apps "power" can potientually be exploited provided your specific device's capabilities and or features itself provides. For Me & a Stylo 6 this app works just fine for simply a effective boot/startup manager to aid in your efforts to block those ever annoying apps that just won't get off your boot list...
