Pretty good app. A little mysterious if you are not sure of all the permissions required. Otherwise I really like Avast and have used their other products for many years
I original got this year's ago when instructions for use were simple and direct. Now they're so confusing I'm not sure what I'm doing.
U dont have a version compatible for my phone. I want to uninstall it. But for that I cannot deactivate the administrator right.it comes back instantaneously. I am stuck. Please help
Avast removed many features of anti theft that used to be free but now you have to pay for. you can't even locate your phone anymore. what's the point? put it back the way it was Avast.
Uninstalled an old version of the app as it was sending sms's and charging me £50 a month. Uninstalled as per advice from Avast and it's still charging me. Avast if you're listening please help solve this.
Lovely app, my phone comes with avast antivirus preinstalled so the antitheft app is perfect, just needs more support and updates seperate from the antivirus bundle on playstore
Such an easy app to use, easy and safe, just wish other security app's gave as much security for free....
Used to be great. But in recent years, many of the features that used to be free when I first installed this app are now available only if you pay.

I still use it because it is the only one that uses SMS to find the device and control it.
I have the anti theft on my device, the app has been updated but my device cant do the update for some reason. Can you please assist?

Good experience, easy to use
App auto launched without user input and would not accept my pin. Pin reset function is broken, page does not go anywhere. After the phone verbal alert finally shut itself off, and drained my battery, app decided my pin was OK after all. Trying to reach Avast support online was useless, and as icing on that cake, Avast theft tracker didn't even recognize itself as installed. Cost me a client, since it's a business phone. I think I'd rather just accept the phone as stolen than rely on Avast.
