This is a virtual pet app where you can raise your very own Axolotl on your smartphone. It`s so easy to raise. Just feed your pet once every four days and clean its home once a week. This game app is great for kids and people who find RPG's and puzzle games a bit tedious. Try this game out! It's therapeutic, and a great way to kill time!
[Basic Functions]
- It's simple to raise. Just remember to feed you Axolotl and clean its home.
- Like a real Axolotl, it moves around in such an adorable way.
- You can call over your Axolotl by tapping on the screen. Look at how adorable this is!
- You can give your Axolotl a name. You can give it a new name at anytime.
- Your Axolotl grows in realtime. The growth of your pet is calculated by every 0.5 second.
- The game records how much your pet has grown since the last time you visited it.
- You can take a picture of your Axolotl with your mobile device and share it with your friends over various social networking sites.
- The app also can send you notifications to let you know when your pet needs feeding and cleaning.
- You can even transfer your pet's data to a new device so that you can keep the same pet even after you change your mobile device.

I love it :) Axolotls are so cute, easy to take care of. Not sure why everyone complains about so many adds, I hardly get any. I think a tank customization option would be a neat thing to add. I also think it would be so much more satisfying and soothing if when you clean the tank you could do it with your finger and watch the gunk get wiped away. Not much to the app, but that's what makes it so great :)
Decent but many bugs Nice little game does what I want it to on very basic level, but there are at least 3 buttons on the main game screen that do not function at all seems to be zero coding behind them? Those being the photo, main menu, and show appreciation buttons. Obviously if you want to use any of these that's an issue. You can still feed and clean Axolotl without problem. Basic functionally for an idle pet style game. Approx 2 mins per day I'd say. Daily updates about his growth though!
The game is pretty relaxing, but could use some upgrades: make the axolotl swimming animation smoother with an animated turning instead of suddenly facing to a different direction; add more animations, like doing a back flip or something; add a few minigames, a recommendation would be a ring game, no rewards, just a simple game of an axolotl going through rings; lastly, the AI could use some more work. great app overall.
It's very therapeutic, but it would be nice to have a play or pet option. For a play option, you could drop small rings into the water and have the Axolotl swim through them. It'd be good exercise for it as well. EDIT: My Axolotl just died. I'm a pretty forgetful person, so it'd be nice to have a feature in the app where you can set a notification for a set time to remind you to check on your Axolotl.
It's cute but needs more features. I think you should make the screen where we can move back and forth of the tank. You should also make it so that the background is not flat. Like make it so there is depth. Like for example, axolotl swims in the log or behind rock. I love the idea of this game!
Super cute & very low maintenance. It would be helpful for the app to have optional notifications for when the Axie is getting low on food or the tank needs a good cleaning. I think it would also be cool if the tank were upgradable or zoomed out as the axolotl got bigger - mine barely fits in the frame anymore & it would be cool to be able to see all of him again.
Having a vertual pet axolotl was interesting but having to clean up and feed it every so often was hard to keep up with because it dies and then you always have to start with a new one . It is a calming game to watch the axolotl move around and also a bit frustrating to start over with a new one after the current one dies. I know it's how the game works based on life, if you don't feed your pet every day or often, it will die. So it teaches responsibility,and has an almost real life logic.
This game is so cute and fun. Although, it would be nice if there were more features than just 'feed' and 'clean' Also, more colours would be cool. At the moment there is gold, black and albino but I'd really love to see more in the future. All in all, it's fun and addictive and interesting to see how big it can grow. My friends and I have 4 devices with this app all together and we've all really enjoyed it! Update: we are horrible pet owners, they all died.
It's a good relaxing game to just tap and watch the pet swim where you tap. Could be better by adding simple things to it like rings that you can drop into and have it grab or swim through or be able to have him do more motions but overall very good game to just pass time
The creature is cute/adorable and i probably wouldnt mind staring at it for an hour or so (if there weren't so many pointless ads), but you can't really interact with it & as interesting as it is to just watch it's tiny limbs move about it doesn't particularly do anything but crawl or swim.
it's actually a very cute game, not really a try-harding with levelling up or something, but i kinda wish the app could fill my whole screen and not leave thick black lines on top and bottom, and i wish you could customise the background of tank, or something, please
Mine somehow died I guess because it reset everything. I fed it and cleaned the aquarium regularly so I'm not sure how that happened or what happened. And then I just had an empty aquarium so I uninstalled and reinstalled. I shall give it another go but it's a little disappointing for it to grow so much only to reset.
It's as adorable simple app, Virtual pet, it's pretty simple, it's definitely something I enjoy tho, to see it get bigger and be proud that it's getting bigger and it's just alot of fun and simple, not to many things to do in the app tho:( so if your wanting like, to play with the pet you can't, it's just something simple and a nice thing to looks at every morning and he like, "wow you've gotten so big y/n!' it is sad when they pass tho:( I cried about it the first time it died
It's an ok game. I do like the animation and how smooth the game runs and how cute the Axolotl is but after you feed and clean the tank there really isn't much else to do. It's a quite boring and I quickly lost interest in it and it cause my Axolotl to die. I would suggest putting in some type of mini game to keep people interested in the game. It is a game to be fair. Not the real thing. If you dont feel like adding a mini game maybe consider more planting options for the tank for customization
Press a button, ads. Look at a menu, ads. Sit there do nothing, TWO ADS. I get the need of money but really, I camt even press the feed button without getting an ad. Not to mention game limitations is a sit and watch kinda thing. At least in real life I can actually play with the pet instead of just... Watching it. Very slowly it does..! Nothing. Loads of potential but right now, just a waste of time for me.
The simplicity of this game was very recognizable as intended and I can see the game really wasn't meant to be played for extended periods of time. This is.simply just a fun app you can keep up with a few times a day to watch your pet grow and I can appreciate that
I like the game but there should be more things to do, We should have different activity tanks ( like a tank with a maze in it) . In real life axolotls are VERY smart. We should be able to teach them tricks. We also should be able to choose our own decorations.
Pretty simplistic game that doesn't require much effort, only every 2-3 days u need to log in to clean end feed and the axolotl is very adorable. I love the tank set up as well. Could be a really fun game with a bit more work but all in all i enjoy watching it swim around for a while 😊
I absolutely love this app. Simplistic, relaxing, and easy to use. My Axolotl is about 160 days old now. I like to fall asleep with the music in the background. There are 5 different BGMs, but 1 and 5 are my favorite ones. I could play them for hours. I actually have this app on my backup phone, but for some reason I cant post reviews from that one.
Great game but it would be nice if it could be made a little more realistic. You usually don't just have one axolotl per tank so it would be cool if you could have at least 2. It would be nice if there were more things to do but I do get that it's supposed to a simple game! Could you add like tank customization too I think that would be very cool. Over all good job thanks!
I love it when it grows but my only fault I with you could like properly clean it having to wash it with our fingers I think that you could add more stuff to make it more fun for people like at the beginning when you install have an option to play the old version or the new option and the new option can have game and accessories.
People complain about ads but I never get any, I love that, but maybe it's the device you're using that may be causing so many ads to pop up. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S8+ and every time i used this app even in the far past I used a samsung and never had problems with ads. I havent had an ad once. But I adore this game, I love Axolotls they're so cute.
While it isn't the most exciting app, it is nice to have a digital pet axolotl... Such cool creatures! It can be nice to watch it every now and then. I like the fact that it is interactive, when you touch the screen the axolotl will go to that point! The bad point is that some features don't work, like taking a picture.... Otherwise I would give 5 stars.
