This is very helpful to watch over your entire aws cloud setup from just a single app anytime anywhere. This is very lightweight app. Loving it. There are few limitations also like cannot delete the IAM profile etc.. Anyways this app is very useful for an aws admin while he is on leave and watching his setup.🙂🙂🙂🙂
Quite handy app to access and control AWS services, would had been better if more access like instance creation, SSH access given like we do with browser. Overall happy to use AWS services.
Nice for quickly checking basic stuff. No complaints so far. Haven't needed to do anything complicated, so cannot comment on any advanced use.
Having to sign in all the time and struggle with the capcha all the time on Android is terribly painful. Seriously, which other android app does this? Imagine having to do capcha to unlock your phone. Geeez! Enable fingerprint login and done. Who is the app dev architect for android at aws??? Poor job done bruh.
My organization has switched to sso, and that keeps me totally out of this app since there's no support for that yet.
Good for analysing alerts easily but add more features to AWS Console that better for use. Its easy to use and store your credentials so do not login again and again.its amazing and reduce human efforts.thanking you Amazon Web Services to identify need of human and work on that also thankful to Jeff Bezos to give technology to human touch and provide good platform for learn and apply technology for reducing efforts, money and waste of time in own manage servers and own datacenters. Sincerely..
Very good app for costing oversight. Five stars if all service offerings could be explored.
Works well for all other region but for Mumbai region, always show something went wrong Error please try again later. No matter how many times I refresh it but still same issue. Can't even open dashboard, for other regions it works well
The app asks for login every single time, if that could be made easier it would be great
This app would be more useful if the entire billing module is shown with all features. Like i couldn't view my last month billing. Basic features of managing the machines is fine but this app seriously lacks the billing feature. That's the first i would want to do in a mobile app - keep a check at my costs at my finger tips. Also this app doesn't remember credentials. I have to login each time. Check out google cloud console app. Also Biometrics doesn't work.
good for basic operations. well done and better experience than web version.
The application is awesome. I wish it allowed me to upload files to a S3 bucket.
The app can be improved a lot. I can't believe AWS didn't invest more. Like put the cool icons with their colors for each service, so users could find them more easily. Add more services. The fact that I have to type in my email and password every time I log in, almost made me uninstall it, but I like AWS. Cheers!
I have no idea why or how this app has 4 stars. It looks like it was made in 2009 and hasn't been touched since. I know amazon views design like a child views veggies but this is ridiculous. Missing huge features making it almost unusable for anything more complicated then finding an IP address for an EC2 box. Come on Amazon! WORLD LEADER IN CLOUD SERVICES and this is your best foot forward? Disappointed.
Check out authentication in gcp's console app authentication. Integration with fingerprint reader helps. Too few services and too few options within each service. For basic preview of what's going on with a select services it's ok. I'm missing CloudFront as it is slow to deploy/delete and could do with preview of the progress.
If there is any feature implement to see for lightsail instances, then this app will be more useful.
The console does not really provide much functionality tbh. Just readings or info of pricing and other relevant stuff. I expected it to have some level of power to change the options on services or to do something else. Or it could be that the UI experience was just terrible.
would be great to have shortcuts or favourites.
it provides a useful interface for the services that it supports - mostly ec2 and rds etc. so more of the "old school" services. however, there is zero support for any modern architecture features that Aws have and are pushing so hard at the moment (lambda, containers, api gateway etc).
The app keeps crashing as soon as I press "Add an identity"
Need more realtime statistics and metrics
Although I have biometrics turned on I still have to re-enter my password and use other MFA's all the time rendering the app pretty much useless.
Terrible app. Incredibly limited functionality, basically only useful for starting and stopping existing instances which were set up manually (forget cloudformation). Really no point at all. Better to just bookmark the website and toss that on your home screen.
Quite a lot of features missing but hopefully even as a view mode, more features would be added. I would love to have the ability to at least check status of services / events / deployments and in some cases roll them back via mobile app.
All I want from this is access to all cloudwatch resources. Logs, perf metrics, response times of my lambdas, RDS response times. Just CW alarms isn't enough. Cloudformation status is a nice thing though but no lambda or rds service healths so not enough for me. Using web interface on mobile still. The app is crazy fast compared to web UI ao that's a nice thing too.
Why is Lambda service not supported on app? C'mon.. we want to see all our services. Also, after few days of using it, i find it nothing so special about this app here. UI do looks better compare to previous, but the UX fail. I was thinking how I'm suppose to navigate back to the list of services after tapping into one.
I'm coming from mostly using another cloud and to be honest, I've found this AWS' app to be way better that the other. The biggest difference is speed and ease of use. The other app took forever to load my services. Here it's a breeze. Great job guys. It doesn't show every service that you have on the web console but it cover the ones I use the most. And it's way more convenient to quickly start or stop services.
