Supreme Protection. Excellent. No worries, no gimmicks app. I use the Pro version. It's worth every penny and. In my opinion it is low cost & only once a year payment. Very easy. I believe anyone with a problem, is because they are too cheap to buy real Protection. You can't expect PRO Features in a basic app. I have been using this app for years and never, ever had a problem with it. DEVELOPERS: AWESOME WORK!!!
A lot to learn and understand, but!, having a secure phone and laptop gives me a cautious piece of mind, against an unpredictable cast of not so nice players, which makes it worth the time to learn its functions., Knowing is also Peace of mind.
Great VPN but I wish it had a button that would allow me to choose when to bypass the Internet Kill Switch, because I hate having to go through the settings and then turn it off. I want to be able to quickly press a button, that then bypasses the Kill Switch.
Overall it's a very good app. However, going from internet to cellular to internet, and the VPN will be connected then paused then theoretically reconnect, it doesn't always. Recently in fact the VPN will not reconnect and recommend that it gets reconnected. But when you attempt to turn it back on the app is frozen, required a restart for the phone. Again, overall I am very satisfied with the product.
I am giving this app a two because every time I check on the VPN status. I have to turn it on. It should be on all the time. Now the app is doing much better. I found using my setting. Their is an Auto Connect. I have turned that on. The VPN is working all the time. Their is a larger drain on the battery but, it is well worth as far as protection. My cell phone well pefor the VPN did need a new battery.
App works so well that I can't connect to anything regarding money. No banking, no credit card apps, even in some games. I want a refund because I have to turn it off all the time.
Someone hacked my phone and turned this off locking it down that way too somehow. We scanned for errors with the troubleshooter and sent the error report in with what we found, one error somewhere. But before the support help even responded I was able to get it up and running again. Even better than before, I was able to get the 4 additional functions working where they have the lockout function shown. I am grateful for this app.
App works ok till I leave home then disconnect till I connect manually. Now disconnecting at home won't be renewing. As there's nowhere on the app to cancel , I don't wont to renew I have already sent a email and kept a copy, it's very disappointing that there's nowhere to cancel and your subscription is automatically renewed. Again I have screen shot this to prove my cancellation.
NORD VPN KILL SWITCH DOES NOT WORK WITH ALL ANDROID SYSTEMS!!!!Thats why I pay, use, and LIKE: AVG VPN!!! I have contacted AVG support with screenshots and commentary. I've Uninstaller and reinstalled the app. The"kill switch" feature is gone. The app is no longer what I purchased it for.
I have downgraded my rating from 5 to 4 because your VPN really slows down my downloads. For example images and files take forever to download on email and the same happens 4 downloads on social media pages like Twitter. Please fix that and I will put the review back to 5 stars. Otherwise all else works fine.
As far as interface goes the app Is great very user friendly, but the main problem is functionality. The very first server I tried to connect to didn't work, I've tried several times and yet no connection was made to that server. Instead of mexican servers I was send to Seattle. I suggest fixing your servers because right now I'm paying for something completely different than what I assumed I was
I love this app! I've been using them for yrs for free.. no problems but one, my VPN connection would just stop. I'll try the pay for a while, and let you know if that keeps it on . No need to have it if it stops all the time...right? Other than that, I'm totally loving the job they're doing for me, free or not. Hey, even if you pay it's ONLY $17 + Tax a year!
Your app keeps disabling itself. I have to constantly restart the app. I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for that. Fix this problem immediately!
The app is ok just find on my computer and cell phone app the price is very costly. If you can lower prices for these deals people will want to purchase with a good deal 1 charge for full year, like instead of me paying 23.99 tax full year turn it into 11.00 full year for customers that pay their bills off all the time etc. Thanks for your time and service and take care .
Not very good honestly... I've been with AVG for years but this VPN is about the most god awful thing I've ever used. Half of the time I can't get anything to work and the times that things do work my speeds are slowed to a crawl. My 50-60 Mb/s speeds are reduced to 15Mb if I'm lucky. Web pages feel like I'm running at dial up speeds. I spend more time with the VPN shut off just so I can load a page than not. Highly suggest finding a better VPN than this as you'll only be wasting money here.
BUYER BEWARE! AVG disappoints! It turns out to be the single most user unfriendly App I have ever encountered. They structure it such that one needs advanced pragramming skills to contact support. Money was taken out of my account followed with a total denial by AVG that I have purchased any subscriptions. They have failed to provide what was paid for and made support so labor intensive that it is functionally simply obstructive. I cannot in good faith recommend this product to anyone I know.
From the moment I paid my connection speed slowed to a crawl. Slow enough to first show the "Internet unavailable" page before actually opening the website. Avg is such a well known brand that I paid for the yearly subscription not thinking this might happen, let alone keep happening. I let this go for 3 months before I uninstalled the app and used Samsung internet. Web pages load in 1 second. Now I have to get my money back.
The best VPN. I run a business and I have kids and it's PERFECT. I'm really picky too, so that says a lot. AVG is the only one that protects my device and actually does what it says it's going to do.
I was referred to this after looking for "free unlimited secure VPN". It is not free. You have to pay, even in cash as an option, before anything works. Who pays first for a "free trial"? If you can't trust their ad on Google Play, don't trust them to connector have access to your phone.
Less than desired.I often need to switch servers to connect to websites that I had no problem with the day before. I am looking at other apps.
Feeling insecurity i lost my phone data for at least a month because my phone had been accidentally factory restored and was not offered a free month service until my phone was restarted with all my data which i think is totally greed and have the same VPN on my laptop so unhappy and thought there was no help so money grabbing comes to mind thanks for your help AVG

Acronym for AVG should be "Angels Vigilantly Guard" (feel VERY secure). ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS running on Galaxy A125, android 11. Better then I thought for free. wanting the pay version now! Yeah, it's that good.. A+
I am technologically challenged/deficient. I don,'t know what the heck I,'m doing half the time. But, this app is so easy to use! 5/29/22 YES! I would like to edit my review! This app is cool. I don't have to do a thing after initial (and insanely easy) setup. Since I set mine up, I forgot I was even using it. It's so easy. I feel safe and anonymous. I can search and browse the web with no fear of being traced or followed. I don't think it can be done! Great app devs!
