AwSMS [BETA]

First off, the notification/heads up needs a drop shadow, otherwise it's just too flat and can blend into the app behind it very easily. Next, it needs an option to have the send button match the avatar colour/conversation colour to help blend in. Finally, the text input section needs an option for just a line instead of a shadow separating it between the conversation and itself. On top of that, sending multiple images over MMS doesn't work at all, and sending one after another doesn't work either.

The idea is awesome. An amazingly customizable SMS app with a really cool quick reply feature, however the transitions could be a little smoother and id like to see padding control for the quick reply. Also the heads up needs a shadow or else it can be difficult to see over your other apps. I'd also love some new bubble styles. Also please give the ability to make the notification a different color than the app theme.

I adore the customization features. Paying for premium is totally worth it, as there are TONS of things you can customize. My only complaint is that it still doesn't do that will with sending pictures or gifs. A lot of times people don't actually get them, or if I send gifs they won't be animated. It takes forever for the picture to compress, and I can't have text along with the picture or it will not send. That's the only reason it's not 5 star. But other than that this is the best messaging app ever.

This app is good but there are some issues plz fix it 1. when some messages are come together and quick,reply to anyone the app is unfortunately stopped 2.and some contact names who start with dots or symbols and select contact for message the app is unfortunately stopped 3. select contact for new msg it has been to confirming for select contact Thank You ☺

Found a bug, if you delete a conversation, but the people in that conversation still reply to it you don't get notified! For some reason I wanted to check something and went back to my stick messaging app I missed 2 text messages and 2 that had multiple recipients still in the conversation that had over 70 replies "/, don't know if anyone else noticed this. switching back to stock messaging app until I know it's fixed.

I couldn't help but to buy it. I have some suggestions though: fully customizable heads up, chat head option, fully customizable send button, ability to change color of font and dividers, send and receive sound like iPhone messages, notification reminder options, and option to have notification sound play while on call.

It would b the mest messaging app ever if you fix the following things. 1: No default sms app setting availabe. 2: No 2 sim supportive. 3: Operator messages does not show their name (only shows "#" in avatar). P.S testing in progress.

I really like this app, but I'm concerned that the last update was in June, as there are some bugs, nothing critical but annoying all the same. The interface is clean, the customization menus are pretty simple and overall, its really a great app, hoping for updates soon...

I've been looking for a new sms app and this one's I will be using for a while if the improvements keep coming. First thing is that It would be nice if we could put a background for our conversations. Second it would be nice if the video attachment option would work as well as the emoji one. Also if the delay when sending could be optional that'd be great, it just annoys me a little bit not having it show up right away. Thanks!

Been testing lots of stock sms replacement apps and this one is the one I always ended up choosing. Why? Because with its padding features it's perfect for all sorts of screen (wide or narrow), customization features never lack, compatibility with different launchers so far none, and file size is great. I really would like to ask you guys to upvote this app by trying this and making a great review for this. To the developers, please add a feature where we can change the avatar shape (round,circle,square).TY

Swiping away the quick reply function also removes the notification, which I would prefer to stay there. sometimes I'm doing something important on my phone and can't reply to a text at that moment, so I swipe it away. I then forget I have a message since there's no notification

The biggest and most annoying bugs I have come across are when I'm in a thread with a person I'm texting and I still receive the drop down quick reply from the person who I'm in the same thread with. Another bug is the notification in the status bar won't always automatically clear once I go I to the the thread with that person who sent the text. And furthermore when in the thread with a person and I receive a text it won't always update it at the bottom of the thread even though I receive the quick reply

I've tried many sms apps and this one is easily in my top 3. A few features that would bring this to 5 stars: 1 - pw/pattern protected private inbox - what's the point of a private inbox if anyone with your phone can easily access it? 2 - sending delay/unsend in case you want the option of cancelling a message at the last minute. Are there any plans to add any of these features in the future?

A good app with great potential. It would be helpful if the customization options were more streamlined. Looking forward to more updates as the kinks are worked out.

It's one of the best SMS app I've ever tried. One thing though, quick reply doesn't work, whenever I open a message it goes directly to the app. How can I make it have a pop up quick reply? It's the only problem I have with this app. Please reply as soon as you can. Please continue making this app a lot better. I love it so much! 😊

I love this app. I wanted to like qk more since it's open source but this is so much nicer. Still would like a simple pin for the private inbox. Doesn't have to be encrypted, the private inbox is just a protection against fools anyhow

Have a few bugs but overall a great start. The reply option doesn't work..then it takes me to the app and freezes up. Only bug I found so far. - dropped it a few stars as nothing is being updated.

Share dialogue to send content to the app is a bit buggy for me, UI elements are a bit jumbled when switching frim recent contacts to favorites. Search by number does not work when picking a contact to receive shared content.

I love this app, the one thing I really cannot go without is .vCard support for business. Please add it and it would be flawless

Honestly its really smooth and nice feeling...But there isn't enough customization. You need to add individual conversation customization for sure. And bubble changing. Just some little things that are in other top messaging apps

I love it, but the quick reply is too buggy and unreliable for me atm.i shall re-download when I see an update.

Still has a few issues to fix: Attempting to send multiple photos never works Selfie camera doesn't work (shows blank screen)

Literally so many customization options! Best SMS app out there! Only a few things I would like to see added. It needs an emoji add on first and foremost. Twitter and iOS styles possibly? Also an option to change the color of the notification icon. And also some more bubble style options. Maybe some round ones without the tails? Add these things and I will definitely rate 5 stars!

Excellent SMS app loads to customise and my MMS works now first app to achieve this :) and you can customise everything and I've bought em all but keep using this as my daily SMS driver just wish there was rounded bubbles with no tails 😁 * Still using although it hasn't been updated latley which is a shame

One of the best SMS apps I've tried. If it gets the ability to show toasts and vibrate when a message is delivered, vibrate when a message is received during a call and play notification sounds when a message is received during a call then I'm making this my daily SMS app. Please add these features. Edit: Is AwSMS abandoned?

I'm loving how you are pretty much can customize every bit of element in the app. However, my only gripe for now is the name of the app, it feels lazily thought out. I hope you change it? I don't know if that's possible but yeah.

Of the many messaging apps I've used this is the only one I kept for more than a few weeks. Few bugs and heads up reply works really nicely

I just dont like when i send a group message . It appears to be individual when i turn back to the conversation list instead of single avatar for the whole recipient :-)
