For drivers, the app lets you view scores, receive rewards for safe driving, review your trip logs, punch in and out of shifts and more.
For Fleet and Safety managers, this same app lets you view the status of your fleet, keep an eye on driving behavior and send rewards to drivers.
• Track safety scores. Drivers can keep tabs on their safety scores, see how they stack up against one another, and coach themselves into becoming safer, more efficient drivers. Supervisors can view the same scores and leaderboard to see how well drivers perform behind the wheel and what driving behaviors need work, from a laptop, mobile phone, or tablet.
• Reward safe, smart driving. Reward drivers for a job well done behind the wheel. With a tap, managers can send rewards—and drivers receive them—using FleetMobile. Rewards can also be sent via Azuga Fleet.
• ID Drivers. Using Bluetooth, pair phone with the GPS Tracking device to identify who is actually driving the vehicle.
• Receive alerts and notifications. Set up alerts and receive automatic notifications when safety issues, such as speeding or hard braking, are detected.
• Log and tag trips. When a driver uses FleetMobile, data is captured from every vehicle he or she drives, creating a comprehensive trip log. Tag trips as business or personal and capture details, including starting point, destination, stops, locations, distance, speed, and idle time.
• Increase efficiency. Leverage a range of built-in utilities, such as vehicle health monitoring, navigation, tracking, parked vehicle location, and third-party apps.
Here is how it works:
• The Azuga GPS fleet tracking device plugs directly into the vehicle’s on-board computer and captures data on how safely and efficiently your employees drive.
• What is the Driver Score? Azuga takes the data and creates a driver score and ranking based on each individual driver’s behavior behind the wheel. Scores are calculated on a scale of 0 - 100 for the previous day’s trips considering the following unsafe driving events:
• Speeding
• Idling
• Hard Braking
• Sudden Acceleration
• Cornering
• Distracted Driving
• Seat belt usage
• Note: Not all events are considered for score calculations. It is the discretion of your supervisor to choose the events included in the scores calculated for your fleet or company.
• How is the Azuga Driver Score calculated? Combined with the unsafe driving events, the Azuga Driver Score is calculated based on the following parameters:
• Magnitude of events: For example, a hard brake is a change in speed of 8-12 MPH in ONE second.
• Duration: For example, the number of seconds driving above the speed limit threshold.
• Spatio-temporal index: Helps give a perspective on when the event occurred and how well the driver behaved when conditions were adverse. For example, speed during snow conditions.
• The Driver Score screen displays a driver’s performance and driving behavior. The first section has the driver’s overall safety score followed by the scores for the unsafe driving events.

This app makes you drive more recklessly. You tend to speed up at yellow lights and stop real close to cars that cut you off just to avoid hard brakes. You also tend to merge slower onto the freeway so you don't get dinged for acceleration. Not to mention you hyper focus on your speed and tend to get distracted. This causes so much unneeded stress on already over worked employees.
idle times are totally inaccurate, it goes against your score when you're sitting at a red light or in traffic or going slow. the software should be able to determine whether the vehicle is in gear and or moving slowly and not count it as Idle time like it is currently doing.
Super invasive app. Requires access to your photos even. Can't even close it normally. Have to "force stop" the app through the phone app settings to close the app. Let me close the app when not in use (i.e. when I'm not at work).
The app doesn't connect very well or very often, and once it does, it always disconnects after 5 seconds. It leads to either dangerously reconnecting on the road or driving un logged.
This app is good to keep tract of your fleet.

This app is not worth the cost. The makers of Azuga had to refund my company for three months because it doesn't have the correct posted speed limits. On I-90 it doesn't show the change in speeds. Where it says 70 mph on the speed limit sign, Azuga says it's 60 mph. They refuse to fix it. On Highway 395 it showed the speed limit as 65 mph. There is no place in Spokane Washington that is 65 mph. This app is wrong and needs to be taken out of existence. Don't buy it. It is a waste of money.
Keeps disconnecting from bluetooth pairing. Just did a system update, now app can't pair with vehicle and the phone is paired and connected to the vehicle.
cons.....doesn't tell you where or exact time of incidents. also completely cuts the phone off while driving and if you are busy with work that can have a big impact. also you have to pull over to use phone and must shut off vehicle or you will get dinged for idiling.
The Admin version only shows the vehicle name....it needs to display the driver name.... Or at least have the option to choose either display name. You can do a search for the driver's name and the app will zoom in on the vehicle that the driver is associated with but it would make more sense to just display the driver's name instead of the vehicle name

App doesn't work half the time. Constantly logs you out and won't open.
New update wont even allow me to get into the app stuck on "fetching user configuration"!!!!!!!! Was told it was fixed and im still having the same issue so frustrating
Good app but automatically opens every time I unlock my phone or when I'm in the middle of doing something in another app and nowhere near the car.
the app constantly pops up when I'm trying to do other things on my phone, (like enter time sensitive input) and it runs my battery down.
Help a lot to inprove your driving, easy to check your driving
Shows im speeding even though going under the posted limits. Azuga needs to update their system to reflect current speed limits or people will keep getting speeding hits for no reason.
I like this app and service. All very easy to use. I will set not even training is needed.
App requires a login each time you open it and the reset password link does not work.
Amazing. Azuga has helped me become a better safer driver for myself and my family. Also the staff that runs azuga is so nice and helpful such a blessing !🙏💯
it cool..but sometime the Azuga ain't as accurate....or sometime it don't let you log into the truck....other then that it cool
Love being able to see everything , the when , the where , the what. Bumps me off line occasionally and I have to log back on. Never remember my password because of password restrictions. Still love the app
