Take into consideration that If you find yourself near a magnet or in a area with a strong magnetic field the precision will be lost as with a real compass.

Absence of ads and other nonsense is something most app could learn from. Functions perfectly, remember to calibrate (wave in figure 8 pattern), and it will serve you well. Thanks devs!
Always been directionally challenged. Taught myself to read maps, learned Pathfinder's direction guidelines - then discovered azimuth. I love it. Oh, also love car compass and cellphone GPS. Never get lost anymore. 💞
So simple to use translates degrees to compass points, azimuth settings. Not sure if it's true or magnetic north, setting elevations (sat dish) is brilliant
It IS useful. Often confused by surrounding electricL/magnetic fields but that probably has more to do with the phone than the app.
Used to find SAT azimuth, affected somewhat by proximity to the dish which is sensor issue. Very easy to see.

easy to use, but would like altitude reading as well.
Worked great for finding stars in the sky when you have coordinates for azimuth and altitude.
Nice design aside from 1 thing. Can the needle point be closer to the degree marker lines?

Excellent app for star gazing. It follow the Azimuth navigation system so it's slightly different from that of a regular compass. Must have for all star gazing enthusiasts. It serves as an excellent compass as well, featuring a simple and easy to use UI.
