AvPlan EFB

Nice to see an update, however, like the lite version, it really struggles to download NZ navdata. So I can't even get past the initial download screen to try out the new app. Will happily update the rating of this gets fixed. Update: Bevan is very responsive and helpful, and resolved the issue which was related to a variation with my device. Still rough around the edges, but a VERY welcome update to the old Lite version.

To the devs. First thanks for releasing the android version that actually performs much better than the previous 'lite' version which was just poor at all levels. The two star rating is because while the performance seems to have improved, the user experience is still sub par. Avplan is always my go to for planning but I just cannot use it in flight (yes even the ios version). Please take a leaf from the Garmin Pilot app.

Having been a long time user of the local competitor I recently switched to AvPlan for a flight across Australia. Had an old iPad 2 and was able to send my flight plans via on board wifi to a Dynon Skyview. Bloody ripper. Frankly the app performed flawlessly on iOS and true to the rumour preflight planning was a breeze. Installed the Android version and have a few bugs to iron out but let's get real, the customer service is outstanding when they're responding from home at 9pm. Great stuff!

Hey guys, I trialled the lite version. Would love to have a look at the full Android version as I am an avid android user and been waiting for this happen. But it keep saying subscription expired and can't log in at all. Tried with different emails. No luck. Please help.

It's okay for an early Android version but needs work. It offers to open every type of file on your phone and constantly annoys you about not updating winds even when the app is closed.

AVPLAN have been promising a decent flight planner for Android for many years. The promised upgrades never appear. Customer service is terrible. They take up to a week to reply and never address the problems. The Android version on the latest high performance tablet, freezes, crashes, fails and needs to be restarted in flight all the time. Unreliable and unsafe. Do not rely on this EFB in flight. According to Avpan, Android users are only 10% of their income and do not deserve the same service as IOS users. Check out Garmin Pilot for Android, its years ahead of the competition when it comes to Android flight planners with OZ based telephone support and a better price.

Bevan..I can not open the app? Hence the reason to use this platform to fix this latest issue, frustrating as I need to use today but just comes up with data corruption messages and the app will not open? Please help me fix issue. Seems just one issue ofter another.. Thanks.

Trying to login/create account to trial the app, but it proceeds to log in and then say "subscription expired". Not great, considering I've waited so long for this android release.

It doesn't work. I keep getting notifications every 5 seconds which prevents me from doing anything. I got the app again and now i can't even login as navdata won't download

The app is stuck at the region selection... you can select a region but there is no OK button and. you can't continue, basically the app is useless...

More approachable and friendly support staff than well-known competitors. Great app for any aviator.

This new app is awesome far better than avplan lite just need to get the ADS-B sorted out and I would look no further
