Avid Prepaid

I hate 2 leave a negative review. But I just received my Avid card in the mail today. It took a long time 2 arrive. The main problem I have with Avid, is that they charge .75 2 a $1 for every transaction. That's not going 2 work out 4 me. Cuz if I use my card 2 make a purchase, my card is gonna decline cuz of the purchase fees. I can't even select other plan options. At least NetSpend, I can select a monthly plan. With Avid, I can't. I'm not gonna activate this card. I'm gonna get rid of it.

Great app! Getting my husband enrolled today cause I registered myself 2 days ago. I was informed this morning that I will get my disability payments now on the 1st of the month instead of on the 3rd!!

Can't do virtual card without a card... been a month and card was sent to sons wasn't notified... then no one at first all day couldn't answer questions give me an account number routing numbers no one knew where my money was had to reapply for another account to even get to someone who actually knew what they was doing... the online app don't even work without the card and one hand don't know what the other is doing... it socks for real... now wait until Tues for overnighter card and it's fri.

This card charges $1 for every transaction made and $.75 for any transaction that doesnt go through. This card is horrible and if you dont want to give your money away dont get it.

Ugh! It's won't allow me to set up my finger print or allow alerts to let me know when I have my money

Sure they lure you in with the early payday but that's it t and it's not worth it they charge you for everything ATM fees there are no free ones so if you pull money not only do you pay the owner of ATM but avid gets there 3 buks a pop not to mention 75 cents for every declined action not over draft declined if your short 2 cents on something run your card bam 75 and there will be alot of them I was getting 3 a day not even using my card I've already switch my direct back to chime atleast you ca

Well I am satisfied and I love the way avid alerts every time I use it. And let's me see my balance. The only thing I don't like about this bank is that it charges a fee for every transaction that I make paying my bills by phone they don't help me save money. So I will just need to be careful about using my card.

I also love the fact that they contact and work with social security for me on setting up my direct deposit for me so i dont have to and the features are awesome its by far the best account ive seen or had in a while and i havent even used it yet and i was just exploring the features and i really love the debit card to debit card and bank account to debit card transfers features

Not right. There's any consistency between your apps and I would like for you guys to contact me through email so that we can fix this because there's just something not right with this partnership or the use of this card and deductions are being taken they should not be made they're not adding up and there's no way that I can see the paper trail.

The app is better than the card and the Avid Bank business itself. discard is the worst bank card I've ever known. This card does not have your best interest in mind. Even the automated services is crappy! Forget that "UP TO SIX DAYS IN ADVANCE". You pay for that- $3 + $2.50 for each and every withdrawal whether the teller is free or not. But if you just insist on using the card withdraw all your funds at once. use PNC. You can withdraw up to $600.00 at a time.

So far, hands down a 1000 times better than Direct Express...you must compare the two....it's like Apples and Oranges ..Avid dose sooooo much...flexible, add money, on and on better ..

Impossible to open an account. Apps asking for a reference number that I've never been given. Then it calls customer service where I can't get threw because i don't have a card number. Duh, that's what I'm trying to get

This card is really stupid it does charge for everything and on the web site it says it wont charge any fees if you get direct deposit with goverment payments which is a lie i really think they should get sued for false advertisement Exspecially in California. I called them and yelled at them for thier misleading the public and i am going to start a class action suit against them

I can never access the app,and its been on my phones a few years ,never accessed ,couldnt get the help from AVID,i finally gave up,the fees are way to costly,$20 and sometimes more every payday

it's really good for getting your social security check early but they charge a dollar every time you use your card so get all your money at once if you can

Was going to get this card, even signed up but after reading just a few reviews...FORGET IT!!

It sucks they charge you for using it at an ATM. They have the nerve to charge you for depositing your check. so unless you want all your funds use a Bank

I will be disconnecting this app and card. This card charges too much for all and any transactions. Too greedy for my taste.

Runnn!!! Lol It's a light weight participent when compared to a more fair and more dependable pre- paid debit card. But if the cardholder doesn't stay on top of his finances..and know how to communicate with a customer service department that doesn't entirely speak an English where you don't spend your time guessing at what you are being told. (Question) Why aren't men and women of whom speak fluent English alone offered a translator when dealing with individuals of a different language. 🤔🤷‍♀️

I got my card/account because I was told I would get my government issued check sooner than my other card well I will let you know how it goes. This month the month of October I would get it on the 30 it would normally be ready for me to pick up some cash ill update this if I get it sooner.

This card is stupid it charges fees for every little thing. It charges fees for using to card, adding money to the card, taking money off the card, getting declined, putting the wrong pin number, putting the right pin number, omg what does this card not charging people fees for. The only good thing about this card is you get your money 4 day early. Im changing my card back to my old card. This card is useless!!!

This app helps out lot I can check my funds pay bills and etc love it.

Stupid bull&$it. Sends me a code to my number, which I do know obviously, to only have it say cannot verify code. Ridiculous waste of time. Dog turd app. Don't waste your time. I'll stick with my credit union. 🤟

The app works just fine, it's just that I don't have my new bank card and I can't pay my phone bill today and I'm going to lose my service because of my bank

Can't login for my avid Prepaid Card. Keeps saying my information doesn't match.
