Awakenings with Iyanla Vanzant - Daily Coaching

Iyanla often says things that shift my perspective. Now, I am able to think on her words daily and change the way I look at things. The app is well thought out and easy to use. I unfortunately dropped it from 5 to 3 stars because I do feel like when I am paying for premium content, I should not have pop up ads when I open the app. I dont mind having a separate screen where I have the OPTION to check out other apps, but I just paid 29.99 for the yearly subscription

I absolutely love this app! The music is beautiful. I love that you can control the volume. It would be perfect if we could choose the music. I am an upbeat morning person! I noticed that when the music is upbeat, after my 3 principles, I feel more energetic and motivated to change and improve ME! Music is a huge deal to me when it comes to mood and learning. Even if the upbeat music was played in the day and the low tempo was played at night, it could influence different people effectively.

I really like the daily reminders and messages that this app offers. However, for the price of the subscription, I'm not finding that all of the functions operate well. The alarm option and the pause between readings is not working. So, the only thing you're paying for is getting daily messages instead of weekly messages. I cancelled my subscription and will read her books instead.

My experience was initially quite rewarding with daily awakenings with my yearly subscription. But once I renewed for another year I was stuck in the abyss of 3 principles weekly. I never received any support from the publisher (no app fix, no refund) Basically I feel ripped- off the second-go round due to non-existent communication with a customer support team. I will cancel my automatic renewal.

I'm lowering my rating of this app because it's a hot mess!!!!!!!!!!!!! I continue to install and uninstall, I have ACCIDENTALLY purchased 2 yearly subscriptions because I thought maybe it hadn't taken the money out of my account! You all took it TWICE and STILL HAVE NOT fixed these RIDICULOUS technical problems.....and even though I didn't like it, I checked the ALLOW button to my files when it asked for permission..which is RIDICULOUS for a dang app! If I could get ALL my money back, I would!

I absolutely LOVE this App. For some time now, I have struggled with being STILL. The music lured me in. I stayed because the messages are so direct, with just the right dosages of wisdom that wherever I am becomes my safe space to breath and rejuvenate. It's like a jump start for your soul. Recently, I played it while visiting my Mother in the Nursing Home. She enjoyed it so much I had to add the App to her phone--- and place it on her front screen. Thank you so much!

it pushes a daily reminder even if I've listened the weekly teachings. can be annoying. other than that, ❤❤❤ thank you for the quick answer. in order to set up notifications one must subscribe. the pushing is done in my case without subscription. a glitch, maybe?

I love the messages but the reminder doesn't show up when it's set to. It has also crashed a few times in the 2 days. I would like to be able to save the message or replay previous days. If that's an option, I haven't found it. The app needs work.

Great messages, does not play at scheduled time but reminder works. Wish there was closed captioning so I could read along for better active listening....then wouldn't have to rewind so many times to hear the full thing. All in all great app but can use these tweaks.

The advice is great (5 stars) but it seems that the app sequencing of the principles is off. I feel like I'm getting the same principles over and over. I understand there will be repeats at some point, but it seems to happen quite a lot, especially right after I renewed my subscription.

I think it is a little roo pricey. I also think they should add a one time purchase deal. They could add it for like 10 or 15 dollars more then the 30 dollar yearly for a one time purchase. For 40 or 45 dollars you are often the app and free of restrictions

I love spending my early mornings with my personal life coach, Iyanla. Her nuggets of wisdom are always right on time; just when I need to hear, digest, and apply them. Her voice is soothing to my ears and my spirit. The only improvement I would love to see is the ability to play back a daily sesson/lesson. But I guess, as in life, there are no do-overs.

I loved it until now all the sudden it just stopped working saying I failed to purchase the app even though the app is free. The other problem is I set the timer for the app to come on but it just comes on at random times. Guess I have to uninstall.

I want to like this app I seriously do. Reading description is says that the app is completely free however, once I get my principles for the day or if I log out whenever I try to log back in it says download failed because you did not pay for the app. So I'm confused. Is the app free or not? And what exactly are we getting with the free version vs. the paid version? The app itself is great and I would have given more stars but I deducted some because of the issues with its functionality

Great concept...but doesn't deliver. Revised 12/20/19: I can not, in good conscious, recommend this app. About every other day I am forced to delete and reinstall this app. I get a warming "download failed b/c you may not have purchased this app". Who has time for this?!?! Considering how much this app costs, there should not be these issues.

Simple yet profound. Easy to use. Beautiful graphics. I like the reminder feature. I love the pause and play feature. Nice background music.

for the most part nice app but the words are repeated a lot in a short time i just heard choice and discernment twice in a week. Update: its 12/6/19 after i uninstalled back in july i seen on ig the app has been updated i will give it another try.

Wow lot of bad rip off reviews... I downloaded the app, and got stuck at "need permission to access media and photos" so I came here to see why before I clicked that button. Instead I find a lot of financially upset customers who got ripped off? Anyho... why do you need access to my files? She's giving advice, what does that have to do with my personal photos? Please explain.

Opened e-mail from Wednesday stating the app was available. I downloaded it immediately. I was not shocked that it stirred my soul upon the first use, so I signed up for yearly subscription. I look forward to daily meditations and wisdoms that I will gain.!!! Excited for change from within!!!

This app has been a help in a change in my vision. It has helped me stay focused and in self love. I was not sure if I wanted to spend five dollars a month but when it did not renew and I got simply a word for the week I realized that where I am in my life that five dollars is like a GPS and I am wandering through unknown territory.

I love this app I've been using it since 2019 and it's been great I'm glad that they finally got a yearly subscription because I used to pay monthly. She is very encouraging and she always knows what to say she resonates with me absolutely. I consider her my mentor I am now currently a life coach practitioner hopefully I can get to the level that she is. Thank you so much for this app it has truly been a blessing for me and others! Great app. A bit buggy at times, closes randomly and the speaking goes at triple speed sometimes. But otherwise a great idea, well executed.

ABSOLUTELY DIVINE! I must admit that at first, I literally gave this app three stars because I didn't understand HOW it worked. Once I received the feedback from the administrators explaining that no purchase was necessary and I familiarized myself with the app, I FELL IN LOVE. I deleted my old review and HAD to come back and rewrite THIS review because THIS APP RIGHT HERE HAS CHANGED MY LIFE, MY BUSINESS AND MY OVERALL OUTLOOK relating overall. I really am VERY GRATEFUL AND APPRECIATIVE!
