Crashes Everytime you open it, still garbage 4 years later....update two more years later still terrible. Hope you have good cell service multiple times offers fail to full load causing me to pay full and get shafted. Bring back the punch card
Clunky, buggy app. And now they don't issue a card so you're forced to use this pathetic app. What's more, you can only redeem with the app when you're in front of the cashier. No cell service or wifi, no way to redeem. At least with a hard card you could bypass the app, but no more.
For two days now, no merchants appear. (Last time I used it successfully was probably three weeks ago.) It keeps saying, "Bummer! Nothing matches!" Nothing on the map either. No filters or categories selected. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Didn't fix it. (Android) Frustrating! Love the savings (when I can get them). ;) Update: it started working all of a sudden this evening. A bit unreliable.
Axxes Card app is a hit and miss on functionality. I picked a restaurant offered with the coupons, but lost out on savings due to relying on app. I made several attempts to try to open up the app even tried uninstalling and installing again and same issue. I would consider changing my rating if I was to get compensated, but. doubt thats going to happen.
Having a hard time only using the app. Wish you had the card back.

Go back to the physical card! This whole process stinks. I haven't even been able to use it.
Bummer this is associated with a fundraiser. So many updates and bugs. Get this fixed for next year.
currently, we cant use any of our benefits because it requires you to grant them access to your call log or it wont even load. other apps don't require this and since we pay for the membership, we should still get access to our discounts. crashes a lot and drains the battery even after it's closed out. first version a few years back was way better
It crashes a lot , but the 2019 card at least worked. Since I loaded the 2020 card, it rarely works (blank screen when I do a nearby merchant search). I have a 2 year old Samsung Galaxy 7 edge. I called yesterday and they said IT will look into it, and maybe they will have a fix when they do the next update. In the meantime, I have to use my card for businesses I know that are participating. Being new to the area, the app was the way for me to try a new business when I am in a certain area.
Great deals and it works great with restaurants but the app crashes all the time, I'd recommend taking a screenshot of the business you want to go to and that way if the app crashes at the payment counter you can show them the screenshot to get your buy one get one free deal
Constantly not working gets stuck doesn't load and sometimes offers error message "we are having a problem" pops up. I've noticed the vendors have been having trouble with it themselves when scanning the card. This app needs a lot of work.
kept crashing when i needed it to work. this has happened through many versions of the app and many times at restaurants... it just doesn't load and doesn't say anything. the card is great though.
Unusable. Tried entering the family Axxess card and it failed: "this card is already registered." no one else has added it to any app, and even if they had, that restriction makes no sense. I tried skipping straight to the Santa Barbara businesses and nothing populated the list, regardless of how the filter was set. Totally useless.
New version asked permissions to make phone calls and use camera, for no apparent reasons. Without that the app doesn't even open. They should do like all other apps and let people use it without any permission granted, and disable just the features that require them.
App is convenient, but it crashes far too much even on the most up-to-date new phones. Disappointing when you arrive at a spot you intended to get a discount on. And it won't open.
The Axxess card is a great thing to have, and this app makes the experience even better. The app itself isn't buggy (as I thought it might be), and in fact provides a really good user-end. It'll even show temporary deals sometimes.
Ok, everything is an app now. Sometimes it works, here it doesn't. Every restaurant wants to take my unlocked phone away to scan the qr code. I don't like giving my phone to anybody, let alone a stranger with food hands to take back to who knows where. Keep it simple and just use a card again please
Update: Working well still after over a year!!! Thanks for fixing the app. Now everything works! 4 stars so far! This is a great idea but for some reason the offers that I'm most interested in using tell me to activate a card through the app . My card is already activated I can't even view what the offer is please fix I do love my access card thanks!
This last week the app only works half the time. A few days ago when I opened it, about dozens businesses came up. None where anywhere near where I was located. Nothing I did could get the businesses near me. Yesterday it worked fine. Today it won't even open. So half of the time it is totally useless.
The app works fine for the most part. But everytime i try to search a restaurant that i know is in there, it always says it doesnt find it. So i have to scroll down until i see the restaurant i need.
Great card, but the app need some serious work. They fixed the lack of map fiction (2 stars went to o 3, yay!) But now it's always changing my stores to Santa Barbara and I need to fix it all the time (I live in Camarillo)
I decided to acually try it after hearing about it for 19ish years. It's great. Easy to use, it seems like every merchant knows how to quickly adjust one's charge, and you'll enjoy some unlisted gems when "using" it.
Never seem to find the deals beforehand. I bought the thing because it said the costco membership was some kind of deal, and turns out, it was the same deal I could have walked off the street and gotten.
Ounce you use a restaurant or other deal, all subsequent deals disappear. To get back you must uninstall and reinstall app. Great product but doesn't work. Bring back the card.
