AVG Cleaner for Xperia™

First impression of the app is really good. I like the way things are broken down and explained in a more easy way to understand. I like the visual aid of the fuction (i.e: which apps are the best/worst on battery, storage, data... etc...). I did not grow up using much "modern technology" and i still don't know much so for someone like myself ; the communication aspect in the "directions" and function of this app is perfect.

Thank you for this wonderful app! It is free with ads that are discrete. It totally cleans my mobile phone's memory on multiple layers. You can choose from a variety of memory optimization tools, like deleting bad photos, or similar photos, hybernating apps, deep cleaning of app cache safely and much more! I had 7 GB free space and my phone was slow as a slug and after downloading your app, I got to 20 GB free storage space!! Amazing 🙏🏻

Excellent app! Comes in very useful, especially when you have a app that needs to be updated regularly and you're told that you need to free up a certain amount of space by deleting some of your existing apps. Try using your AVG Cleaner first, to clear out some useless cache and you might find that you don't have to lose any of your existing apps at all. Great for speeding up the response time of your phone too!

I'm in installing after 2 days because just like their other apps no matter if you just cleaned it the app always seems to find more and more "junk files" but no matter if it's hours, days, weeks of use does it ever says it's complete and nothing to remove. That's impossible so that indicates that it either intentionally leaves stuff or is giving you a false reading after it scans to make it appear as though its removing junk all the time. It's misleading people and not doing what it says. False advertising don't buy it.

This app is brilliant, I have it on my Samsung Xperia XA and my Amazon Fire tablet, it has been so helpful as previously I was going through my files and deleting manually which was so frustrating, tedious and time consuming when I could have been doing more useful things! 5 starts all the way although it does keep crashing, I believe that's because my phone was refurbished when I bought it, no issues whatsoever on my tablet :)

What can I say!! Read a lot of reviews saying how good it is, it's supposed to be add free, do this do that and it's everything that folk say it is but it's nothing like what they say and those that have given it one star I can relate to, it appears to be a second part of a upgrade from the introductory offer. It's fairly zapped my battery life with pointless notifications every quarter hour needing permission to access other parts of the phone, waste of space this junk cleaner is

Works very well. Great at hibernating Apps that chew up battery life, also makes me feel secure that they're not in use, for security purposes! At the end of some scans however, ads to upgrade are blaring, using scare tactics, to upgrade to the professional App. However, overall a great App with less intrusive ads and pop-ups compared to Apps like Clean Master in Google Play. Runs in background, always working. Also prompts you to download to boost Ram (?), great App!

Love this app. Well, I love the paid version. The free version had too many ads, and that annoyed me, even though the features are great. The ads on the free version are the reason I ended up buying this app. But no regrets, this app does what it says, and makes it SO much easier to keep my phone clean and working well!

Updated review Been using this app for a while now and can't fault it really. Cleans up my phone easily and quickly. If you're not tech savvy with phone like me just click and it cleans cache etc. One 5 second ad at the end

Excellent addition to my long-standing use of AVG Anti-Virus. I had no idea so much junk was left all over my phones when I regularly cleared the Cache out. AVG Cleaner seems to find everything useless and even warns you if you accidentally select somethinv potentially useful to have Cleaned Out.

I've only been using this app for a few weeks and so far it had proved excellent. I didn't realise how sluggish my 3 year old Sony was because of various detritus clogging it up. Quick and efficient at scanning and cleaning aswell as optimising photos and files etc. Also pretty cheap to upgrade to the pro version of this and the antivirus.

I really like this app. I work in IT and I was taught in college and in my professional career that apps like this were useless because they did more harm than good. I, for some reason, decided to keep this one for a while to see if the above was true. 1 year and 7 months later I still have the app and use it every day, more than once or twice. Well worth downloading and the ads don't bombard you.

Installed to test its capabilities only to find it was not responsive while using the quick clean feature, Which is the main feature i believe. It stayed at 0% percent for 5 minutes, and im using the Xperia ZX 2. I'd like to believe that it works for other models, so I'll leave a rating of 3 stars.

Amazing! I have recently changed from an iphone to a sony experia l3 and the AVG cleaner popped up so i started using it and i can't believe how good it is. All phones should have it. It clears unused data, makes space and checks your phone if anything can be cleared.would definitely recommend!

It would get 5 stars if it actually deleted the photos after optimization. Now I have double, if not triple of the same photo 😒. Which takes up more space, thus, making the entire purpose for the AVG Cleaner counterintuitive. It DOES do a good quick clean though.

AVG. You have renewed my subscription and the app has reverted to a FREE version and the licence has vanished. I've tried all the instructions supplied to try and fix it to no avail, I have a free version of an app I have previously paid you for, any ideas???? Cancelled sub, unhappy customer.

Cleans like nothing else I've seen before, quick way to clear up space. It sorts bad photos from good photos and u can review them and pick the ones you want to get rid of. Perfect does annoying low storage notifications.

In my opinion, the app can be a bit hit & miss with a few inaccuracies. This app will state I haven't used another for a while when in fact I used it the day before...!! Apart from that it's okay at keeping on top of what your phone is doing..!!

Does help to clean space on my phone, however, it is necessary to set it up according to ones preferences as company setting is for cleaning multiple times a day which can be intruding. When set up it works great. 😉

Would have been five stars except for being so chock-full of ads that purchase was necessary to remove them. Suggestions: automatic privacy options (such as not harvesting data & sharing with 3rd parties, auto-rotate enable PLEASE. Otherwise, a fantastic product. Thank you.

Very efficient and lite on the ads. Found multiple areas of my phone and cleaned out lots of clutter. The tools to see what programs are using the most battery, storage and memory are powerful and useful.

I find this very useful for keeping my middle of the road Xperia working as fast as it can. Its not lightning quick at the best of times, so this daily reminder to clear all the junk and close down unused apps is very handy.

Think it's a great app. Already have their security software installed . Lets you know when background apps are slowing down your phone and presents a list for you to which one's you like to close . Which is great . I use it on my tablet as well so .i cant recommend it enough .

Won't clear deep cache unless you $$ for it.

So far so good, there are adds but well, this is what yoh get for free... I like the the picture optimisation option - since many of us keep the photos to use on social media, we don't need the quality of 8 MB. This app lets you optimize the size, so you can keep all your images and free a lot of space.
