AVR Remote for Harman Kardon
This app includes the ability to rename, remote and reorder inputs and a DLNA browser and a portrait mode.Unfortunately the Harman range of receiver’s provide no feedback (eg volume Level, input, mode etc), so communication is one way. Should Harman update this via a firmware update and provide the information on the protocol, then we can easily support this in MyAV.There’s also no way of turning on the receiver when it is in a cold power off state (this happens after an hour or so or after a power cut).
Because of this MyAV can use IR blaster on certain Samsung & HTC Android devices to turn on the Harman AVR using the “All Power On” button in MyAV. If an IR blaster is present then the sound mode can also be changed (This isn’t possible on the official Harman app).If there is a sufficient demand for this app then we will add extra “missing” functions that are currently only available using IR. Please note that we have been unable to find anyway to switch to the “Bluetooth” input via IR or IP.This app can be viewed portrait or landscape (default) and is designed with high res graphics for tablets.Not only this but MyAV can also control a range of other products (whilst still controlling the volume of your Harman Kardon). Other devices include Blu-ray players (No Harman Kardon Blu-Ray players yet, but we will add them if people request it), TV's, set-top boxes, cable & sat.A full compatibility list can be found on our site:http://myav.co.uk/compatiblity.htm

Work on my s8+ with hk 151s
I needed an app for my Harmon Kardon AVR 136, but this had only one model, the 150. No, it didn't work properly. Yes my phone has IR (Galaxy Note 4). All that worked was power.
Pls add in the title is a trial , it's misrepresentation of your apps forgetting this mention
Was struggling after losing my remote.. Bought a new phone and downloaded this app and better than HK remote app
For IR works better than HK's app. Gotta older unit, AVR 247 and it worked first time.

Looking for another app.
Doesn't scale properly to screen size making it fiddly to use. Also no Bluetooth source for the AVR which is the main reason I wanted it.
Would be excellent if it supported Android Wear so I could have at least volume controls on my watch. ;)
7 day trial. Not the HK AVR remote app I'm going use. Uninstalled and using free HK AVR remote with great success.
When started it searched for network, no network devices in my house, so it gave me a bog standard control panel that didn't have anything to do with anything in my house? No manual selection

just installed it and right away it says that my 7 day free trial expired, and that if I need the app again I have to pay $11 ish so Nope I won't recomend this at all👎👎👎
