If you switch out of the app and come back to it, it freezes. It constantly says that it "failed to start scan for Wi-Fi", making it impossible to view your videos without shutting off your camera and closing the app. It still needs a function to memorize two cameras because pairing only intermittently works. Please fix this stuff. Labeling videos takes way too long.
As one of the agencies that have agreed to use this technology, the app is absolutely terrible since it's most recent update. The videos often fail to play through the app and that's assuming that you get a connection with the camera. Nothing has worked to play the videos regardless of what steps are taken. I have spoken with our Body Cam unit about these issues with the software from this company. Samsung Galaxy S10+
This app is terrible. The app can't find the camera regardless of how many times it's put into pairing mode. I've restarted my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and called the company and they were no help. Seems like it's a common problem. I've uninstalled it again with no intention of downloading it in the future. This review is for a galaxy s8 active.
Axon flex 2 won't connect to live view, keeps saying WiFi not found. Tried to repair, still doesn't work
It ALWAYS wants to connect to wifi then disconnect and so on getting stuck in this loop and it just keeps asking to connect and disconnect... It wont let me watch play back anymore and it wont let me update the app on android play. It also takes forever for it to connect to my android to label footage... I also wish it had the same function as axon capture for being able to select multiple items to label at the same time instead of one at a time.
Downloaded the app for my Samsung s9 and it worked for several months. Now I am currently not able to see video playback or live view because the app can't configure the camera wifi and it states that the wifi on camera network is not enabled. I tried deleting app and downloading again with negative results. I also tried contacting axon and they were of no use.
Terrible camera won't stay paired and working with cell phone. Have had to Uninstall and reinstall app several times. The having to connect with my departments wi-fi is another nightmare. Tge old camera that did not require wi-fi was much better and always worked with phone.
Cannot connect to my phone anymore. It will say scanning for device when it is already connected then won't allow me to play any videos saying cannot connect to device. I can see the list of videos but cannot play them.
Crashes constantly when trying to save metadata. All of our videos have to be labeled, and this app makes it difficult to do when it crashes all the time.
I used to work for Axon until mid 2019. Personal issues aside... An app development individual or team made an effort to create this and as a fellow former employee I want to support that person or people involved in the apps development. It's not easy and Axon goal as a company is to "make the bullet obsolete". I support that 100%.
Works fine except I cannot see all videos saved. It caps at a set amount and won't show newer videos until the old ones are downloaded.
Connects well. Plays video well. Live stream doesn't work on my Pixel 5. Coworkers are having mixed results. App needs serious improvement.
What has Axon done? This used to be a great app till the last update. Now the camera can't be found. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Now doing this a second time. Running on the Android platform.
Review update: Back to one star! The app connects, i can see the list of videos, but nope... cant play them. I get the foreverlasting spinning wheel.
It won't let me play back videos on my Samsung Galaxy s9+. It tells me to delete the wifi for the canera. I have tried reinstalling and even that is stalling out.
New version does not allow for locking on numeric keypad when entering ID numbers (a completely numeric number). This is about and takes forever to categorize now please fix
The bodycam does not pair up to the cell phone no matter howmany times the app, the camera is reloaded. So I have to wait to the end of my shift to tag my bodycam video and that takes up to an hour more.
Still not able to use app even after updates. App keeps asking to turn wifi on and off which is a cycle when you do. Would give 0 stars but it's impossible. App needs a better update so Android users like myself can use it
I can't ever get this app to open. It immediately crashes when it opens. Junk.
There is a play back error message, every time I try and review the footage.
Won't pair with my AXON camera. AXON talks a good game but their customer service and products have slipped over the years.
Hi i have axon body 2 . But the glass broken . I try to change it with other glass but the view become unclear. Help please its emergency
Cant view the video's. For iphone you can view the videos not for android's. Please update it so we can view our videos.
Most of the time, I can't view my videos in the field. I have a Samsung S9.
Not working with my lg stylo 4t. Tried uninstalling and installing the app back and everything.
Whatever Axon did on the recent update has vastly improved the app. The app used to connect slowly to my camera, and would also sometimes completely wipe any information I was typing. So far I'm not having that issue anymore, and the app is running a lot more stable and smooth. I'm leaving four stars, because it took so long for these issues to be resolved. Hopefully Axon will stay on top of it and keep doing better updates.
