Misleading prices/Rip-off - I ordered groceries from a nearby store for $110, along with a promotional first-time discount of $10. Turns out, all prices are increased once the order is processed. Some prices more than doubled. With replacements, the final price was nearly $160. 45% ($50) increase in total amount is unacceptable and I raised a complaint. The prompt customer care asked for a list of items replaced for a proposed refund. Sadly, they refunded only 20%($20). Truly disappointed!

Below average app. Lot of prices are inconsistent. The app shows different price on list view and when you add in cart the price changes. Also majority of products prices are double in the app as compared to the actual store if you buy physically. Also the delivery fees is way too much. Not sure how the pricing is decided (whether its a store or its Avocado).

Pros: Delivers within a said timeframe (usually next day 5-9pm). Offers a better price compared to Amazon, whole foods Cons: 1. App allows adding more items after placing the order. But it never reflects in the actual order 2. App shows items which are not in stock (for more than a month according to store)

App does its job and was very helpful during shelter in place but way too many notifications (4+ each day) reminding you to order groceries. They also send text messages. Minor point: 'Track my grocery' feature always shows 'one stop away', even if the actual delivery happens hours later.

Unreliable. Looks like someone out out a beta app and does not even monitor if it works end to end. Very slow. Some stores don't work. Can't pick any delivery time. Not even sure if they are in business.

I have been using AVOCADO service for over 9 months. AVOCADO has helped me tremendously. I am a mom and have so many things to do. I used to spend at least 1 day of my weekend doing shopping. Now I shop for most of my needs at AVOCADO - ethnic grocery, gifts for any birthdays. It saves me a whole lot of time. The shoppers and drivers are very responsive. If I forget to order something, they even add products upon my request while shopping.

Poorest app I have ever seen. Why the hell did you guys launch the app in the first place. It's so basic, a 10 year old might have designed the app. The support team is so slow, it takes a whole day to respond to a simple question. Concept of the app is all good to deliver from local stores, but the app needs a lot to be done. I am sure I will get a copy paste response from the support team now to tell them what the problem is.

I had a horrible experience. Ordered dosa batter and vegetables on Nov 3. Batter was best by Nov 1, and mooli was bent and soft. Never going to use this app again. Unable to reach to an actual number to get my money back and they never responded for my low review on the order even though I complained there. Driver also refused to come up and deliver so I had to stand on the road and pick my order, hence no chance to verify stuff at time of pickup.

This app is a time saver! I love it because it gives me back some precious weekend time that I spent shopping which I now spend with family. I add items during the week and schedule a weekend delivery, all fresh groceries are picked at store prices and delivered in promised time for free! They also have a very customer friendly refund policy if you are not happy with the quality of some product. It definitely is a blessing when you live in neighborhood with no good Indian stores around.

This app is terrible. My order was supposed to be delivered on Friday but it did not get picked up until Monday of the following week, and it's being Tuesday today and I have no idea where my picked up groceries are. I understand that there's a national emergency, but should appreciate if you could tell me where the order stands, so that we can plan accordingly. My credit card has a pending charge too, but I don't know if my order is getting delivered or not.

this delivery service was helpful and easy to use. the delivery was on time and the driver took the time to make sure I got the right products. when there was a discrepancy in the order invoice, they quickly tried to remedy the problem and correct it. customer service staff was very helpful. Will definitely use avocado again.

Trying to place an order last one week and no slot is available at the promised slot open time. Also poorest UI design. Customer support is giving the same message Everytime we contact them. Overall useless. 04/20 - changed my review after two successful order.

Without delivering the order they mark it as delivered. On clicking help button on app it shows link not supported on device. What the hell is going on.

Have used it before COVID.Earlier there would be minimal delivery charges but now it has shot up.Atleast some slots are there. The problem is they jacked up prices by 100% and most of the good stores are not available.

They purchase item 2 -3 days ago and dont deliver at all. The app shows driver is reaching in 1 min and they keep showing this message for 2 days. Dont use this app.

I love the stores on the app and that the store shoppers pick my produce, they really do a great job and I am very happy with the quality.

Does this app even work anymore? It doesn't seem to and the company seems totally incommunicado. Why is still up on the play store?

While we appreciate the service in this situation, the app, shopping options, tracking needs serious revamp.

They recently dropped their "store price guarantee" and have steep markups. I discovered this on my recent store visit. In store bill $88, similar cart on avocado $125.

Worst app. The very first thing it ask for entering the zip code but when you enter it says zip code not found😏 seriously !!

in india i used to see mangoes everywhere in summer and will not miss it but here with all my hectic schedule i will miss it when mangoes become available :( i think the good about the this service is that they send me notification about the mangoes. Also sent me a box of mango free with code mango (don't know if it would work now but no harm trying)...... pretty cool i think :) service is also top notch since they do not charge delivery and prices are store prices.

installed the app, just remaines stuck on the inital loading spinner for more than 10 seconds, immediately uninstalled.

I didnt even checkout since the ui,search is bad.Fix ethnic names before launching an app.

Simply does not work. Why would they waste their time , energy & money to make such app that is such disaster.

I feel Avocado is my little assistant that takes work out of my busy schedule and does all my grocery shopping

Loved their service and the way they delivered from other city within a day.

Been browsing for delivery times since a month always says unavailable this is suppose to help us with shelter at home situation but it's not. I am looking to buy from Patel Brothers at El Camino real santa clara ca

I use Instacart. Why should I use Avocado? Give me one good reason
