I pay for avg ultimate for 2 years on my androids. avg gives me avg free for androids and demands $40 per android per year more on top of the cost of the charge for avg ultimate which is claimed to download for all my pc's, laptops, android tablets and android cell phones. LIARS, CHEATS, FRAUDSTERS.
I tried this too many times and it's not delivering on promise. After downloading on other devise there is NOTHING ON THE LEFT to allow you to enter the code!!!!!!
Avg has helped me to keep all devices safe under one account. I love that i can check my security for all devices from my phone.
sort of easy to use. a little edgy on the flow of menus but usable.

Trust it and Love it
It used to work but now it doesn't and Support can offer no other solution than uninstall/reinstall endlessly. The Computer dash board and Zen on the devices all appear but say that the other devices do not have AVG internet Security installed which they obviously have. So they are recognising each other but not syncing. The Android devices have data sync disabled and cannot be enabled so something is wrong. I will not be renewing contract..
Been using AVG for years with no issues. There is something wrong with the current version. Paid for update in the same way a last year on Google Play, AVG did not update on any of my devices but constantly requests me to update. Not able to see my licence in my account or resolve any issues so far. I see a number of others have the same problem. Will have to install free or something else.
Used avg on my computer since 6.5 was out bought the ultimate edition as I have more than one device thought it was a bargain at £12.69 a year through my phone apposed to £60 through the website used it on my grandads Mac my dad's laptop and my phone, computer and laptop can't ask for more apart from not been able to scan nas drives with it
Great app. Got all my family's phones on my network. Edit 24/08/2017 This app is no longer supported by AVG and is to be discontinued with no replacement. This is a big disappointment as my daughter appreciates my being able to locate her with Zen on my phone and that I know if her phone is being tampered with. I am aware I can do this with AVG antivirus but the convenience of a dedicated app was what I valued. This is why I have changed my review to 1 star.
Will rate once licencing issues sorted. I purchased the in app Ultimate Upgrade and nothing has upgraded and no instructions for Windows computers. Worse, I am getting full screen ads pop up as a result of the install - a step back from not having it at all.
After purchasing AVG Ultimate on Google Play and spending 6 days on the phone to at least 7 people, in chat and on support forums - hours- and getting the total run around, the license does not appear in my AVG account, and does not activate on my phone. Constant barrage of pop ups to "upgrade now." Total scam.
Bought the ultimate subscription and Zen to manage it in 2015. Program itself was alright, nothing stellar but not bad. Accidentally let my Zen subscription persist and was renewed, but lost all the other pro features on the product because Zen by itself doesn't appear to cover that (seems you need the product subscription and then a separate Zen subscription to manage it across devices). The worst is that AVG turns into spamware as soon as the pro subscription lapses. My computer immediately had 3 different pop-ups from the tune-up utility, and is constantly reminding me I'm on pro version. Going to uninstall this product and probably move on to something like Kaspersky. The funny thing is I probably would have renewed the subscription for AV for the year if it didn't become so incredibly aggressive the second it the subscription went to the free service, and now I'm stuck with a $20 useless Zen subscription for the year.

Upgraded to Ultimate Version but when renewal time came around and despite taking my money all the Pro features stopped working and the developer has ignored my contact attempts. I subscribed for my android cellphone but It didn't sync to my other CP, so I subscribe again for other my CP. It's says in my email from avg Zen to add my laptop but when I did download the apps to my laptop it appears trial for 13days only and now expired and asking me to buy. It doesn't work to my CP and laptop. U have to buy for all each CP and laptop. Maybe u have to correct this. I did follow the instructions but failed.
I paid for the upgrade to ultimate and can't upgrade to it, despite them having my money for nearly 2 months! Have contacted customer service and all I get is a standard Indian call centre reply saying thanks for your understanding, it will be fixed with an update. But, despite repeatedly asking, they won't give me a timeframe of when. Shocking customer service from a once trusted company.
Seemingly great product and I've installed it on a few devices. Update: handled the subscription renewal VERY poorly. I had to re-install on all my machines again manually. The actual Windows app went into some weird upgrade-reboot-upgrade loop
I paid for 2 years of ultimate for protection across multiple devices but every AVG app on android wants upgrades or has adds. Names for services on both ends, computer or otherwise, vary greatly only adding more confusion. Gotta streamline your services and platforms. Makes me feel like I should refund my subscription same day seeing as none of your platforms recognize just what subscription I bought... and now, neither do I for that matter...
Easy to keep tab on all your devices as long as you have a version of some AVG tune up/maintenance app installed on them through your invitation sent to that devices email account and it's been installed using the links in the email. Can't say for sure how effective the remote maintenance actually is but you do get a good idea of what percentage each is running at concerning maintenance and tune ups.
