Calls are poor. Hard for client to hear. I just quit & call the client w/o the app. Now they can hear.
Cannot make outbound calls on Android 12. Sounds scrambled. Can receive calls fine, though. Uninstalling and reinstalling with all permissions and still no luck! Any updates for this, guys?
Eventhough I like the app, I am having trouble with it. The app will turn itself on. This happens to me, without exaggeration, at least 25-30+ times a day. There is a setting that allows for the app to "turn itself on" but I checked and that setting is off. The app has been reinstalled by me and several tech's and I still have the problem. I am using the app on a Samsung 10e. If anyone knows of a fix send it to Samsung Corp and to Avaya Corp and hopefully they will pass it to me.
Functionally, it works fine to connect to my work phone system. but it annoys me to no end that I can't exit the app. when I exit, it relaunches itself again within 30 seconds. Every time. the only way I can actuall kill the app is to reboot my phone. I don't see any other reviews complaining of this issue. maybe it's just my phone? I have a new Samsung S10 - only a week old. it didn't do this on my old S7. I would give 5 stars otherwise, but this one thing is enough for me to hate this app.
if I close the app, it doesn't ring anymore? I have to have the app open in order for it to function. why is the push not working anymore on iphone? if I close it, my phone never alerts. please fix asap.
I've been using this app since March and had no problems until yesterday. It's no longer popping up on the screen when a call is coming in and I have to unlock each time. It has so started not letting certain calls come in. It is becoming a real problem since I use this app to be able to work from home and handle the offices incoming calls.
Even on the latest update, the app is still very poor. I work in IT and unfortunately, our company uses this for remote working. It simply isn't reliable. Most of the time, it will either not ring or it will ring and not let you answer. The only use this app has is as a call log for the calls you've missed. Terrible app, it needs scrapped and started again as all these "fixes" don't change a thing.
After recent update app is working smoothly on my device. Thanks Avaya for fixing it.
Works good to receive calls and no issues yet sending calls but when I have my bluetooth headset connected it automatically goes to speaker phone even though it shows the bluetooth icon on the screen. Also would be nice if this could be set to run automatically between certain hours. Like have it set to run from 8 to 5 so at 8 it starts automagically and at 5 it stops and signs out automatically
If you have a connection problem or wrong password a few times... that's it. You whole configuration is deleted again.
Features need adding to the app that can be used from the handset such as a group hold. We work 24/7 out and about, we need to get notifications on the app from a hunt group voicemail, but currently only get an email to 1 email address, not useful if that person is not working or does not have access to their email. Desperately need to be able to forward a hunt group to another number. Get calls on the app and phone at same time. Calls drop swapping 4G to wifi.
Bad design. If you update your password on your corresponding account, you get an error message that your password needs to be updated in the app. But when you go to update in-ap, you get stuck on the accounts page trying to autoconnect with the old password. Seems like an obvious design flaw. there should be a timeout on the autoconnect, at a minimum.
After the recent update. I'm experiencing worst service. Even though I've strong Wi-Fi signal the application doesnt gets connected and keeps crashing very frequently. The new issue which started from last week is latency issues. It Atleast takes 2-3 secs to get the number displayed on the screen after typing. It's causing me a huge inconvenience. Developers please fix it asap.
I am a sales person for an AVAYA authorised reseller, I have been using Equinox through our Aura 8 system for a little while now. My verdict..... it could be better. The app is a battery hog, the addition of a dark theme could help with this. Also it seems designed for PC and ported to an app, if menu items started at the bottom it would better suit one handed use. I like calendar intergration and one click conference calls. but otherwise your standard softphone. Also no Android Auto Support!
Not receiving calls, going straight to voicemail before my phone even rings. I cannot make calls out through the app. Also, there is nothing to identify if it's someone calling my job or my actual cell directly. Definitely needs improving. Right now its useless for telework. The only thing that functions correctly is listening to my messages left on my work phone
Call quality from this mobile app is terrible. They just keep blaming my connection!!
Rings twice fast before it moves on to others, I have an excellent router and ISP so other than the initial connection lag of about 5 seconds the call quality is ok. My biggest issue seems to be if my phone goes idle ( screen blacks out) it doesn't ring at all. So my cell has to be plugged in all day.
Several calls daily not received on phones. Mostly with Androids, but I-phones as well. App freezes on I-phones. Sometimes can't answer calls. Been working with support with no luck thus far. They just released version 3.17.1. Still am not getting calls and now cannot place calls using the app.
Terrible. Doesn't work. I need to use this to work from home. It only works if you keep the app open and don't let your mobile lock. When it rings there is no option to actually pick up the call. I have to use the soft console software on my laptop to pick up the call but then I can't hear the person on the other end.
Seems to be a bad issue where everytime I place a new call, it won't default to my bluetooth earbuds. It says its connected to them, but plays audio through my phone instead. I have to place the call on speaker, then switch back to my earbuds for it to work.
• Pressing call reject for 'Hunt Group' or 'Transfered' calls does nothing... the app keeps ringing, over and over and over. - It's IMPOSSIBLE to silence it. Pressing volume buttons does nothing, pressing power button does nothing. • App seems to ignore 'DND' mode. Professionally embarrassing when you're in a meeting, only to have your phone scream into life when you've put DND mode on. - How long has this "Equinox/Workplace/Spaces/Zang" yada yada nonsense been out now? And Avaya still hasn't got the basics sorted. - Perhaps Avaya should stop worrying about the stupid myriad names it keeps using and instead get core features like a user-friendly 'Call Transfer' feature implemented!? Still a long way from where it needs to be.
Keeps auto signing in back in. We are using this as an after hours solution and the problem is the app on my phone and my boss's phone keeps auto signing back in during the day even though I have it disabled. When it does this it deactivates the regular line during the day and nobody can call in unless we pull up our phones and manually sign back out.
When I use the app to place calls, I can hear the other person fine but they tell me I'm breaking up. My internet connection works fine with VOIP services otherwise. It's only when I'm using the IX Workplace that people tell me that I'm breaking up. Is there any way to improve the call quality through the app?
Great APP allows you to be connected with your colleagues, you feels like you are at your disk. I it has problems when connected to home Internet (fibre obtic) it keeps disconnecting?? You need to check this out. Otherwise it is excellent APP.
The app relaunches after about 30 seconds of exiting. not great when it's a weekend and I'm not planning on taking my work calls. This had continued even after the last update. Please sort this out, I had to force exit the app to make it stop.
Everytime I exit and log back in, my Next Meetings won't reconnect to Exchange and I have to uninstall and reinstall to resolve the issue. Update: The issue seems to have been resolved. Changed rating to 4 stars. Thanks for getting this resolved.
The app keep closing after 1-2 days of usage, I mean once i open the app it will be running well for about 2 days, then it will auto. close. My phone is running with Android 12 one UI 4.1, another issue that call notifications delay sometimes, i am not sure if it is related to problem in the app or some other thing.
