This is an excellent app for showing how to read and pronounce sounds written in IPA. Every consonant has an associated waveform diagram and animation of what all the parts of the mouth are doing.
Absolutely brilliant. Completely outclasses all other apps of this nature. For anyone looking for an international phonetic alphabet reference to keep on their phone, this is perfect. The only thing it is lacking is non-pulmonic consonants.
This app seems like it has a lot of information which is great, but when I'm on the pages that pronounce each individual letter, it wont let me scroll down, so it cuts off a lot of the information! I'd love to see this fixed.
The app is awesome, has everything that can help to produce the correct sounds. However consonant pages are unavailable for scrolling, which is pretty sad. Would've been awesome if it was fixed
Amazing app! it has a lot of information, including the latest version of the official IPA chart. It also has a good amount of theoretical information, which makes it easy to read the chart. Besides, you can see a detailed explanation of each sound. The best IPA chart!
Fantastic!!!! I've never thought that such an app will exist - with complete explanations and ILLUSTRATIONS (!!) of phonetic symbols, with spectrograms(!!) and animated organs of speech movements - magnificent!! This my favourite app EVER!!!!! Huuuuge thank you to the developers👏👏👏
This app is almost perfect. It provides so much information and it makes an excellent easy reference for sounds of the IPA. Anyone interested in linguistics should download this app
The best phonetics app I've ever seen, the most professional one on the store as well. No trash, just pure practice and a very convenient phoneme samples library.
Very well made! The games are helpful to review the IPA and train your ear to recognise the different phones it contains.
This app is good. But what about the /w/ sound? The labio-velar approximant is common in English, and it might be common elsewhere, too. It's missing from the app.

Badly designed. The articulators diagram is very unrealistic. Also the IPA memorization "game" doesnt work.

I am really liking the app. It is pretty and informative, and very well organised. You should update the IPA chart to the latest version, from 2018. There seems to be an issue with some configuration: My phone crashed completely when I was browsing the app, specifically when looking about the lateral fricative voiced consonant, ɮ.
