Useless. Crashes constantly when trying to view playback
Finally started work after update. Android 7.1.2
I have used this app for years and it has been perfect. After ATT forced an update to my Android phone to version 7 the app no longer works. I am reading that there are no plans to support new operating system versions. UGH! This is a FIVE STAR app but it seem to have been thrown in the trash by Aver with NO replacement options. So, the best is now the worst. I tried IP Cam Viewer but it lacks TONS of the basic functionality, form and general usability of the aver app (can only connect to one cam a at a time). Does anyone have a suggestion for viewing Avermedia or similar based camera NVRs?
Working just fine up until Android 7 then without any warning I am unable to connect to my business premises, at this time still working on Android 6. Extremely annoying!
It never works. I have a hard time to get it even connected.
Support responded to my email that there are no future plans to allow Android 7.0 or higher. I now installed IP Cam Viewer Basic and it works perfectly!
Since update this app is not functioning. I'm the only one with Android and I can't do my job. All the other iPhone people can use this app for iPhone.
Worked fine before the new Android update on the Nexus 6p... Need this app to make sure the truck yard is safe.

My security cameras worked until Android and Verizon updated their phone now I have 1000.00 dollars invested in phones that will not work my security system and no one can fix the problem everyone says it someone else is fault but Verizon sold me the phones and made the cameras work for 2 months now it's the apps fault they claim but the app came from their play station and my kids has phones from another company and the security system still works on their phone I would stay away from Verizon

Not working with 7.1.1
I don't know what you all did but after that update the app constantly crashes. It will not let me view in landscape, and the playback is broken. It wants to download the whole day's data to review it. I don't think they make a 1TB SD card for consumers yet. Please offer a rollback version. I have over 100 customers that are very unhappy as well as myself. Galaxy S5.

Love it life saver
It wasn't easy to figure out, but after tons of work I've got my i-viewer v5.3.1030.31 working on my [Moto z-force Droid] with Android 8.0.0, - still okay as of as of Sept. 2019. One strange issue is that it doesn't want to work ['connection failed'] through my home networks wireless modem, but it does work fine on the Verizon over-the-air cellular connection. I'm sure there's a configuration fix in the modem, but I'm concerned about breaking it, These things are a real dog to get working if you're a semi-newbie.
