aweMech for MechWarrior Online

aweMech is a Mechlab for Android that offers full loadout customization and basic loadout statistics. Loadouts can be saved to your device and shared via http://mwo.smurfy-net.de. Further integration with smurfy-net includes opening URLs and loading your personal Mechbay in aweMech! There are a lot of features planned and you can be a part of that process at https://awefalafelapps.uservoice.com
At this time, use of this tool assumes you have prior knowledge of the 'Mech customization process. I hope to have a tutorial available in the future.

An In-App Purchase is now available to help support this project and remove advertisements. Donate whatever you feel is appropriate. Regardless of how much is donated, the result will be the same: advertisements will be removed from aweMech.

Though aweMech should run fine on tablets, the UI is not optimized for these devices. UI improvements, including better tablet support, are certainly possible in the future. Also, due to the amount of data required to be displayed, the UI may not function or look as intended on especially small phones.

So, what's next for aweMech? I'd really like the MWO community to decide what's most important to them, so please visit https://awefalafelapps.uservoice.com and vote on features or suggest one of your own!

Does exactly what is advertised and well. Only problem is that sometimes the last half-ton of your mech doesn't calculate correctly and so you can't add anything for the last half-ton, but having used it quite a bit today that's all I've found. Great work!

This is a near-perfect rendition of MechWarrior Online's mechlab. It's frequently updated with the newest 'Mechs and has a simple and easy-to-understand layout. You can save your own loadouts, share them, or even get a link to Smurfy to edit them on a computer! A solid app, definitely worth using when away from the 'Mechlab.

Absolutely needed this app since I'm playing the XB1 version. And I didn't feel like making a spreadsheet or program for this. Buying parts and ammo is expensive and confusing but this'll help.

Excellent, simple. Would recommend any time. But rarely updated and some mechs end up with minus slots/tonnage when loading loadout on few mechs before manually correcting it.

fantastic. easy to use and shows all the info you'll ever need to design the perfect loadout to suit your play style.

great free app for MWO. while not 100% perfect, it is invaluable tool to be able to play around with builds when i cannot get on MWO (which is quite often)

I really love this app; my only criticism is the omni-pod interface and that it isn't being updated anymore.

I enjoy making random builds while I am away from my computer. Though can you update it for the 2021 stuff?

No longer updated. Can't replace components. Useless. Why is this still in the app store?

You're probably already aware, but RAC heat calculation seems a bit glitchy

perfect for its purpose

Awesome app for MO... 😍

Well done app, but the rac2 have a bug and makes asymtopic heat values. This has resulted in me fielding many rac2s on my mechs. Many red team mechs have been severely inconvenienced by this.

If I could rate 1,000,000 stars I would. This theorycrafter app is the definition of amazing as the delay between PGI adding a new Mech and aweMech adding it is around 1 day, perfect for anyone who wants to make a theoretical Mexh build before buying it IG. In short, amazing app, would download again.

Update speed improved and a number of crashes fixed recently. KTO-20 loadout still a problem though. Keep up the good work!

Great app. Very useful for theorycrafting. I love planning 'mechs nearly as much as shooting them, so this is perfect. It occasionally falls behind as new 'mechs are introduced, but I can't really expect too much. Worth donating to for the obvious effort that went into it.

I wish it had drop deck calc

I love this app and would give it five stars, but it does have some issues. It does occasionally lock up or shut down. On the positive side, it is easier to use then the in game mech lab and is great for tinkering with builds before you play. I just hope it is still being supported, as it is almost March 2018 and we have not had an update since November 2017.
