ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY I paid one month plan , after 4 days of usage its stuck and not connecting to any server available , it shows connected by wont open anything youtube or Whatsapp or even messenger calls , tried reinstall but cant restore my purchase.
This program is easy to use and I've never had a problem with it. I use the paid version so the VPN is unlimited, which is great for me because I use it all the time. I appriciate the way the VPN is bundled with the other programs, because I'm able to afford the security I need on all my devices. I've been a long-time Avira customer and in my experience, they're only getting better. Highly recommend the suite of Avira products.
Even after I disabled Auto Start and cleared all data, it started itself up. Instant uninstall after that. Very suspicious behavior... Update: Not sure what else to tell you. It did it once so I cleared it's data. I then started the app and it showed it's initial unconfigured state so I figured it wouldn't do it again, closed it straight after that. Next time was when I opened the notifications pulldown and saw it there saying it was running. *I'd suggest if you're going to ask for more details like this, don't contact using a 'noreply' email, really poor form. ... and before you say you don't know that would happen, it's your job to know.
When signing in, I received the code but login message telling me an error ocurred, please try later. Ten's times
I took subscription from iPhone and It was automatically renewed for this month and i was charged but they disconnected me and I was not able to get the support as the support option is only for the active subscribers.!!!!! I found it horrible SUPPORT team who usually delayed a lot to give feedback when I contacted before for other issues. However, it can be leveled as a good vpn service in terms of pricing. Finally, I am seeking someone who worked here to solve my issue.
The app does not work. It keeps asking me to sign up for a free trial, when my credit card is being charged every month. I have gone to the avira site to try and contact someone and the only thing listed there is a mailing address in Santa Clara. I even tried to cancel through my credit card and was denied. The credit card company told me that I had to contact Google. Good luck with that! I would love to get what I am paying for. So far all I am getting is a bill with no service.
Ever since the update the app does not work as intended. Now the latest update gives an error when I have to manually initiate the app. I wish I could upload the screenshot I took. The app used to turn on automatically when I would turn on my WIFI. Now, it does not. Please fix.
It doesn't connect through my mobile network. On wifi there are no notifications when the VPN connection drops. It doesn't auto-connect when connection to the VPN is lost. I can't use any VoIP apps ("no network" error) even when the VPN is turned off (it works fine if I uninstall Phantom VPN). Support was quick to get back.
Best VPN so far . Pay for it but stays on till you turn it off. Good VPN. Best I've used so far. You get what you pay for at the end of the day . Works out a pound a week and they only charge you monthly. Unless you have an alternate subscription. Good stuff .
Speed seems to be good wo far. Using it for last 15 mins. It would have been awesome if this could filter ads from loading for all apps and browsers. Like some other VPN based ad blockers do. Also, showing upload/download speed could be an advantage. Removing 2 stars for not finding above 2 features.
when I first purchased the service on my iPhone it was a very good app. I had unlimited access but when I bought my Android phone I tried on several occasions to transfer the service to said Android to no avail. It will let me log in but now all I get is 500 mb per month and am still being charged for the unlimited. I can't find a place to even unsubscribe. When I try to transfer the license it tells me that I haven't bought the license and that I have no account to transfer. Very disappointed.
I love this app but currently will not work. I have the premium and pay a monthly.fee however it tells me.to login then actsnasnif I need to order it. Will change this once the issue is resolved. Update: looks like there was some kind of software change and update and just needed some time to catch up with itself. Working great again
Phantom is fast, but not smooth. There were glitches where I had to disconnect and reconnect in order to be able to use some apps that could not connect to Internet otherwise.
It seemed okay at first but the limit of 500 MB is a complete contradiction to "free safety". It's beguiling to state that your app provides the promise of "FREE safety" when you need to pay for unlimited usage. It's rated good on CNET but for people looking for basic protection while surfing the net, I think it's not worth it. Overall, display is clean and easy to use, but I just don't think we'd have to pay for protection on the internet.
I have been using the paid version for almost a year now. It's been 4, 5 months that it works very badly one day and doesn't work at all the rest of the week. Now it has been telling me for 15 days that there is no purchase to restore and I used my secured traffic (even if, I repeat, I'm paying for the app). It's just unbelievable.
I'm reviewing for my other phone. I have just recently paid for a 2nd year subscription and now I'm being forced to buy a brand new phone just to update this app, all because of the recent connectivity "bugs". Very disappointed by this extreme lack of competence. As usual, these tech people have no empathy nor compassion for the poor who can't even afford to keep buying the latest phones, all for the sake of keeping up with bad apps like this. It was great, but now it's the worst.
My biggest issue with this VPN is the companies lack of knowledge I asked them why I can't share a connection with a PC running this VPN they said it wasn't possible? Since I switched to Nord they gave me the answer quickly it's a matter of bridging the connection on the PC! It's to late now I paid Nord for 2 years! On the plus side this service doesn't get flagged by Google search live the other big VPNs requiring a Captcha. You get what you pay for. Also their refusal to provide config files.
Keeps on disconnecting and doesnt connect automatically unless i connect it to internet manually. I used other branded vpn as well and i felt disappointed using this. Its a waste of money i should say. It needs improvement. As in a lot of improvement.
11/10. Not gonna lie, this vpn is one of the best vpns like Nord and Express. The speed is freaking fast but there's one thing which is so disappointing. When I switch to WireGuard protocol, the servers stop working, and I can do absolute nothing. I think it happens because of the device which I'm currently using. I suggest the developer to improve WireGuard protocol. Please forgive me if you find something grammar mistakes in this review because my English is not that good. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Subscribed, had to click subscribe everytime I opened the app, then error, you've already subscribed, clicked ok and it connected. Had issues with google home. Canceled avira phantom VPN, resubsribed, app doesn't work at all! Big technical issues on my samsung A70. Very disappointed
Dreadful piece of software. The only thing that works is the subscription option, other than that it's server errors and no connection. Even the 'Restore purchase' button doesn't work. Cancelled subscription and uninstalled.
I cant turn on vpn, i subscribed for the 19.99 aed per month. It always show no network available even if i am connected to the internet. ####### I uninstalled and reinstalled it, rebooted my mobile but still the problem persist. Now I am charged for a pro version that I cant even turn it on. AVIRA I think you should try to look into this issue.
I'm using Phantom VPN Pro premium both on my Android and Windows 10 PC, so far it's an amazing VPN but my only problem is it keeps disconnecting automatically and it's kinda annoying. please fix then you get my five stars. NOTE: it's still an Amazing Application.
I subscribed last year MAY 2021 in google play, we were able to use it in our devices, and its a very helpful app. Now, MAY 2022 after paying (auto-renewal subscription), I cannot connect anymore in the app. I logged-in in my account and it says there that my SUBSCRIPTION STATUS IS INACTIVE and RENEWAL STATUS INACTIVE. I checked my payment history in google play, and its paid via auto renewal subscriptio, but in the account itself my payment is not showing. I hope developer can fix this issue.
